"Worth mentioning that the other two marks arent bad either. The IX is definitely superior but yuo can easily make the other two marks work as long as you have headtaker III or IV. I'd take a super well statted VII over a badly statted IX, though a decent IX with a good headtaker and any other blessing will generally be the most effective option."

It's entirely random. I spent over 300 hours trying to get tier 4 power cycler. Others got it in 3 weapons. You are more likely to get a tier 4 when consecrating to orange rather than blue though. I was vendoring anything below 360+ base weapon rating.
What's your class, loadout, and build?
zealot, eviscerator and bolt gun, went with like support build to replenish health and get rid of corruption tought it might help when things get bad but I would love some hints on different build cuz mine is obviously not working 😂 😅
In my experience, at least one Ogryn is extremely helpful either for taunt aggro control or for damage against bosses with stubbers/ripper guns. VoC Veterans are very helpful as the boss knockdown buys you additional seconds to keep attacking bosses without them reacting with knockbacks. In general the fight demands specific types of builds where everyone on the team is capable of both contributing to boss dps and is able to kill elites quickly on their own without relying on someone else. Your loadout will want one ranged weapon capable of high fire rate burst damage to bring down Rinda's shield and a strong melee weapon for her brother's that can also kill elites quickly.
You can tell if a particular group has a chance at the fight or not by looking at if they can get to the tox gas phase within one window of the twins' shield being disabled. If they can't deal enough damage for the phase transition, it's unlikely they have the dps to not die by attrition against the spawn waves of elites etc.
Rinda will aggro to whomever deals enough damage to her shield, the same as Rodin. Rinda will charge across the arena to close distance, so you can use that behavior to pull her off of someone that may need breathing room. Ideally the two people handling Rinda should have ranged weapons capable of bursting her shield down in a reliable manner since melee against her will be inconsistent due to her moveset and knockbacks.
The eviscerator is a good choice for Zealot.
Not sure about the boltgun's performance.
I'd recommend a fury zealot rather than relic.
Relic zealots need to really know when to time the relic to not be deadweight when dps is what's needed.
Most of the ones I encountered did not use it effectively.

Having a charge in your pocket with fury lets you be more flexible and close distance faster which can matter with specific targets and if bosses have shields that are down.
Also lets you cross minefields while clearing them without wasting time/risking yourself.

The random group I cleared with had a relic zealot. It was just impressive since despite having extremely low damage, it never felt like he was performing poorly during the fight. Likely because his timing and positioning was perfect for when he was needed.
well thats the point I dont know if I am using it right, I use it for opening so my team can get the damage done while the target is staggered and also help them by healing their toughness
But that's rare in general in my experience.

Yeah in my experience with hardmode, the relic was best used to crowd control the elites rather than the bosses.
Rinda takes x2 melee damage to her shield while Rodin takes x3 melee damage to his shield.
Both take only x1 ranged damage to their shields. Though with Rinda using ranged to break her shields is more efficient than dealing with her melee patterns.
And both take x2 melee damage to their HP.
So once their shields are down, it's crucial to be meleeing them.

As every time one of them takes 25% damage (I think), they transition to the tox gas phase.
The biggest threat is usually being bullied out of position by ragers, crushers, and maulers forcing players apart.
Hence why aggro via Ogryns and CC via relic or VoC is so useful.

If for example a weapon by default does more damage to infested(pressing E to view attack breakdowns) should i then perk it for +25% dmg to infested or do i try to cover up its weakest instead?(whatever that may be)
Most weapons will not need or want +damage against infested to reach breakpoints. It's easier to evaluate on a weapon to weapon within a class basis than raw damage numbers alone.

I can't recall seeing many, if any zealots running it. My impression is that it'd be decent if a bit slow.
As long as it's capable of dispatching elites in a timely manner, it should work fine with a complementary ranged weapon for the niche I mentioned earlier.
I know it suffers from slow and poor horde clear as it staggers and knocks poxwalkers around rather than killing them.
And that low TTK may just be too sluggish for the killing pace Twins hardmode demands.
are there any guides on where/how to get gear? i haven't played since release and not really sure how i should start working towards a good weapon
There's really only a couple ways to "farm" for gear.
Buy copies of gray weapons from Brunt's Armory -> waste roughly 500k-1 million dockets -> get at best 2 or 3 weapons above a 360+ base rating that have a stat distribution that isn't garbage -> consecrate them at Hadron -> watch them get bricked by Hadron -> run out of plasteel -> run missions -> repeat
Check the rotating shop at the Armory Requisiton or Melk's and hope there's something viable or a tier 4 blessing worth extracting.
Weapon modification at Hadron's now allows you to modify 2 out of the 4 slots on a weapon. Once those slots are modified, you can modify them an infinite number of times but the other 2 slots are permanently locked to what they were. So that means you can either change 2 perks, 2 blessings, or 1 of each.

