Rule #9 Don't Spam/Blank Ping
Avoid randomly pinging people or without a message. The Moderators are here to help but do not ping or message them out of the blue. They are people too! You do not decide when they must respond in chat.
Respect for their time: Moderators have lives outside of the community. They volunteer their time to help, but they're not always available. Pinging them directly for every issue might disrupt their personal time.
Reduced distractions: Constantly pinging moderators for various issues can be distracting and overwhelming. Using a 'has stick' streamlines the process and allows moderators to manage their involvement more effectively.
The "has stick" role is a way to notify the team responsible for moderation without specifically singling out an individual. It ensures that someone who's available and responsible for handling such matters will address the issue, ensuring that concerns are addressed while respecting the personal lives and availability of the moderators.
note it's also important to note that pinging moderators or any role within the community with frivolous, silly, or spammy messages isn't appropriate or tolerated. DO NOT Ping Lemming.
