can some creatures spawn at lvls higher than 150 in single player? up till now the highest ive seen regular creature lvls go is 150, but i went exploring in the wyvern trench and saw a lvl 190

best thing to do is clear out the trench by either killing or leading them away before grabbing all the eggs

unless you have no wyverns yet then you should grab the easiest egg you can get reguardless of level

It depends on a lot of things @ember kraken my shadows on official have 22k hp 1.4k melee base with no levels I can beat easily and it also matters if you aren't on official. Good luck for the boss fight

Hay all. Working on a Boss Army:
2 of us on Yutys: 40 Health, 25 Damage. Mostly there for the roars.
And 18 Shadowmanes: 36 Health, 35 Damage.
We wrecked Megapith Gamma easily with no losses so tried Alpha and got wrecked ourselves.
My thought is needing better shadowmanes but finding wild 140s, I am just not seeing health/damage better than what I have. Keep trying?
Could try out mutations for better Health/Damage but seems like that would take forever? Never tried it.
Maybe drop the Yutys for leveled up damage Velos?

Well, you need better shadowmane for sure. 40+ for starter stats, and probably 60+ when mutated. You can drop the yutis for more shadowmane since you are using shadowmane

1. You’re gonna die. A LOT. dust yourself off, at this point you can replace everything in seconds. Even late game, you’re going to die sometimes. What matters is getting it all back.

2. Get a parasaur or literally anything you can ride asap. It makes life so much easier and reduces your chance of dying exponentially. Don’t walk on foot if you don’t have too.

3. Prepare for the future. Gathering Stone may seem like a one and done thing like Minecraft, but you’re gonna need a lot of it. Same for wood, meat, thatch, and Fiber.

4. I cannot stress this enough, stay away from the ocean, swamp, or redwoods until you have at least a crossbow and fur armor.

5. If it is bigger than you, or has disproportionately sized claws, and especially both, you are probably in danger that you can’t escape.

finding said high level dinos however is just luck and some maps have naturally higher level spawns

if you want to edit ini then you can get it on any map through auto engrams, but if you mean ingame then you'll need to transfer.

you will need to search up where the difficulty setting is in the game files though

I installed mods on steam (3--> S+ structures, the spyglass and play as dino) in steam they seem to be installed but in th game in the mainmenu they are still getting installed, nothing gets shown, nothing works. This is a bit longer now, I reinstalled the game today, the game itself works, just not the mods. How to fix it?

Hi, I'm playing on a private server with 2 of my friends on Fjordur. Were all around level 70-80 and have a permanent base as well as snow owls, maewings and argents. There's just so much to tame on Fjordur like wyverns, drakes, magmasaurs, shadowmanes and were not sure how to progress so whats a priority to start getting early on Fjordur around this level?

PVE btw, and hoping to get some stronger dinos for bosses

I mean, what's your goal? Because you can sort of play however you want. That's the nice part about Ark. There is no "do this, then this, then this, etc.".

What I would do is work on getting gigas and rexes. Rexes for broodmother, dragon, Megapithecus, and fenrir. And gigas for world bosses.

All depends on what you want to do. I recommend focusing on breeding out boss fighters. So go hunt them rex, theri, and/or megatherium. Then breed them up.

@sonic zenith Also start farming any and all Alphas you see for runes. And once you have decent gigas, start farming up world bosses to stack up on their individual runes. So you can start working on mini bosses to get trophies for Fenrir fight.

For now I'll work on getting a rex with high enough melee that I can mutate and breed with a high health to get some boss dinos. What pre-tame stat do you sugest I aim for? I have awesome spyglass so I can see the number of points the creature has
