In this case, there's not really too much that can be done about it without a reimagining of building altogether.

Like, you could probably work out a kind of system like NMS has where you need a base computer to begin your claim, and it's got to be reasonably clear of others' bases online. But it limits your build parts, and requires base uploads regularly for them to render properly.

After a rep wiped my Ark cluster and reloaded very old backups in direct contradiction of a pledge to inform me of what needed to be changed before going ahead and changing it, my payment method ran into processing issues and rather than disclose to me what those issues were, simply whitelisted my payment method so as to circumvent whatever scrutiny was setting it off in the first place.

Wasn't a good time. Can't recommend it as a result. Hope this helps.

Hey I have started hosting my own unnofficial server with two maps.

My question/problem is that on the server I used to play I could select the other map from the terminal when I wanted to switch and then just switch maps. I didnt have to upload any items or my character I just switched maps seemlessly.

On my server I have to upload my items one at a time and i have to upload my character then come out of the game choose the new map download the character old school.

I want to be able to switch seemlessly like the server i was playing. Is it a setting?

Also when i return to my main server I am still in my tribe but it doesnt let me select any beds to spawn in.

What am i doing wrong. I have linked the maps with the cluster ID

Of the maps I've loaded on my cluster, it's by far the most stable and least resource hungry.

Kind of, but only if you're unprepared. Extinction is one of the few maps where all the bosses are in the overworld. That means you can bring 500 carchas to the main boss fight if you want.

Extinction for sure, IDR if anywhere else -- Fjordur had them but IDK what Fjordur will have this time around.

Getting the good crystals involves also having a snow owl around to drop poop close enough for the gachas to pick up and pack away. Then you want to make sure the gachas' crafting skill is at 160% or so. More than that's a waste, less than that fails to guarantee a full crystal, which affects loot quality chances. 📜
