Welp this is some interesting discovery seeing as this creature just running about in the heat of the desert I wonder what other crazy creatures I'll be finding around here is.. from my best guess there's no telling what's out there next but recently after taming the fellow I had to kill a pack of raptors hunting about around my little "shack" damned things think they own my territory for god sakes these reptiles gonna be a problem..

on a sidenote got attacked by a rex so I had to build a new shack and had to well.. lead it away but on a few troubles of getting it away I discovered some eerie new stuff.. I was killed but.. woke up again? as if even though I had died i was brought back? idk.. this place gets more crazier the more i live on this desert.. maybe i should start writing down some notes more often about this crazy hellhole..

Lokiceratops design for an upcoming Ark vote, it’s abilities will feature magnetic based abilities such as being able to push and pull creatures, disrupt electronics (potentially tek), deflect bullets, and even collect bullets in a magnetic field and expel them back at the enemy. In addition to that it’s on par with Yutys and Amargas in terms of overall health and strength.

Yes although in game the frill will be symmetrical, the original specimen of Lokiceratops is highly asymmetrical but in life many individuals would have been symmetrical. I might actually add in a feature where you can shave off the horns for keratin and maybe grow back wonky giving them an asymmetric look but I haven’t decided yet.

Ok. I saw an interview of either someone hwo was part of the team that discovered it, or specializes in that specific part of the ceritopsian tree. He thought that it was more likely that all were asymmetrical, rather than the one specimen we have is the anomaly. Either way I think I’d be in good to have some sort of recognition to the fossil

I really doubt an entire genus would be fully asymmetric especially if it’s a ceratopsian, we have specimens of Styracosaurus with both symmetrical and asymmetrical features so while asymmetry is surprisingly common in ceratopsians it wasn’t the default condition. Additionally we have one Lokiceratops skull so until scientists find more we won’t know entirely.

ASE Extinction's wasteland just felt boring, and not in a good way.
Though I'd rather this then Scorched Earth 2.0.

Compared to the original volcanic look. This looked inferior to me.
ARK's world isn't suppose to be realistic, nor even believable. It's far from either. It's about a alien metal that's also a sentient hivemind that can warp reality. So for them to choose a more realistic looking wasteland instead of sticking with the concept arts, where the wasteland looked more alien is a pity in an artistical perspective for me.
