alright this tierlist is kinda bad and outdated, I hope i made a better one

Forest is the OG map, great for all kinds of players. Definetly S tier

Caves is kinda ehhh, there isnt that much of variety in the map except for crystals and mines. However, it gets points for being the creepiest map of them all. B tier

Canyons has had one of the best glow-ups of the year, from being a boring desert to a monkey playground with plenty of things to swing on. Having introduced new mechanics and new love for this map, im going to give it an A tier

City has an amazing aesthic, with the gray/dark areas and a big window to creepy buildings and rain. This map has so much stuff to explore, cosmetics to find, so im going to give it an A tier

Mountains have has been controversial, due to the recent remake wich the feedback upon was probably divided 50/50 on. However, I think the ice mechanic is the best mechanic in the entire game, being able to get so much speed from nothing is very satisfying. S tier

Clouds Is also a fun map, but its a bit too big in my opinion. The speed boost on the cloud parts, and the new wind mechanic is pretty fun, but idk it gets old after a while. C tier

Basement Was fun at the beginning, exploring the dungeon&dragons themed maze, avoiding monsters, getting tiny, and exploring the basement again was great. But it had the same problem as clouds, it gets boring quickly. After some time you explored everything and then you never come back again. C tier

Beach Amazing map, introducing the new water mechanic, wich is again very fun. The mix between ropes and water is fantastic, and the longer ropes mean more monkey flinging. S tier
