I think the most usage I see on a map is like 12gb of ram

I see, you should check with support on your rental if it exists or not. It’s not uncommon to have a tab with a bunch of character only backups separate from the world that you can click like 3 buttons and recover a character without even stopping the server or rolling it back.

It’s a common bug so it’s been kind of normalized lol

Characters and world saves are stored separately so they shouldn’t have to be rolled back together
