I was having this issue before. Just eenable dark mode then, when you get to a site that doesn't work well with it, right click and hit disable force dark page. That will add that site to the blacklist so it will always stay in light mode

1. Mechanical Keyboard typing sounds with the addition to sellect your own favorite mechanical keyboard switch.

If you add this, Opera GX will definitely grow. With millions of people that doesnt have a mechanical keyboard and dreaming to have one, well need no more if you add this feature to Opera GX.

2. Remove the RAM Limiter (same goes for cpu limiter).

This feature has been the biggest gimmick ever since opera gx existed. I myself found that the ram limiter is slowing my opera gx browsing experience on my low end pc (As in super lag i cant even see what i type sometimes for 1 second and the low end pc is using a 4 core processor). And the ram limiter has been the biggest attraction for both low end pc gamers and high end pc gamers without knowing the fact that the ram limiter just slows down opera gx even for high end computers. Instead you could limit the ram that opera gx uses if the app is minimized. That way it would be more efficient and doesnt slow the browsing experience. Also would like to request to stop promoting the ram limiter.

3. GX Setup (Includes being guilty).

Here are the stuff that would appear for first time or if this gets added to gx then when opera gx updates.
Add uBlock Origin (on or off)
There are currently issues with the built in ad blocker so to avoid hassle we would like to add that extension.
Add install chrome extensions (on or off)
There are not much available opera extensions, so to avoid hassle we would like to add that extension
Limit ram while opera gx is minimized (on or off)
Change color theme
Manage sidebar

Hello hello! Thanks for a great browser! Here are my 3 suggestions:

• Suggestion 1.
  Sidebar websites have background overwritten by the Opera's background colour. This renders some of the websites absolutely unreadable. Try Pinterest for example - it's a rather popular website so probably quite some users might have noticed it as well.
  Images are ofc fine, but black text with dark themes is almost invisible. It was possible to keep Spotify, Twitter, Messenger but also extra like Linktree, Youtube, DeviantArt backgrounds as original - why not with Pinterest as well? I suspect, those other websites must have css background styles explicitly set to certain colour, but in cases with transparent one setting it to default browser-tab bg-colour or even better, allowing to pick a colour yourself would be a welcoming change.

• Suggestion 2.
  Razer Chroma sounds pretty cool, but it's very specific, don't you think? Are you perhaps planning to support more brands? For example Logitech G-series? Unless it's a marketing sponsorship then... oh well...

• Suggestion 3.
  Twitch sidebar extension works amazing, but has 1 flaw. When browser is already opened and internet connection is cut, after reconnecting, Twitch extension is not refreshing anymore. Manual refreshing button isn't working as well. Only solution is to reopen the whole browser. This is surprising as for other extensions, this refresh button works completely fine (i.e. Spotify, Messenger)

Ok so the way I use opera gx is that I have many tabs open at one time because I love multitasking. The automatic tab restore feature is great but I have noticed a problem. If you open a tab in a new window and accidentally close your main window first before the second one then when you reopen opera it'll just be the one tab from the new window you created and everything else is lost. If both windows could be restored that would be much better and I wouldn't keep losing my tabs. Or even if tab sessions weren't deleted/overwritten and you could restore them to any point from when you closed the browser during the day

My suggestion is you remove opera gx control and instead try to focus on making the cpu and ram consumption a lot less than other browsers like chrome or brave. Because chrome has improved a lot on the ram crisis that happened. And brave is like notorious also for there privacy and less cpu comsumption. So if it's possible, try to lessen the cpu consumption in opera gx and remove the gx control if you solve or fix the issue

BIGGEST suggestion I can offer which has made massive improvements is allowing you to set which CPU cores you want to pin Opera GX browser to. Currently windows scheduler picks the best cores for EVERYTHING (on ryzen 5000 so far is my experience) and if we can select opera gx to run on worse cores then those best cores can be allocated for gaming. I went into task manager and set the affinity for opera to my other CCD and my FPS is now more consistent in CPU intensive games (league of legends as an example where it's only uses at most 2 cores)
