Okay that's an element vein

When the event triggers hordes of corrupted creatures are going to rush in to try to destroy all the pillars

Your objective is to kill all of them and protect as many pillars as you possibly can, and at bare minimum the really big one in the center

#

Do the successfully and after you kill all of the corrupted you can Harvest all surviving pillars for element

#

It's the primary way you get it in extinction and it can result in an absolute crap load

#

The vein's health indicates difficulty- 10k is easy, 25k is medium, 50k is hard. Harder veins spawn more dangerous enemies but grant much more element