When you earn a blessing of a specific tier, it's added to your blessing stickerbook and can be reapplied an infinite number of times to any weapon within the same weapon family you earned it from.
All Kantrael Infantry Lasguns or all Accatran Recon lasguns for example.
Psyker staves are the only exception.

Ideally using fury to charge into them. Shotgunners are one of the top run enders in Twins.

get to a kinda high spot that has enemies climbing up and arc it so that it explodes off the edge

Maelstrom is harder. Some people don't care what they're queued into and just want the +%s to crafting resources to deal with the heavy grind the game has.
Maelstrom doesn't affect the spawn ratios of crafting resources either.

That's been my experience thus far using Hammer, sadly. Just enough horde there to make CC useful, but also enough to make charged attacks too cumbersome. Not enough DPS for the main task, essentially. The build I ran did make me feel immortal though.
Anyone got Zealot meta build for beating up the Karnak Twins? From what I read above, Evisc/Knife seems like the play. I've got more knife-play experience, so I guess I'm partial to that.
Do auric maelstrom mission give more plasteel?
Crafting resource spawn ratios are solely determined by the difficulty level such as Heresy or Damnation.
Malestrom/Auric modifiers have no effect.

Crafting seems like crazy grind to get proper blessings
Each blessing you earn unlocks it for that family of guns in your account.
For example, sacrificing a graia braced autogun will unlock it for all braced autoguns.

Don't know what the problem is seeing as they both have the same starting weapon (I think) but Zealot has straight up higher base stats so I think its a problem on your end, unless 2.5% crit chance is the deciding factor

You'll get 100% crit chance just by waiting for about 2 seconds. And with Deadly Accurate. That's up to 100% crit weak spot damage bonus that you'll do
Though generally if you need to hurry. 3-6 stacks is already a high enough chance for you to get a crit

Go to melee and hit the weak spot, they take more damage on melee hits. Compared to range. And learn to block and dodge its attacks when its aggro'ed towards you.

Been having frequent Error 2001 2014 2004 3013 after the update? If you have tried everything else (Verifying files, restarting your router, etc) and nothing has helped, delete the game completely. and delete the folder in appdata before a reinstall.

If you're ok with an even lower dodge count than the already low dodge on pswords sure.
That mobility will be extremely painful.
Supercharge isn't all that useful on the psword but you can use it if you want. I'd personally swap it to Brutal Momentum. Block efficiency to flak or carapace.

The columnus already performs really well even without optimal blessings. Though neither of your current blessings are that good either.

If so, then +maniac would be better.
I figured since it has less flak dmg compared to maniac (215 to 331), that a better blessing would be better
dum dum and stripped isnt bad when I just sorta run into crowds with my ult
It's really just that the optimal blessings are mostly boosting or relying on close range damage, which is currently set to a distance of 8m and is the same distance to which your melee will reach in game.
and that would help me run out of gunner hordes (max mobility and sprint cost reduction helps with that kind of playstyle)
Stripped down isn't awful, as a utility pick it works well.
Especially when combined with veteran talents on the right side.

