I do kind of wish they went with some other taming method for Ossidon. Having a snow creature that likes to spawn on high mountains, in areas with big dinos and very few small dinos, tons of cliffs so you have to lead it thirty miles away to even find an area to make taming it in bearable... just can't say I'm a fan of that kind of method

Doesn't need to be KO. I just think it's sort of bad design to have them aggro on so much, be in areas where Purlovia, Yuty, etc love to pop up. Have them NEED small dinos. And because they don't like traps, they basically make it's ball break on almost anything, that rock might be a bit too big, oops your boulder is gone.

They are an easy tame. Their mechanic is not hard. Their mechanic is RNG based. Being on PvP where you can drag mobs to the area makes it easier. Not being solo also makes it easier. There's nothing challenging about the mechanic. It's just annoying.

Whether I main the map or not depends heavily on if WildCard fixes the performance of the map. Currently there is -countless- times per day where there's 10+ seconds of lag, back to back. (Official PvE, even with 50 on, lag.)

What I DO know is that this is the most lag I've ever seen on ASA, Aberration's lag wasn't even this bad, HOWEVER the time it took to load a base at that point was considerably worse.

I played official pvp for nearly a month on ASE. Wasn't my thing. Joining in late, especially on a map where transfers are open, is a recipe for disaster. 😂 My first three weeks... only one single day did my base survive the night. Outside of that day, I had to punch trees every time I logged in and start over. Couldn't learn squat outside of "what small dino can I tame with almost nothing"

I'd argue that hilariously Lost Colony is already a "rough" map to do much of anything on from scratch. It seemed like it was designed for you to already have good stuff to really do much of anything on it. Gamma missions for example look like a lot more work than a Gamma mission from Extinction.
