1. Amber, Mobile has some sort of game currency where you can spend irl money for it to get items in ARK

2. the DLCs, Mobile only has the default Island Map compared to PC

3. The Bosses are different when fighting in Mobile and in PC, in Mobile you have to do some dungeon maze thing but you can't bring your dinos to the final boss fight and have to 1v1 the Boss with your best ascendant gear whereas in PC you can bring your horde of Gigas to take down the boss.

If I remember right from Gigantoraptors vote forum, Gigrap is an air conditioner and imprint buffer who gets its own hefty buff when around babies while maewing is still the baby trough/transport. The creator wanted to make a dino who fits into is own niche and works with the other existing dinos without taking their places, if I remember correctly its been a while since I read that forum.

I’m a returning player and a while ago I had trilobites spawning and everything was fine. But now every single world I go into there are no trilobites anywhere and trust me I have checked everywhere.

I also have an issue with wyvern nests not spawning. Not just the eggs hut there are just simply no nests. I’m on Xbox if anybody could help that would be great

so like, by default singleplayer maps don't just go into stasis when you're not in an area

they go into hibernation, which means nothing happens when you're not nearby

This screws with things like wyvern nests pretty bad

If your computer can handle it, run the setting that stops hibernation

An alternative is to just idle for a while near wyvern nests

You'll generally be best off picking your favorite titan and riding it into battle directly- I would actually recommend desert titan, because it seems like he just does not like to do anything on his own

If you don't want to do that you can bring your biggest baddest mek with a big bad gun and do support fire from a distance

and if you've got more bravery than sense you can ride a giga or something

This is best done with a quetzalcoatlus that you've built a box on top of so that he can't Dismount you, but honestly any flyer can do the job it just might be a little bit spicier

Every single time ive trapped a reaper, it's eother grabbed me through a wall or its animation put me through the wall

But taming things no traps is better it’s supposed to be like that

The only times I have failed a Reaper tame with just a Drake, is when I misjudged how much HP it had left and accidentally killed it

Which is a problem you also have in the Trap

On a similar note, there was not one time where I got a shadowmane in the box and it went smooth

Most of the time I had to dismantle about half the trap to get the cat to correctly work again

I have had no end of problems with traps. I do not like them I do not use them in all but a handful of situations

It does but the torpor increase is greater than the decrease. What I mean is that you can’t just knock something out and immediately force feed it narcotics to keep it asleep. Once it’s torpor hits max again all remaining narcotic effects stop and the torpor will begin to lower.

usually in official 253/254 stat damage, rest health. For example, rex with 254 stat damage = baby born with 1.6k melee damage.

I’ve only ever done Alpha Bosses, my Tek Rexes are around 55-60,000 Hp, 1015 Melee and they did totally fine without any losses… although Tek Cave I lost plenty but that was due to Terrain not Enemies 👍🏼 Hope this helps

theris are good for dragon, megatheriums for spooder, rexes for mega, also id bring a yuti and a deadon. but thats the basic. its litterally whatever you wanna try to use. just know dragon devestates meateaters. but always prepare with ammo, health stuff and more! but yeah it depends on how you wanna play it, or things you wish to achieve

You can because its a Steam Server, But to play you'll need to buy ARK on Windows

Steam and Microsoft are not crossplay. In order to play with xbox, you will have to download the Windows10 version from the Microsoft store. Depending on what server provider you are using, you may have purchased the wrong type as Microsoft only allows Nitrado as a hosting provider for renting.

Yes but it only applies them once. The manticore is the only boss that can be beaten on multiple maps for the levels.

omfg, the drama i just caused myself was so dumb and unnecessary it's almost inexplicable 🤦 I killed my bloodstalker and found myself panicking a little because i was in the middle of a tame and torpor was already low. There's a theri right beside me and it's already killing me so i'll let it happen, i'll just respawn and come back with a new stalker. I only vaguely knew where I was and didn't look at the cross before I spawned because i needed to get narcotics into the tame ASAP. I eventually found my bag (ofc filled with my best loot) with 48 seconds left on the timer 🤡

Put your resource respawn rate to 0.1 if you're on single player. This is a known bug, if you log out before the nodes respawn they can stay permanently despawned. This is the only way I've been able to fix it for myself. You may need to hang out in the area with the missing nodes for 15-20 minutes to get them to pop.

read boi read. Here's how maturation and imprint works. There's a set Interval for how long every dino type takes to mature and you can control the length of the interval by increasing the baby mature speed multiplier. If the default is 100 minutes, by setting your multiplier to 10 you get 10 minutes and 100 you get 1 minute.

The imprint multiplier or cuddle interval determines how long the interval between each imprint will take. The default is 8 hours and regardless of whether you're breeding a dodo or a giga, each imprint will occur after 8 hours by default. If the baby will mature in 4 hours, you get 0% imprint. If the baby matures in 8.5 hours, you'll get one cuddle which will give 100% imprint. If the baby matures in just over 24 hours you get 3 cuddles, each giving about 33% imprint. The only way to get less imprint is to skip a cuddle event before a baby grows up. If your multipliers mean that the game can only fit in an X number, the total imprint will be distributed likewise.

When you increase maturation speed multiplier, you need to decrease the cuddle interval so you get at least one cuddle before full maturity.

For fast raising, use a high value like 100 and use a reverse fraction of the same, like 0.01 for cuddle interval.

A dedicated server? Check to make sure the entire save isn't gone. Tribe logs will help there. Ask your friend if they have their stuff.

If your friend did nothing it's either a bug or an unlucky attack by a giga or the like.

If it is on your shoulder - Emote to clap/toggle pet light. Either will turn it on while you are running or on a dino

Otherwise throw it off your shoulder and hold E on it, Toggle on and also enable at full charge if you desire.
