Assail annoys me because it has a disappearing act around armor, BB is... BB, and smite turns the game off both for the enemies and you because you're pretty locked in once using it if you want to keep enemies stunned (and waiting for spread is annoying)

Decided to throw a gun-psyker build together.
I killed a Nurgle blessed Plague Ogryn in 26 seconds with my recon lasgun, then 3v1'd a pack of crushers with my dueling sword and WON... only to go down to a random poxwalker smacking me in the back because I tunnel visioned on a rager that was marked by my disrupt destiny.
for added context, I was fighting the plague ogryn alone because the zealot accidentally hit a barrel and blew themself and the ogryn off the bridge, and the veteran went down earlier because a mutie grabbed them and threw them into a daemonhost.

Pairing it with Mettle is pretty solid for massive toughness regen. Some crit chance with either Scriers or Warp Nexus will help a lot. You can get toughness back with ease and stunlock pretty much any elite pack and delete hordes
