The other day, I got a notification that a site couldn't load properly due to the cache being too large.
It seems I can't access this menu from anywhere in the settings (or at least not by searching its keywords).

Its as simple as it sounds, just being able to choose a custom opacity for whatever shader your using. It would be perfect when you want an effect just subtly going in the background without being too intrusive or if you want to make it a little more mild. Similar to how with Instagram filters you can select the % you want the filter to apply. This is also something that could be easily applied to all shaders/filters in post with a single in app setting without needing the shaders to do it individually

A quick suggestion, when changing colors for themes in the manifest.json file I noticed the colors for the light and dark theme are in hsl which makes things a bit convoluted since when I want to take from an rgb color set (which is 99% of the time) I have to get a converter online so it looks the way I want it to. Just wish you could switch it to RGB somehow so that if I wanted to use the much more niche hsl than I could use a converter for that. Or there is another way to grab the icon from the website itself which is very simple, just go to the site which is in your speeddial, press on the bookmarks button(the heart) and then just switch to whatever icon you want there, and zoom in or out.

The extensions I use now SUCK (let me know if you have any recommendations)

To be honest I'm not even sure if this is something that's a feature or if I'm just being stupid, but I switched to OperaGX last night, & I'm currently setting up everything to my preferences. But I don't see any way to get push notifications from OperaGX. For instance, the Twitch sidebar icon will display the correct number of live streamers in the small number on the icon, it all works fine, no log-in issues at all. But I don't get notified when a streamer goes live, there's no notification that pops up telling me which streamers have gone live. It's the same for my messengers, Whatsapp will have a dot on the icon telling me there's a notification, I can click on it & see my chats, see what notification it is, but there isn't a pop-up notification showing me the message before I click on the Whatsapp icon. Is this even a feature or am I missing something very obvious here?

But they're not an implementation of tab groups imo, they're quite different. Tab groups can be created on a whim, collapsed, and deleted on a whim too. They are a lot more temporary and are within the tabs space rather than anywhere else. I mean it would be awesome to have those too if we can.

or their features could be added to workspaces: a + button below workspaces which you can drag drop a tab into to create one, and new workspaces being dynamic by default, meaning if all tabs are closed in it, it automatically gets removed. Hiya! I would like to make a small suggestion for Opera GX. I like the ability to use the sidebar for various features including the ability to go to custom pages. However, when something would make me go to fullscreen, the page from the sidebar doesn't cover the window. What's supposed to be viewed in fullscreen is smaller than expected and, if ever you click outside of the page, it closes, leaving you stuck in fullscreen, and showing the Windows taskbar below (yeah, it's not hidden anymore at this moment.)
Not a big deal to get out of there, just pressing Esc and it returns to normal, but it's still a bit annoying. Would it be at least possible to make an option for it? (So users can choose their preferred way)

Hey, would it be possible to add tab grouping in addition to workspaces? I find workspaces a bit hard to use and also, you might wanna change that it's tied to a specific window. As someone who multitasks a lot and tries to allocate different workspaces to different interests to keep the number of tabs down it's been a bit frustrating. I just accidentally closed my window and lost all of my tabs from 3 workspaces since they were all specifically tied to that window.

for security (everyone should) turn on ask where to save before downloading so that nothing can be downloaded directly. its allowed to be turned off only for convenience of users who have confidence in what they are browsing wont lead to malware

Fix notifications to be stable, I literally get nothing even if I have notifications allowed except for one site and that's IRCCloud, but for sites like YouTube and Twitch, I get nothing even if I have allowed them. I also have tried fixing this, I get it to work for the most part (Twitch doesn't come through at all, regardless if I fix it or not), but as soon as the browser crashes or if I close it out, they're gone and IRCCloud is the only one that will come through again. Notifications are unstable on Opera GX, I have to rely on Edge to give me notifications.

I've done so. For some reason I still get a popup occasionally that the extension needs updating and needs extra permissions. I made it go away more or less by opening up opera://flags/#native-crypto-wallet and disabling it there. Still sometimes get the popup though when I first start opera up for the day... which is weird when it is not actually visible in extensions any more due to being disabled like this, so why would it be checking for updates to an extension that is explicitly forbidden by the user?

Opera GX at least is behaving better in this regard than Opera One, anyway.

Please add the ability to sync extensions in any way shape or form. The how does not particularly matter as long as we can at the very least access a list of our preferred extensions across browsers/devices as searching for extensions is the most time consuming part.