The most effective i see the columnus being is on veteran, since their ammo return aura can give back more ammo than it spends killing elites, and you barely need to even pick up an ammo pack the entire mission as long as you use the gun solely as an elite deleter

Yeah on Zealot the columnus won't have as much mileage.
If I cancel the saw animation early, it still applies max bleed stacks
so I can tag them with a melee headshot, and then the bleed will kill them off
It's still a fine gun, I'd change sustained fire to dumdum and call that good

but it already hits pretty hard with just a charged heavy to the head

I'm trying to get at least one good roll of each weapon on my Zealot, I unfortunately kinda burned through my plasteel reserve trying to get some good revolvers and stuff
so is power maul...that thing trivializes hordes of armored units
you can light special so frequently, it stunlocks them pretty much forever
I only recently got a god roll crusher, it's a thing of beauty
it's been great for malestroms that spawn them a lot
but I've been getting bored of the same setups, so I started getting more guns and melees to vary up stuff

It has that forward lunge with its heavies that feels so juicy to use

And the recent updates seem to have caused some issues.
frames have hiccups during gameplay now
dunno what they did, but it's not as smooth as before, it's already gotten me killed a few times when too many things are on the screen now

I unapologatetically use spider sense mod now to deal with it
There's also an animation bug with the plasma gun related to server ticks/lag where it will not play its firing animation and provides no feedback, even though the game counts it as having fired.
The amount of stealth pox bursters its snuffed out, let alone silent hounds and trappers just became obnoxious
and I swear to god, it's shown a pox burster spawn behind me twice now

I will generally prioritize the perks that raise the lower values
IAGs deal good maniac damage, so I don't get too concerned with raising maniac damage even more
Though there's a case to be made for capitalizing on the bigger damage it deals to maniac to make a +maniac even better
Honestly, it's already showing some luster
stripped down is letting me run head first into packs of reapers and heavy gunners, and just popping ult scot free to lock them down

I solved server's lag issue on weekends when server overloads, just switch server by clicking matchmaking. Even Fatshark didn't suggest this, but suggested refund.

Is there an explanation of the twins fight available anywhere?
You absolutely destroy two twins. There

the gist is that the twins have a shield layer and a health layer and they'll heal each other if you only focus one
if you destroy shields of both twins at the same time, they get stunned, giving you ample time to dmg their health. their shields don't regen, so take your time whittling both down piece by piece
during a special event when lights go out, run to a lit up corner of the arena so you avoid the gas
also make sure to keep up with the ranged twin's grenade spam and proc them on purpose to clear the room
once one twin dies, the other one gets enraged, the melee twin will be harder to defeat than the ranged one from what I've heard online
so plan this all out in advance and you're good to go
also don't die to rager + mauler spam

Toughness regen speed is no longer desired on curios, especially not on martyrdom chastiselot because it requires coherency to be effective and when you dive you will almost always be just out of coherency
Curio ideal perks are flat toughness / HP + gunner or sniper resist 20 + stamina regen
Thammer play also really wants Thy Wrath be Swift so you do not get staggered out of your special heavies
or staggered in general
since TWBS offers both melee and also ranged stun immunity (but the latter is not stated in the tooltip) and is pretty much a compulsory keystone on zealot unless you are 2000 hours deep mega pro or just cocky af
You can free up 3 points from the right side of the tree since thammer is not a crit weapon and spend those points into Holy Revenant / Until Death to give you a safety net in case you get bursted down way too fast

Sample talent distribution for thammer play, martyrdom can be swapped out for momentum and shroudfield changed to chastise which is more consistent and requires less careful play but top half of the tree remains identical

ragers' 4-hit combos can not be spot-dodged
so unless you have a weapon with uninterruptible attacks or you're a TWBS zealot or you have a melee with stagger or you have a dclaw, it'll be rough in pure melee
whack them in between their combos or hope they do their non-combo attacks

some melee weapons have a particularly strong stagger on their special attack, like the Tactical Axes, Duelling Sword, and Combat Axes (well, combat axes can stagger ragers with lights/heavies anyways) that you might make use of if you're going down the melee route
Hey everyone, could anyone tell me if there is a good guide/video about how to dodge/parry perfectly ? I am used to dodge, I can rely on the sound effect to predict the incoming hits from behind, but when I am out of dodge, those 2-3 seconds I need to wait to get my dodges back are sometimes lethal. This morning, played my psyker on high intensity T5, we lost control of the situation, got surrounded, I couldn't quell, had to switch for the dueling sword and at some points, I couldn't dodge anymore, psyker's stamina is pretty low so my guard got broken and i went down. I don't need better gears or better build, I need to get better on that basic mechanic and I am not sure to understand how to perfectly dodge/parry to never go down against hordes or during close range fights in general. Try to manage between dodge and block when you feel you're getting overwhelmed. Dodge counter resets pretty quickly but if you spam it drains very quickly and dodge slide counts as two dodges which also can reduce the amount of your effective dodges in a tight spot
you can nab kinetic deflection for some extra safety and/or avoid peril generation in sketchy situations
Dodge slide counts as double ? I am confused about this. You mean when you dodge and crouch at the same time so it makes you slide + dodge ? I binded both actions on the same key, and I installed that mod which display the remaining dodges you have. I did some tries in the meat grinder and the counter decreased by one

