Ive built a trap that works for mantis, Arthropluera, and anything else that can be kited into the trap. no fuss taming, no worries of other things interupting the tame and making you start over, can tame through the wall 😉 no bug repellent needed with the trap but ghille armor is still recommended. ive tamed an army of mantis and Arthropluera with my trap

Gigas are a shared spawn of alphas. if you dont see gigas on the fire island or a few spots on the NE areas "south of redwoods and west of redwoods" then that means u need to kill alphas as they are taking up its spawns

yep, there are only a few dinos that can't be transfered (certain varients, ice golem and chalk golem have issues. can't remember any others)

you dont need super dinos, just enough for like 25000-30000 hp, maybe like 1000md at least, and about 100 armor saddles

if you get lucky with a few tames, you can just breed those stats through and level the rest of the way

it's nice to at least start Ark on vanilla rates to get the hang of things

but after a few days you'll find that vanilla rates are complete ass

right around the time you have to spend about 10 hours tending to an egg to get it to hatch, or having to refill the trough time and time again because meat only stacks to 40 and tames go through that very very quickly

you find servers with x20 or x50 server rates which I think is kinda nuts because at that point just enable creative mode

just adjusting things to somewhere around x5 makes the game perfectly playable without having to spend hours doing shit and maintaining a challenge

no there are plenty of pve x50 servers i've seen

i just want to play the game without having to babysit a rex for a solid hour while taming it, or having to feed a baby giga every two minutes for like two days

When it is 1X i put all my carnivores away and i have petting zoo of all sorts of herivores and i think they get love in ark with how berries having a longer spoil timer than meat and they eat less often than carnivores. Herbivores, spoiled meat (mantis and arthropluera), and a few snakes that only eat eggs but not very often and i have plenty of dodo eggs to spare for titanboa ❤️

The average size of a bronto is 38 tons and 20 meters and average rex size is 13 meters and 10 tons it’s it physically impossible for a Rex to take down a fully grown brontosaurus the Rex is too small

no, it's mostly tranq arrows, tranq darts and variants of darts that can stun (though it depends on the dino you want to tame, some are passive fed by hand, and others require unique taming)

If they meshed, they are gone for good. They will just be floating towards the bottom of the map. And if an admin flys close to them, they will mesh fully and die. So it's a lost cause.

You'll just have to tame some new ones or breed out more if you have breeders

I'd suggest if you own a PC, host a dedicated through win10 (signed into another xbox account) and both of you join on xbox.
it'll fix most of the non-dedi issues, and you can backup your saves. plus your xbox crashing won't cause any issues.

difficulty does change boss difficulty, the bonus you get from the extra levels helps more tho.
can always change the difficulty lower when you are doing a boss.

CAN ANYONE HELP: whenever i try to join any server being official or unofficial i keep getting "connection failure you have been kicked by battleye reason client not responding" and after i wait a couple minutes it goes to another error "joining failed connection timeout", i have tried resetting router, deleting battleye, verifying game integrity multiple times and adding the various battleye files to be allowed past the firewall but nothing works, the only thing similar to this that i could find online was a problem where there were too many mods and it just downloaded them in the background of the error message then it worked, but i am not trying to download any mods i can even join official.

im having a really hard time loading my saves when i enable mods and after a ton of troubleshooting i still have no idea why
i play ark from an exteral SSD and it runs better then when i played it from my laptops internal drive so I'm wondering if thats why?? ive tried downloading the mods to my internal drive and later my external drive but everytime i try to load a save it freezes or crashes
it doesnt matter what mod i use, it happens every time
