Astraeos is just too easy to farm on, so it's mega popular with the crowd who mass clone or produce tek in bulk to sell - all against CoC, but hard to prove and no pro-active enforcement of the CoC

We had one tribe on ours who spammed 50+ zeppelins just to keep the server capped, then they'd destroy a couple when they needed to pop babies out. That got reported and actioned, but only to the extent of an admin deleting the zeppelins - they've almost certainly found a less obvious way of continuing the practice by now.

On official its over abused. To many structures too many people doing osds and afking causing lag on server, tons of cloners, not to mentiin nitrado servers are not exactly great servers. I did read Dollies explanation regarding Astraeos crashes, ofc we all player have to take resposibilitys for server-healthy game play. I have sugestion how to make it esier. Poded dinos- Unpoded dinos would eat 2x or 3x more and have 50% decay timer while poded gain 50% shorter mate cooldown. Structur limit- change from per area (atm i can build 5500 stuctures, move 50meters and build 5500) to server limit. Sorry for my bad english.

I'm in agreement with the dino limit (should be reduced to probably 150), and the cloner limit (maybe 10 per tribe?).

The building limit is already ridiculously low at 5,500 (we now have all these lovely new building parts to make beautiful builds, but can rarely make good use of them due to the structure limit) when it used to be 12,500 on ASE (PC), I'd be OK with it staying at 5500 but for the radius to be doubled or more.

Large ceilings & foundations would also really help here to reduce structure count.

IMO, the structure problem isn't so much bases, it's the huge swathes of pillars & foundations being used for land claim, often by people who have no base and just claimed land to try and sell it, they only ever come on to refresh timers.

You're seeing it wrong, IIRC the server limit is 12500 tames, this is NOT connected to the number of tribes/players on the server

Tame cap is i belive what he said. That is max tsmes allowed which is why rag hits cap so often. Lots of tribes breeding on weekends . You cant split between potential tribes because even if server limit is 70 users at one time the potential of tribes can literally be hundreds.

Ark: Survival Ascended is their role in defending against meshers. Railguns are one of the only weapons in the game that can hit players or dinos hiding inside terrain or exploiting mesh spots, since their shots can penetrate structures and map geometry. Without them, tribes have very few options to deal with cheaters abusing the mesh, which can lead to bases being raided unfairly or tames being killed from spots that can’t normally be countered. By reintroducing railguns, players would once again have a tool to expose and punish meshers, discouraging exploit abuse and giving legit tribes a fairer chance to defend their bases. that is a valid concern but overall you can just rent your own server or run it on your own machine. with as buggy as this game is, you have a higher risk of data loss on official and having no help due to wildcard being useless for support, than you do the odds of an active unofficial community disappearing though.
