On PCVR
Completely remove or rename your Gorilla Tag folder, and reinstall, usually found here:
STEAM: C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Gorilla Tag
META RIFT: C:\Program Files\Oculus

On Quest
First check your time setting are set to Auto and that the headset has the correct time.
If you can access ingame computer make sure the Troops tab is set to Default

Next step: Clearing the Appdata.

Personally I would just stay standalone, tho upgrade off the q2 and go for the q3 or q3s. Both are good, q3s is like a q3 for a cheaper price but with a few different things, q3 is the best overall

From what I've heard it has amazing lenses, really good passthrough, good battery-life (still would recommend getting a battery pack or two just in case), and a few other internal components. I've actually heard some negative things about the tracking from the pro controllers, but other than that it should be quite good for comp

the only big difference between the 2 is the 3 has better lenses and resolution. the 3s has the same processer but it has a fresnel lense and lower resolution. but the 3s has IR emitters on the headset so you can play in the dark, and arguably the 3s has better battery life than the 3 because it has a lower resolution screen

i also assume the 3s would run better because the screen is less demanding
