Hmm, I know there’s stuff you can do with moving the save files so you can start fresh without deleting the old one.
Would be very weird for your pc to just be arbitrarily deleting files

You can use dododex with your servers settings and your longneck to get an estimate. My best guess is that it'll take roughly 200 darts and 25 prime meat over an hour

Once you pick the egg up yes...same as when on a drake. I find it best to have a hawk on me, set a sleeping bag down at a nest, pod the flyer up quick, grab egg and travel via sleeping bag. Hawk will drop the egg to you

i do believe dedicated servers and non dedicated share the same folder ?, sp has its own folder on your machine, officials and non officials are server side so no worries about them

There are multiple ways to do this. You can use a dedicated server (recommended but can be expensive). You can invite your friend to a nondedicated server using the same world. Or you can save the current world found in the Saved folder into a different location

You literally spawn in gen2 with “cheat fly” being active, it is the easiest map to get out of, especially because there are terminals all over the place, and you can even track the nearest ones. It has about 0 survival game elements

The official servers play have the most 70+ lvl dinos and the levels g up by 5 each time up to 150

on my local server, which has default settings has much smaller lvl dinos >50 and the levels go up by 1 or so

I saw an admin impliment a really neat feature on Ab. They set up a little shop (nothing super fancy) and sold a "Get out of Ab" beacon for 10 shop points. The beacon can be purchased and summoned anywhere, and points are just accumulated automatically over time.

I used the domination rexes because they're immune to the giga bleed, although I do have some strong rexes that probably could have done the job as well but with more casualties

Wondering what everyone has their dino count set on? I'm on single player pve btw. Mine is currently set at 0.5. My ark seems too empty, but I don't want to mess with anything until I ask around about it.

Preventing hibernation fixes resource and dino respawn bugs, and allows buff-based mods (that apply their mods only in specific circumstances) to work, allows the S+ dino finder to work properly, and I do highly recommend running with the launch paramater. But I do have to warn that if you later re-enable hibernation (remove the launch option), it can cause crashes. This seems to be able to be fixed by launching with certain launch params and dinowiping, but I've not run any save like that for an extended amount of time so I can't say if it's 100% effective in the long term or not. You'll need to add it to the steam launch paramaters- Right click on ark on steam, properties. Add exactly this- Hyphen included- -preventhibernation
It also increases ram usage quite a bit, but is very much worthwhile```
