yo guys, I have a problem, some while ago we've had a server (undedicated), we played there a lot, had a lot of fun etc. my friend had to unistall steam (and all other games including the ARK) and the server wasn't there anymore... We cant find it and its bit sad, Does anyone know what to do? :D We can talk about it in vc if you would like to

Undedi servers get deleted if ark is uninstalled. There's no way (that I'm aware of) to get it back

Don't listen to the guy, the game is great alone if you like the premise

And the game is only addicting on PvP since you can get raided at any time and u gotta waste many hours to grow big

The game doesn't run poorly (kind of), problem is when it tries to render big structures it has some big frame freezes

Which is what will happen on online servers

It has a lot of content though, so if you are gonna enjoy it on singleplayer im sure you'll have a great time, though I would buy it on a big sale, dlcs cost too much

I would recommend starting out on gen 2, crystsal isles, fjordur, svartalfheim (PC only) or lost island. Those maps got the best things to start out.
