I did that, and I saw that the button that you click the commands you type in said "request admin". Do I just type in the password into where you type the commands at.

You can certainly try it. I play on Steam; where i just add myself as an admin before starting a server which doesnt require admin passwords. Im not familiar with the GPortal admin/command stuff unfortunately.

right, you can enter the game as admin and issue the commands
or there should be a way thru your host to send rcon commnad to the server directly

so you open steam, click ark, then check in the main window should be link to the dlc's , they wouldnt add when i just clicked them thru the steam app's menu... but it worked when it did it thru the site

i had to go thru the steam site to get them to add. but that was in my case,, i thinnk its some bug

There are different ways to knock a dino out. Some you can club in the head a few times and they're out, others you need tranq darts for

Hmm, I'd suggest a Moschops, which are passive tames

You walk up to them and it tells you what to feed them

Parasaurs are another early tame, for them, craft a bola, club them in the head with a club until they knock out

im lost on mutation stacking i have the 20+ female rexes at low level stats and my male with good attack/hp, so now im looking for babies that have good attack+hp, and mutation in attack or hp to replace the current male?

Tame a bunch of high level rexes.

Breed them and combine the best stats. Such as if dad has better health and mom has better melee, you breed them until they pop a baby with both the good health and melee. You may have to do a lot of this and it'll take a stupid amount of time on official rates.

Once you get a rex with all of the desired stats, breed it until you have a bunch of females and one male with those same stats. They should all be the same level. Do not keep any mutated babies at this point.

You should be using an incubator. This way you can tell how many points is in each stat. If you breed two of your best stat rexes together (who MUST have the same stats!) the baby will always come out with those stats unless it mutates. Take note of those numbers.

Now you breed. All those females to that one male. Again, they should ALL have identical stats and they should ALL have the same level.

Once you get a mutated baby, you will know right away because the incubator will tell you so. And since you keep track of the original stats, you can see which stat is higher from the mutation. A mutation will add two points to a stat, thus two levels.

Once you get the desired mutation, if it is a male, it replaces your previous, un-mutated male. Keep your previous male, because - and this works at any point down the mutation line - if a female pops with the mutation you need, you breed it back to the original male until it throws a male baby with her mutated stat.

And then... you keep going on like that. If OG breeding group is level 250, then the first mutated baby will be 252. You breed the 252 to the 250 females. When another mutation happens, the baby will be level 254. And so on and so forth.

I had Ark perfformance issues once , somehow , i had 100 cpu ussage. I removed my AVG anti virus and now the game runs fine , cpu 100% issue went away. Maybe check that you dont have weird free apps in your pc. I learned that the hard way.

So I remember seeing something about them closing the game and then reopening a newer version that was more expensive or at least not free on steam.

Even though this is more of a April 17th question, I was just wondering that If I wanted to play Ark now is it worth buying it or should I just wait for the newer version to come out and buy it then.

@woven oracle Ark is already 10 years old, WildCard has shown it's contempt for it's players, Survival evolved is being wiped so they can bundle a remastered game we like with a game that doesn't matter all to boost sales with no care shown for the established player base... with just these few things in mind... When survival servers go down, WC will have lost my business.

If you're just after the trophy and don't care about doing it the hard way, I recommend going to single player.
Activate admin commands and input,
GiveAllExplorerNotes
GiveCreativeMode
DoTame
Then it's just a matter of flying around the map spamming "DoTame" on all the dinos you need while checking your Explorer notes for the ticked box, any that you can't find you can find their spawn command on their Wikipedia page for e.g. cheat summon Mammoth_Character_BP_C for the mammoth
