My server has crashed twice in 3 years. Both times due to mod bugs. My client has crashed 3 times. Twice to invetory once to an over spawn of bees. I have never had lag, never had any of the issues associated with that. I have experienced almost no bugs at all.

only things i can think of thats different between unofficial and official is astraeos not crashing (but still trash), lower ping due to lower playercount and defense outposts spawning which i still dont understand why they arnt spawning on official but do on unofficial. its not due to structures since they were actually spawning in some locations with pillars on them till wildcard did their 2nd patch to increase the spawns

I think I've fixed it. On servers with custom experience ramps or singleplayer settings (this is also a custom ramp) the level cap is level 60 for some reason. Basically the level cap is reduced by 150 levels or something. You can add levels to the end of the ramp and that will add the levels again. So if you add 45 levels (just make them 9999999<level> experience so you can never reasonably reach them) to the end of the ramp, the cap will become 60+45 = 105, which is back to the original. I reckon ascensions still work but I haven't tested.

Hunt spinos with your gene scanner if you're staying on LC. Otherwise go over to Astraeos or Extinction and kill a couple corrupted creatures from an OSD. It only takes 2-4 corrupted wyverns to get your 75 levels.
