If you merge your tribe into somebody else (they recruit you)they now own your tribe and you won’t have “admin” ..but I think only owner can merge into another tribe I could be wrong on that it’s been abit since I played . And If the other person merges into your tribe (you recruit them) everything of there’s becomes yours and you’ll have admin still

Take each death as a learning experience and it'll become less common, though

You can generally trace what killed you, why, and what you ca n do to avoid it in the future

for example: Dodos should be ferriried quickly to a secure base when tamed, because they absolutely are just incapable of fending for themselves in any way

Its basically the same, my ps5 loads the game faster but Ark crashes more on it than my ps4. My ps5 handles areas with a lot of dinos/structures better than the Ps4 but the game will crash at least once in those areas. Like I said its basically the same experiance with the only real difference for me being when and how often the game crashes in certain situations.

I did that. Both when I started the server (to set the dino levels to the right level) and yesterday when I ran a command to destroy all wild pelagornis.

They all disappeared and respawned just like that. Just flew around the ocean look for basi, and saw probably a good 50 pelagornis out hovering over the water. I also saw 1 ichthyornis doing the same thing, but hadn't seen one before or since.

I think it has something to do with their distance from land. I just went out to one, and punched it, and it didn't do much. But after awhile it landed on the water (for stamina I assume) and then went back up and then just sat there again. I kept punching it towards land and is it got closer to land, it suddenly started moving normally.

Yes that's exactly what it is. I just punched another one towards shore and same thing once it got close enough it started acting normal again. My guess their logic that looks for a legitimate target point to fly to requires it be both close to them and close to land but since they spawn so far out, they can't find one and just hang there.

You created a new survivor

If you didn’t upload your survivor from the island into a obelisk, you could go back to the island, find your old survivor, upload your current one, and you should be able to play as your old one

Well I was thinking like a cluster server, but in my xbox experience if I started an aberration world for example, and then on that same account started an extinction world, I would be able to transfer tames and object through the obelisks to both maps, so I would assume they would be connected in that way, or, you need to ascend off/download your character from gen 2 having learned those engrams, and download your ascended/downloaded character to the map you're currently playing on. I don't know much about this so I'm just throwing ideas out

If I were to take a guess I would assume it would be the later option, where everything is just one survivor.character, but you just downloaded him from gen2

So log on to gen 2, go to a mission terminal, download your survivor, go to the other map, go to obelisk, and take out that survivor

You couldn’t bring it back in I don’t think but the server settings can be changed to where you do not drop your inventory items on death (i think). If not there’s a mod through the steam community for it. My best friend and I use it in our server if you want me to get the name for you.

If your server host has backups that were previously created, yes. If your provider does not auto create backups (nitrado does, gportal does not, unfortunately), then you would have had to make manual backups in order to restore your saves.

ok basically you want to tame a bunch of high level dinos
first step is to set up at least 10 fireplaces filled with wood to make charcoal
to do that you need a lot of narcotics which means getting something like a trike (or other medium herbivor) to gather thousands of narcoberries
whilst doing this you want to split stack to all on as much meat as possible constantly to get hundreds of spoiled meat
chuck this all into a few mortar and pestals and then go out to farm a buch of metal with an anky and argentavis army as well as flint and stone
then you smelt all that metal and use make sparkpowder and then gunpowder with the flint, stone and charcoal
THEN you make hundreds of simple rifle ammo and then make hundreds of tranq darts
now you use those to tame the dinos

So usually i just click the play single player option, i create a chraracter, i play on it, maybe i leave, come back a few hours later blah blah, and then once tomorrow comes, i try to do the same proccess i always do and all my settings are reset back to default, audio settings maxed out, day and night modifiers i put on in the advanced section, and it forces me to make a brand new character,

if you're talking about the island in the redwoods, it has existing structures that are part of the map. they're old run down buildings that are difficult to do anything with, but there's a castle wall at the top that's decent to build around

Net gun it, build large behemoth gates(3) door off two of them. Start shooting from between cracks. When it jumps, hide behind one of its foundations, for 5 seconds, then start shooting again while it's in air. Repeat process when it lands. Net gun again when available to shoot it again