nah just in the general sense that, if you're getting pressured and need to block in the interim to recover your dodges, have some free peril for kinetic deflection
venting shriek is nice if you're on the left side already and can make the choice between it and bubble
or grab an infinite cleave weapon like trauma or purg to avoid your team getting overwhelmed or to make clutches easier

We could have handle this situation differently for sure, but I want to feel comfortable enough with close range fights and reliable enough to go for hi-intensity gauntlet/auric maelstrom, and as far as I saw, messy situations can happen very quickly in those difficulties, so i'd better to be ready for anything

it means that you could modify 2 perks, 1 perk and 1 blessing, or 2 blessings

Lack of knowledge can lead one to just maxing it because "well, the game has more processing to it", but you also need other worker threads to run the rest of the computer, just like you can't just take your brain off the rest of your body to just move your arms while playing (flamer zealots excluded)
And ideally Fatshark has already worked out the appropriate number to run the rest of the computer on, which in my case is 3 threads
I also couldn't find an answer on a specific number of threads to run the computer with, and I'd guess it to be in part due to how shit just gets shared around the threads and you don't have stuff like "this thread exclusively runs Discord and nothing else"

Brand new player never touched a previous 40k/war hammer. I chose psyker originally but after meleeing a few things decided it’d probably be a blast if I went melee focused as the melee feels fun.

Yeah, consider changing your keybinds to not have tag on middle mouse if you don't like clicking your middle mouse very often, and consider making V your jump key, and letting spacebar be your slide key only
Spacebar for jump and slide can result in awkward jump when you meant to slide moments that are just death, and getting the muscle memory early is nice.
You may want to change sprint from holding shift, to instead being a toggle on shift, as that makes sprint sliding easier...
Know that while sprinting with stamina up, if you run diagonally at shooters they will miss, as you are considered 'dodging' and they shoot where you were. So if you run straight at them they still hit.
Sliding also sets you as dodging ranged attacks.
There are a lot of zealot feats that don't actually say everything they do, for example Thy wrath be swift says you no longer get melee hit stun, but you also don't get ranged hit stun, awkward but yeah.

If immersion is your main concern, the psykhanium is already better suited to that than text from an interactable.
A stronger argument you could've offered would've been a more intuitive system that doesn't rely on the player needing to acquire specific blessings and weapon stat distributions to test extremely specific interactions within Fatshark's systems.

have you tried dying in the beginning and just doing a carry through the whole mission? Melee damage cannot occur if your dead

dodge is hugely important. it makes enemies basically detarget you. if you arent sidestepping liberally youre losing out on tons of defense. when in doubt, sidestep
they still do their attacks but they wont home their strikes on you the way they usually do

One guy is kinda peppering me with insults and having a meltdown because I took "his ammo" once, now grabbing every ammo in sight, medicae, picking up and immediately deploying boxes, throwing slurs in vc.
Sometimes I wish the scoreboard wasn't just a mod, so that he'd be aware that he got 2x as much ammo as the next person in the mission

Best sweetspot for resource farming is normal or low int Damnation- exact same plasteel, none of the risks from specialist caravans
Not uncommon for people coming out of auric/maelstrom with 300-400 resources only because splitting off gets punished heavily in that difficulty and there really is very little time to go find pickups when a horde event is always triggering

you only have to hold it for a bit
once the reticle stops shrinking, you've fully charged it
though you generally avoid using the right click since it's less ammo efficient than just spamming LMBs

Enemies have different types of armor depending on where you hit them.
What does the "third and forth salvo" perks mean? Is it repeated hits?
Your weapon has a point of the recoil where it's considered to be reset
This enables opening salvo, sustained fire and that other blessing I can't remember
After you trigger them once, the gun will need to reset its recoil again before it can trigger the blessings again, which unfortunately goes a bit beyond "stop shooting"
Some weapons reset faster than others and some even reset differently if they're ADSed or hipfired
Anyone got a guide on what to look for with crafting? I get 380 is the cap for greys. For example, when hunting for a new Illisi and Demios sword, I'm not sure what sub stats to prioritize; is a 322 with 80% base damage better than say a 362 with 70%? How will they scale with refining, etc.

