Things to write down and tackle first would be headshot and bodyshot damage of every light and heavy without talents, blessings, or perks interfering. That means getting a copy of each weapon, with the proper dump, and upgrading it to 500 without consecrating it.

Oh, and tacking onto the breakpoint issue will be purge the unclean, as that messes with horde clear bps.

Its god roll was like frenzy headstone, but that doesn't compare to the ad clear potential that volatile rounds had at all.

Like stasis has some pretty good clear potential if you can make a lot of crystals, the problem with weapons is that headstone trades a perk slot that could boost your damage for one single crystal, and its size, and thereby, damage, is dependent on the enemy you kill with it. Minors make little crystals, majors make normal sized ones, champions make big ones (if you don't use a finisher like normal people do).

If you like the spectrum of mobility finesse weapons, you'll likely enjoy the duelling sword. You won't have the same level of mobility compared to a knife, but its range and finesse are the biggest highlights of the family especially when you're really experienced with them.

I quite like it on stealth builds since you can use it to setup and preposition to get the best coverage. Take blaze away and flak at minimum, I like to take crit chance and everlasting flame along with it. Benefits well from Blazing Piety because of the flamer's fantastic crit synergy.

Remember its ammo is quite limited if you overuse it

i think what needs to happen is the other forms of CDR need to be made much better (martyrs purpose, pious cutthroat) to allow chastise to help make up for the poor mobility

Just the nature of pubs in these games. Under melee pressure, unless they are communicating (or the unicorn pub team that is just on the exact same wavelength) they will dissolve into four individuals kiting in the direction of fewest local enemies—which is inevitably "away from players" because melee enemies move toward players. This is why people who know full well that they need to stick together still end up alone in those situations.

If you alone can avoid doing that, then at least you have two people still together.

Relic Sword is great. Slowish and low mobility but actually has the power to justify it. Also looks cool af and the combos are very satisfying once you have them down.

Dueling Sword (the same one that used to be Psyker exclusive) is now on Zealot and Vet and is extremely overpowered. The specific circumstances of Havoc mode conspire to make it even more overpowered than that, relative to most other weapons

Relic Blade really enjoys attack speed from Martyrdom or IJ combined with FOTF and Invocation of Death. The Mk10 can end up being pretty fast and effective just spamming lights.

Dueling Sword Mk4 is a single target specialist. Mk5 is more focused on horde clear (and has hilariously long dodges too) but gives up the high damaging heavy thrust attacks entirely. Barely used it myself so can't give much advice beyond that. Mk2 is a hybrid, still not great into hordes but better than Mk4 while still being great against single target. Light-Heavy loop for hordes, Heavy-Special loop for single target.

As the others before have said, special sniper, but be aware that for whatever reason, fatshark removed the bleed from puncture being able to proc scourge, so take that into account before you make bleed builds with it.

I run puncture and run n gun with cara elites because it just shits on anything flak, unarmored, or maniac to begin with, so I might as well be able to dumpster crushers with it, too.

No, not martyr with evisc. The mobility is terrible and you don't have the safety net of having an actual good, damaging moveset like relic blade does. You want to use IJ.

Inexorable Judgment, you may also know it as momentum. It's the right side keystone. Buffs your dodges quite a bit.

IJ is 1% attack speed per stack, and fotf is another 20%, so you're looking at 35% right there.

inexorable judgement tends to be preferred more for its overall buffs but if your weapon is centered around critting (like with, say, the relic blade or anything else with finesse for a stat) you can find use in blazing
that and the ability cooldown reduction when you pair it with invocation of death I think is the name of the talent (cooldown reduction on crit)

Rashad Combat Axe has Finesse as well--specifically for Attack Speed, if memory serves me right.
