It's possible to start a timelapse, record some brush strokes, stop and export the timelapse, then start a new timelapse (clearing the memory of the old one) if your computer can't hold the entire timelapse in memory. Then you can stitch each of the short recordings together after you've collected all of them.

My tablet couldn't handle more than a couple hundred brush strokes at a time either :(

Lumi did a fab job of tweaking with an Eye in the center rather then the traditional winged sun. Though the idea I initially had was some Solar Rays radiating out from around the eye like so.
But I think the design she came up with works because it's a lot less cluttered.