First of all, select a weapon and press v (if playing on pc) and hover on each sub stat to see what they do. In most cases damage related stats are prioritized. The 322, 362 ratings are simply the sum of the five sub stats for a rough reference.

Not sure if this helps but the zealot fire tends to have smaller flames and stick closer to the ground while regular fire is more wispy with longer/bigger looking flames

The twins' shields are Flak type, so use +25% Flak dmg perk on your weapons. Elites spawn once the shields go down and after Rodin (plasma gun boss) dies, elites spawn every minute while Rinda is left alive.

pretty much playing low int damnation on a map that's particularly linear, or quickplaying
material spawns scale only with difficulty, so pick whatever easiest damnation mission exists
I have a nvidia rtx 4080, Ryzen 9 3900x, and 64gb of ram.
This game barely manages 60-80 frames on average at 4k, but it only ever uses like 40% cpu and gpu, and 21 gb of ram.
Any advice for improving frames and GPU and CPU utilization?

need more frames, shadow settings are the first to go. turn off RTX if on. then just drop quality settings until you hit your desired fps.

the quickest and easiest mission for farming would probably be the oubliette assassination mission since it's fairly linear with narrow pathways and is one of the shorter missions

nah since you need to complete the missions to get all the mats, and the mission takes about 10-15 minutes whereas a regular mission takes about 20-25 and you get 280 or so plasteel compared to 600-800
Guaranteed crits is always nice and good synergy with some ability and 100% penetration on flak/carapace is something the revolver lacks, good for assassinating targets and rips maulers in hip fire/burst
Also stagger locks most big carapace enemies including bulwarks which is great for shooting it every 1-2 seconds and locking it in place

For FPS improvement, disable ragdoll physics and lower the body count duration at the bottom of the video graphics settings. Turn off Portrait Renderer from General settings is another option. Lower down shadows and lighting effects like every other game.
Finally, if you have an AMD GPU, disable Smart Access Memory/Re-Size BAR within your motherboard BIOS. Has been indicated that setting causes a wide framerate fluctuation and stuttering.

Bolter is still one of the best options for instantly mowing down mutant and dog waves in the Maelstrom missions that have them. It also brutalizes monstrosities; it's up there with heavy stubbers as a premier monster-chunking ranged option.
But honestly, I don't think it's so much that the bolter itself is a bad weapon -- it really isn't, it deals awesome damage against every armour type in the game -- but that it's a clumsy-feeling weapon, and the plasma gun is ridiculously overtuned right now. However, pretty much every other weapon pales in comparison to that thing, so I don't know if it's a totally fair comparison. Won't be surprised if the plasma gun eats a nerf in the next update.
IME, the thing that works the best to boost FPS is turning DLSS on and running a slightly lower resolution.
I have a laptop with a Nvidia RTX 3070 on a 2560x1600 screen, running the game on 1920x1200 on high settings and "quality" DLSS still gets me better FPS than native resolution on medium. The tradeoff is a small but noticeable reduction in image sharpness. The DLSS helps a lot in that regard.

@jovial saddle Tier IV blessings have a slightly better chance of appearing when a weapon reaches Transcendent/orange quality. Weapons within the same family name are shareable. Examples: Infantry Autogun; Eviscerator; Dueling Sword; Ripper Guns
Lastly, if you cannot find a tier IV blessing for one character in Melk's shop or Brunt's Armory, then switch to another class and check the shops again.
For example, both Zealot and Veteran have access to revolvers (also Psyker, but my example will not mention that class). I found a tier IV blessing on a revolver on my Veteran, bought the weapon, used Earn Blessing at Hadron's station so that I only keep the blessing and the gun is destroyed. Next, I changed to Zealot, went back to Hadron, then used Re-Bless on a Zealot's revolver to implement the same blessing that I got from my Veteran character.
A bit late, dont forget the blessings are seperate for thr staff family. It's dumb but it is what it is

Hi ! Question, what kind of gear do I need for Malice ? Weapon base score ? Do I need them to be Green? Blue? Purple? And if so, how do I farm diamantine ? Seems everything requires a ton and I find only like 10-20 per mission on uprising
you get more stuff at higher difficulties

Though higher level gear helps alot, if you are really new, and above level 10 i'd still recommend at least Malice, even if not all the runs are gonna be successfull... Game is alot about skill and you don't learn much on lower difficulties
If you type %appdata% on the search bar it should get you directly to Roaming
also WindowsKey + R opens the "Run" Console, just type in "appdata"-> Enter. Also open Explorer at appdata.

