The report system is a peer led system where players report other players for 1 of 3 things Cheating, Hate speech or Toxicity. Reports are processed to ensure they are valid and not spammed (mass reports) and if they are spammed reports they are ignored, a player could sit for an hour reporting the same person and it will never be more than 1 report and in most instances no report is logged.

This system looks at the amount of rooms that player has been reported in over a short period of time. if there is a pattern of reports for a certain behaviour across a significant amount of lobbies. the auto ban system then removes players when a set criteria is hit.

For the past month I haven’t been able to play gorilla tag because every time I go to join a lobby the leaderboard stays blank and nothing loads. I’ve mentioned this about two weeks ago and somebody told me that the devs now and that it should be fixed soon but I still am not able to play it and it says 30,000 other people can play. On PCVR
Completely remove or rename your Gorilla Tag folder, and reinstall, usually found here:
STEAM: C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Gorilla Tag
META RIFT: C:\Program Files\Oculus

On Quest
First check your time setting are set to Auto and that the headset has the correct time.
If you can access ingame computer make sure the Troops tab is set to Default

Next step: Clearing the Appdata.
