If you’re looking to mutation stack there’s a few steps
1: Tame a male and female
2: Breed these two together until you have a male and female with the exact same stats. Level and values will match.
3: discard all spares except the matched pair.
4:breed matched pair discarding males and keeping females, discard any females that get mutations, add the females to this step and continue
5:once you have all the females for your line continue to breed your male with all your clean females until you get a desirable mutation. If mutation is on a male replace current male. Do not get rid of the first male though. If you get the mutation on a female you will breed her with the first unmutated male of your line until you produce a male with that mutation.

Crafting and combat. I usually save up building blocks (stone wall, stone foundation, stone ceiling) and tranqs (narcotics / tranq. darts / tranq arrows) for when I have 1-2 explorer notes stacked. If you do that you'll level very fast.

Eventually it doesn't mean anything. It's just gatekeeping engrams, therefore limiting what you can do. It's probably good to play the game with standard settings for a while to get the feeling for it.

Depends on your play style, I guess. For me, I like to use 0.25x and some other config changes because the game is stupid easy. I can beat lots of bosses without dinos, I can get to level 60 in minutes upon spawning. It's interesting to see how new players interact with the game

Long ago, my server had a rotating maps system, and one month the map rotated to ragnarok

I was so hype to lay siege to the castle once I heard it was infested by extremely high level bats and spiders, to fight the monsters and claim it for my tribe's own. Only to find out that by the time I could log in that day, one of them had already done it before i could get there