So i was reading a Ogryn guide for melee weapon Bully Club I combos: Heavy 1 -> Heavy 2 -> Slap

Each weapon has a modifier towards a certain enemy, such as dealing 20% damage to carapace, 70% to flak and so on
What 10% rending would do in those two cases is make the weapon deal 30% damage to carapace and 80% to flak
Rending does not affect these modifiers on unarmored and infested targets
Furthermore, if you pass 100% of that modifier with rending, the remaining percentage is converted to 1% damage for every 4% extra rending

Never count out malice being ridiculously unpredictable
Nothing worse than going into malice difficulty with lvl 15-20 that don't know how to play the game
I'd recommend malice spam till you're lvl 30 on your first character then skip heresy and go straight into Damn asap because the quality of teammates in heresy are horrendous

Understanding that corridors and doorways funnel enemies and let your attacks cleave multiple targets, using terrain to break LoS on gunners, holding angles properly so you aren't exposed to something you can't see, literally just backing up and conceding space so it thins out the horde due to different enemy movespeed
If you can do this, before you even understand what all the specials and elites do and have BiS gear, you're already damnation ready

the game's audio has been getting gradually worse over the last few patches to the point some specialists are completely silent so no it's not just you
yes silent Poxbursters has been a common problem thats plaguing the game currently. That and other sound cues not audible due to a lot of sound cues triggering thanks to the enemy density. So important sounds from specialists that recently spawned got drowned out by already existing sound cues that are playing
How exactly does rending/brittleness work? Is it something like the below:

For example, 40% rending would add 40% of the difference between the damage you'd do to an unarmoured target and the actual armour you are hitting
Rending is an additive effect that adds up to your armour damage modifiers. Each individual weapons have its own ADM against certain armour types. And Rending in itself is a self buff. So any addition to an armour damage modifers from Rending is only applied to you and you only.
Example: your Ranged Weapon has a base ADM of 20% against Crushers. So you're only doing 20% of your total damage against that particular armour type. Say you have a node like Rending Strikes that adds a self buff of 10% Rending, which applies to all your attacks. You will now do 30% of your total damage against Carapace with that Ranged Weapon

Brittleness is an enemy debuff effect that gives a percentage of Rending to attacks that hits an enemy. Its a cumulative Rending debuff that stacks up against a single target. Unlike Rending which is self buff. Brittleness buffs your entire team's armour damage modifiers to that 1 single target that has Brittleness debuff applied. Stuff like the node Onslaught adds Brittleness debuff that stacks up to 16 stacks. 1 stack is a 2.5% rending so in total you get a 40% teamwide ADM buff at full stacks.
unless something has changed. The formula afaik is still:
base_damage * armour_mod * rending_overflow * power * armour_perk * (any other buffs)
Both Rending effects however does not apply to the armour type Infested and Unarmoured

yeah Rending is capped at 100%
so if you're already doing 100% ADM against an armour type
any leftover rending is converted to 1% damage for every 4% of Rending

well theres not a whole lot of trustworthy sites to get all these info from unfortunately. Most of the game knowledge are found by people who looked at the code and passed down the information to this Discord actually. Or from Playtesters who has the clearance to give out the info publicly.

Well yeah, if you don't know how to focus the Twins correctly you may have a case where you're fighting an impossible battle, what need to happen is to have both shield down as quick qs possible, so always have 1 person on each Twin at least.
Anf focus Rodin, Ronda is scarier yes, but she is much less dangerous in the long term
i do a back and forth where i try to grab their aggro then swap to def and dodging untill someone else grabs the aggro back and forth. but its harder when theres 2

The aggro swapping you're describing shouldn't be necessary. The 2 players per boss should ideally be running weapons/builds capable of quickly bringing their shields down, dealing effective damage that matches against their weaknesses (melee which they take x2 hp damage against), and quickly killing Elites without relying on someone else to clean up.

