It does add all of the dlc under one price, but that is simply poor math, because instead of around 100 for both games and all the original dlc costs, it's now 120 most likely just to buy the games, or more for both games if they decide to charge 70 or more for ark 2. Carcha taming is a bit unpredictable because it depends on how many creatures you kill, so if you’re lucky and get to kill a cluster of dinos you get a lot of % but if there are no dinos around, it could take a while. And that might mean you’re gonna have to trap it again and befriend it again. If you’re playing on official, 3x is on right now. Yesterday I tamed a 95 in about 10 minutes.

I still can´t understand how people are willing to pay for the same game they already owned, only because WC wanted to make it prettier and polished and finally fix the bugs (we hope). For me is the same as my wife decided to do a plastic operation and then said to me that the past 22 years count for nothing and have to start everything from scratch since 1st date. For me when Ark 1 dies it dies, not paying for the same sh*t I already own just because they wanted to make it pretty and throw some sand in to players eyes because of Ark 2 constant delays.

This is an honest take on the whole thing, ASE was going to come to an end eventually, most people thought when Ark 2 dropped the game was dead. Instead we are getting an much needed update to an aging game and for people claiming that the creature pathing and AI is a minor change they have no clue what goes in to that. It is a major change to bring Ark up to date in modern gameplay and I am sure it is not the only one. What I disagree with was the premature announcement that it would be a free update then going back on that. It should not have been announced for starters, and once it was it should have been honored. While I am not happy with the change I also know development is hell and the people doing the work deserve to be paid for it, and it looks to be committing to Ark being around for a long time yet with new content so I will pay for it again.

Believe me if you have ever done development (I have) shit happens sometimes unforeseen issues crop up at the last second, and UE5 was in Beta until last April, it takes a lot longer than a year to fully understand every change they made from unreal 4.7 to 5, and Ark was made in Unreal 4.5. There is a huge amount of time you lose just getting to learn unreal. You also have issues of unreal itself having bugs that had to be patched and addressed that slow anything trying to use it
