The option is in the general settings tab on NItrado. Override Official Difficulty set to 6 for lvl180 dinos.

Thats just cope. The graphics are better for sure, its UE5 not UE4 BUT the game is indeed worst, pathfinding is bad ( if you dont move, most dinos will just turn around you without hitting you ), translations are bad, servers, optimization, and couple of other things are actually worst than ASE

For people that runs the game not very well, try on low and put this command in console, it will help i have a 2070 and i get constant 80 fps ( they are locked at 80). So yeah @peak finch @tall minnow you guys want to address the problem of people who are having their PCs shut down in character creation still? Because I just updated with that monster sized patch but it did nothing to help that problem. I still watched my PC completely shut down when I went to create my survivor. All settings are defaulted to Medium which should be more than reasonable enough to run the game.

rtx 3060 just got an update today ,download the update drivers. AND @young nebula ASA is a way for wildcard to get experience and make ARK2, ASA is EA untill they deem otherwise , we still lack the dlc map/contents too. Expect a year or 2 till we get all the stuff for ASA. ARK2 wont be out till then at least. I am thinking Wildcard might also do some experiments with ASA to test the engine and new mechanics for Ark2. Like the fishing mechanic they been teasing in the art. Good things come for those who wait.

im just saying, im happy with this game, it feels like im playing the island for the first time. I have mixed feelings on the baby mechanic, killing something and stealing its children feels easy, got myself a 115 carno (rip Jimmy) who wasnt eaten by another carno. Its buggy and shit but i started off on ps4, im used to this shit.

also the server problems are entirely Nitrados fault, Wildcard didnt even get a choice in that, Snail Games fucked them over.

I personally have had minimal performance issues. My problem lies with server hosting. I used to use nitrado for ASE but the fact that there is now a monopoly bothers me. No competition gives nitrado all the bargaining power. We have no other choice so we just have to deal with them. I’m refunding when I get home.

The ticket page doesn't exist anymore and i have no path at all to report misconduct or anything other than server outages, which is every server so there is no need to report the outages just gotta be patient. However the rollbacks have already taken 6 tames TODAY, yes in one day, 6 tames and THOUSANDS of materials that are difficult to grind out. some tribe with a tribename that itself breaks the conduct code is running rampant and ddosing, claiming they can dupe and mesh and being degenerate toxic racist individuals that target and harass individuals for no reason have taken over the server and it is just depressing that nothing is even able to be reported let alone have any kind of action taken against them.

Devs, fix your game. Opening inventory causes virtual memory leak, gpu goes from 50% utilization idle, to 100% locked until a game reset. Also, add more servers, big surprise your player counts are not working properly, they are full, every server is full, very few people are able to play the game online. Every hour you guys decide to not solve the issue, is another several hundred thousand dollars out the window. I have no idea how you guys have jobs, I'd imagine that will soon be changing

Just a thought. Why not release the console version but without multiplayer. That way people on console can start playing on single player and get an idea of how the game is. It’s not ideal but I would imagine that many would be happy with that, for now.

My hope is that the game becomes so bad that snail games is forced to sell it to another company that might actually have some idea how to manage it. There's a 3 year contract with nitrado so that they are the only ones who can host servers for ASA. They are making it extremely difficult for people to host their own servers. That's monopolizing on this service. You can report breaking of antitrust laws to the federal government. The more they receive the more likely they will investigate. Also its better than spamming phalluses and pointless complaints in chat.

Our team has a private server and it's working well. Yeah, I've had like 2 or 3 crashes today but that's over a 3 hour period. Which I'd honestly expect from a game still classified as early access. The only way you change the server issue is by getting enough people to STOP renting NItrado servers and to STOP playing on the officials. This is untrue. Report their contract for breaking the sherman antitrust law. They are monopolizing on a service and eliminating competition via their contract with snail games. Both companies will be fined by the feds until they change their contract terms. The feds will care because they smell the money (welcome to capitalism). Nitrado has a 3 year binding contract to be the sole server provider for ASA and they are making it increasingly difficult for people to host their own servers on the game.

And remember the government is composed of multiple different branches. Major changes take a while but smaller branches might work faster to hand out fines. Gaming servers hosted by a single company to wipe out the competition of other companies and furthermore, making it more difficult for individuals to host their own server. That's monopolizing on a service and conspiring to eliminate competition. These laws are set in place for a reason. Let the feds figure it out, if it's a violation we will see both snail and nitrado get fined until they change the terms to allow competition. If not we are stuck with nitrado for 3 years. But its infinitely better to report a violation than to spam complaints to the wild card social media dev team hoping for a change.
