I would appreciate and propose that the logos of the quick accesses sometimes not be detected from the pages that belong to be able to upload the png file to give even more personalization to that part, that space could be occupied in some part of the cache or take them from some place of the solid disk. For example, I usually play on chess.com and it doesn't detect the page's logo, it only gives me the url as the logo.

@bleak flume It exist, u have to download the google translator extension, also natively would be great like a download videos multimedia tool for download from reddit, youtube i understood its more complicate, but... facebook, twitter, vimeo, idk. That kind of pages. The background music are a great idea, but i ll apreciate more variety or have access to put own music in loop; opera gx for mobile; spotify sidebar; reddit sidebar (i often pin the tab, so this mmmm meh but can be useful for others); for the last, i love OPERA GX. All my discord server use it, deserves all the comunity support this. You're doing awesome.

@sick solar That may be because you are limiting your RAM and CPU which makes GX turn them into a pseudo-closed state which refreshes them when you visit again. Try keeping the limits a bit higher

But, on another browser, to play the dino game(which is from google) you gotta search it on google, which requires you to have internet. When dragging a tab from a window into another window, the now empty window stays open with no tab in it. Maybe add at least a setting to enable or disable this so the window closes automatically when it has no tabs in it. Its always annoying to manually close the window. But I really love GX! This would be a very useful feature for older PCs. Now, if you go to Opera GX to open one web page (for example, Google) and exit, the browser loads all the pinned tabs for you, and loads the PC..

the stability of screen sharing depends on your computer and internet power. it has nothing to do with your browser. in fact, having to screenshare from your browser will cause lag since having your browser opened takes more power from your pc than let's say discord. even with the ram and cpu limiters they can't even compete with each other

it's not a bad idea, but in my opinion it's kinda useless considering how many screensharing applications exist already

I have two ad blockers in Opera GX. Unfortunately, on some sites I am forced to disable these plugins. To do this, I am forced to enter Extensions and manually disable each of them. It seems to me that in the main browser window it should be possible to disable these extensions using the icon - just like in other browsers (Chrome, Firefox).

Hey I don't know if this has been said, but I would love for a volume bar for the music setting so I can actually hear it when I'm at low dbs. I use Opera GX as my primary browser nowadays and I really love having Discord on the sidebar. However one of the major gripes is that I cannot open embedded video links full screen. I'm not sure if it's a limitation of it being on the sidebar but if I open Discord on a tab of its own I don't have this issue. It'd be great if you guys can have a workaround for it, thanks!

I literally hate the new look. It looks terrible, the only new thing I like is you can add your own music but thats pretty much it. It looks too bland, it's kinda laggy, it has all these apps that I never use or would never use on the shortcut part, I can't have discord on the sidebar anymore, all I can have is Telegram, Instagram, Twitter, Facebook Messenger, Whatsapp and VK. None of which these I use. Also the new backgrounds look so terrible, they're so bland and dull from what they used to be. I also feel like there are less options and a lot of the settings are more confusing. I do like the new workspaces, though. But overall you took something cool and threw that cool idea away.

In my opinion you should add a setting where you can make the browser look like how it used to.

hi new to the server, and glad Opera has this spaces to listen to their userbase. I have a suggestion, I switched to from Chrome to GX because I'm an illustrator and Photoshop sucks the ram out of my pc so GX Control is just what I needed.
That being said I've recommended it to other fellow digital artists and a feature we all miss a lot from other browsers is having the ability to drag and drop images to the speed dial page, like dragging an image I may want references or a source of to the Google search bar is super useful, also while browsing to have the option to Search Image in Google by right clicking.
I don't think it's really a super difficult feature to add and it will help a lot!

"Force Dark Pages" should be turned off when the site has a Dark Theme all ready.

can we have an option to, when opening a new window (contrl+n) open it without the pined tab included? as in only the speed dial page. I usually have WhatsApp open there and every time I open a new window WhatsApp logs out because it also appears in the new window and apparently can't deal with two windows with the app open.

Another little one, can we have support for digital tablets? I use a wacom cintiq and the pen seems to not work in some small things, like trying to drag a window from the top, like you can drag individual tabs but not the whole window. You can't change the size of a window neither with the pen. I have to move to my mouse to use those things.

I have a problem when i try to drag&drop the desktop files to google drive , the cursor hits the left sidebar's apps (Messenger , Discord..) and these apps are opening and covering the site's body. Add a "Google Apps" Shortcut to the Sidebar. And if u want chroma effects u need to always have all ur setup on one weirdass light mode, single light, not cycling, no effects or so, boring af until u open audio spectrum (which is not optimized well) or open tabs close tabs rapidly to have non-boring few animations thats all.

And more optimized audio spectrum. The problem with it is, it uses far more processing power than it actually needs. It doesnt have to respond to all sound waves perfectly-like satisfying audiophiles. And the freq response of it is eh, not satisfying at all. Needs to be smaller freq area it responds to, and widens the spectrum. Might even solve optimization that way.

I understand the music feature is being mentioned a lot, but I'd like to ask that Spotify be shortlisted for their web player to be included as a side panel ala the discord panel. GX's discord webchat frame is really slick and its no joke the work to be done but I'd like to think that Spotify's web player being added would make things easier and be less of a hassle over others.

The one big thing I really miss in opera GX is searching by hitting space.

With chrome you can search by typing google.com and hitting space, it lets you search through Google without first loading in google.

This works with google, youtube, bing, amazon etc. I find it amazing, especially when there's a slower connection. Also, sometimes I'm streaming and I want to be able to pull up a youtube video without everyone seeing the shit on my home page