Modifier rating, the base rating is all that matters.
Blessings earned are shared across weapon families. i.e. All Kantrael Infantry Lasguns, all Accatran Recon lasguns, etc.
You can also use the gameslantern link above to check for blessings by weapon.

im just getting back into the game , havnt played since like a month after launch , when i was playing at launch i was hitting close to 100fps in lobby and in game with occasional spike to 80 if big horde came on screen, but now i barely hit 70 in lobby and in game im sitting at 50 if that , spikes to 40 and constant stutter , ive followed a few videos on best settings for performance but its not really playable tbh , idk how i was running the game better at launch than i am now

For a PC with both AMD GPU and CPU, disable Re-Sizeable Bar in your motherboard settings. Even though that named setting is supposed to help improve framerate consistency in games, Darktide is negatively affected. Smart Access Memory (SAM) is in the AMD Adrenalin program for your GPU, but will be disabled when you turn off Re-Sizeable Bar instead. so do not worry about finding SAM.

How does chip damage through toughness work exactly? If you are not at 100% you take chip damage, right? And is there some sort of protection for being at 1HP? Running around at 1 HP alot as my zealot, but feel like chip damage doesnt really apply anymore then

at 100% you take no health damage, and as far as I know after that it will be percentage based like
at 70% toughness you have 70% health damage reduction
at 30% you have 30% health damage reduction
Should note this applies to melee damage only as ranged damage will only remove health once your toughness is fully drained. Some enemies like the mauler and crusher have attacks that don't care if you're at 100%
Zealots have some talents that help with surviving and when taking lethal damage, but I don't think there's any specific universal 1hp protection.
Zealot has Until Death that gives immunity when the player reaches 1 HP for 5 seconds, then pair that talent with Holy Revenant that causes Zealot to regain HP based on damage output within the same 5 seconds. Performing melee attacks restores 3 times more health than range attacks.
Read the part of the description which says "no ammo remaining".

Melee has no effect on that penance. But you need to use all your ranged ammunition.
So your proposed plan would be very difficult to achieve.
Use the plasma gun. Uses up a lot of ammo and hard to miss anything with the large projectiles it spits out.
Also if you regain ammo from Veteran's Survivalist aura, it does not affect the progress of the penance as long as you depleted all of your starting ammo.

this a fairly odd question but i was wondering is the game playable at all on high ping? i'm not saying lag spikes or dropped connections, i mean if an EU person was to play in Asia for example, my girlfriend recently moved abroad temporarily and i'd love to enjoy this game together with her but i'm unsure if it will be playable, i know for some games it's decent enough and i'm able to bare it but does anybody have any cross-region experience with this game?

I've played at high ping, and it's nearly unplayable. My frames dropped to >10fps, and aiming was impossible. By the time I fired my gun, the target had moved. I'd be hit by enemies I couldn't even see because they'd move inside my character model.

rolling back driver didnt seem to do anything so i followed a video that had me disable Control Flow Guard for darktides program , thats seems to have improved my fps in lobby at least im hitting around 85-102 fps in lobby

i'm in the psykhanium comparing curios against poxbursters and noticed that if i'm invisible and detonate a poxburster by shooting it, it doesn't pierce through my toughness. If I'm visible though and it explodes while running towards me, either from shooting it, knocking it back, or diving into me, it does pierce my toughness. Does anyone know what's happening here to cause the difference?
If you only use your melee weapon you won't complete the penance because you didn't spend all of your ranged ammo.
It doesn't make much difference if you shoot an enemy once and then kill them with a melee hit instead because the challenge is to spend all of your ranged ammo.

What I need clarification is:

I read somewhere as hearsay that if you have 4 people, one guy in the center (Let's say it's an ogryn) and 3 on the outside, if the 3 players are in coherency with the ogryn, but not each other, the game chains them together anyway and everyone gets 4 stacked.

This depends on the answer to number two, but how many people should take the +50% coherency radius buff? If it's overlapping circles, at least two, if it has to overlap with the actual player, at most two, I'd imagine.
