So, I’m not having difficulty with crashing. In fact, my game will run for hours just fine. But the wild Dinos seem off. Stealy birds respawn instantly even if you kill 10 of them. They kill my dinos who are defenseless againsy flyers. Tickle chickens hunt you down half way across the map seem way more aggressive than before (if that is possible).

And it seems like Carnotaurs can now catch an Iguano in sprint mode. And you can’t outrun any Dino on foot.

Well depends, official servers are dying due to the server issues thanks to beloved Nitrado, as for singleplayer/dedicated servers, it's doing pretty fine. Apparently some people are getting infinite crashes, my guess is highest settings possible. On my pc, THAT DOESN'T even meet minimal requirements, I'm enjoying it on around 30-60 fps without a single crash ever since I started

I think most people have their loot drop setting set to 5 out of 5, which in ASE didn't seem to do anything.. I thought the drops were OP in ASA, so I changed my to 2.0, and I got mostly vegetables, so I changed it to 3.5 and that seems reasonable but not OP. It's nice to know the setting does something now.

To be honest, I don't think I've ever had issues with optimization, and always questioned what are all those people talking about, and until now I don't know 😂 , the only issue I've ever had was if I had to fly through the entire map at light-speed, or just sometimes even on a flyer it takes like half a second to load the entire map, which might just be view-distance setting issue as I got it on low

The only map that I could say I HATED for it's optimization, is lost island

I wouldn’t say artificially. It is specifically designed to work with NVidia CUDA/Tensor. Just as XeSS is optimized for Intel. If the card doesn’t have AI cores, I wouldn’t take advantage of the appropriate technology (frame rendering/dsll/) and would cease to give any performance gain.

FSR is distributed as sourcecode, devs can alter it in any way they want, leading to stuff like tears of the kingdom using it on switch. it still normally needs a modern GPU, unaltered. DLSS is a black box DLL, cant be modified in any way and is restricted to specific nvidia cards/drivers. there is nothing special about "CUDA" cores, literally just nvidia's name for a core. their last several gens of GPUs all have the hardware needed to run DLSS3+framegen denoising (the only part that uses the "AI" cores), it is just disabled purposefully

I think your wrong about the cores. Intel will straight up tell you that their “CUDA” equivalent cores are not the same. An A770 has far more cores that a 4060 and is closer to the core count in 4070, but it doesn’t process per core in quite the same way.
