If u do find a carcar in the desert, i do really recommend a trap and leading it to a more populated area, the creatures u can find in the dunes with them are spread out so far that by the time u give it a corpse and then come back with another one the taming meter has gone down

But thats only if u dont have any creatures that u are bringing with u for a faster tame

I've been looking at various overhaul mods, trying to think of which ones my wife and I would want to use the next time we play. Omega looks cool, but also a bit instagibby, which I could see frustrating her a bit. I like that it lets you ubercharge whatever sort of dino you find most appealing, since she loves odd little off-meta strats like running around with a pack of a dozen compys, and I always get distracted from pushing towards endgame by my Dimorphodon breeding program ( I love shoulder flyers and using them for dino falconry).

By the same token, it seems like it would also be really easy to lose a tame to something well outside of your control.

With all sorts of elemental storms and black holes and such just wandering around the map.

Yep, usually people go around on a Drake or something, keep distance and take out tentacles, the bug platform in front of the boss is safe, so usually u can have your megalos stand there waiting

When all tentacles are down you can damage the boss heart

He spawns nameless and reapers, also tentacles will start to stun and dismount later into fight, keep ur distance

Usually u keep 1 tentacle alive right next to you after killing all others, so your prepared

The sloped greenhouse roof is literally shorter than a wall. It's not the snap point on the angled wall thats offset. No, the sloped roof is literally too small. I just don't see how shit like this happens -.-

Its taming method is a lot more involved, though
