It has a single player mode. There's also a tethered mode where you can host a session with your friends as long as they stay near you. Then there are official servers and unofficial servers. Official servers are mostly crossplay with the exception of Windows version on PVP I think.

Depends on how in depth the game is and how sophisticated it is beyond other games. If it’s the closest to a simulation you’re going to get a lot of people feeling like they get more for their money and invest their time into seeing what they can do in that worlds environment.

Now when I log in I can’t see anything in my storage, and I can’t see anything new in my inventory. I can see what was in my inventory before the mod but that’s it.
