monstrous chests and tomes are a must, pick between the talent orbs or embers for the last slot, speedups/shields are kind of a waste, the hero chests are useless (gray heroes suck, drop rates are low either way), devils caps aren't really needed for non rally leads, res jewels aren't worth it compared to the rest, sigils/carpets are good for fillers, manes are questionable, boots are ok

speeds and shield are nice, but so many other ways to get them, so probably not the best choice here. If you're just starting out, it'll be a LONG time before you need to worry about sigils or carpets. By the time you get the jewels up to a level where they'd really make a difference, you'll probably have most of the shorter researches done and be using technolabes for the longer ones.

Hero chests are just bad...only good thing in them is the hero medals which are extremely rare...and even if you DO get lucky and get the top prize, it gets you a grey hero that you'll still need to spend over $10,000 to actually make useful.

The brackets are roughly like that but each Castle level has a slight difference.
There's no right or wrong answer to the rushing c25 question.
If getting easy hells for guild fest (you can easy easy get ranking below c25) and it's very easy to get watcher before c25.
I wouldn't recommend rushing c25 before you have the other buildings to back it up, especially if you're just starting out. But also don't park at lower levels forever.

That's up to you.
But rushing castle levels when you don't have the other buildings to back it up gives some minor boost at the cost of other long term benefits.
There's a lot to weigh in both sides.
If watcher is important to you, definitely maximize that while you can at lower Castle levels. Likewise take advantage of the loots you get from ranking in hells (and the easy guild fest quests).
Something most new players don't realise is level 60 is a far more important goal (and more of a grind) than c25

I would assume that aquiris just actually reduces it 15%, so if its 500% it goes to 485 because why would igg help us by giving us a lvl 2 familiar that was more effective than one of the most expensive researches in the game 🤷🏻‍♂️

The chance of getting a material from a tile is always the same no matter how much resource is left on it right? (i.e. full or only 10% left)

like someone didn't gather the entire tile and now i go gather from it, the chance is still the same right?

if that's the case, theoretically, would it work if I only send 1 troop to gather? would that increase the odds of obtaining materials since technically I am still gathering and i would be having way more gathering trips? does this make sense?

If you're still newbie enough that you're gathering to get material drops, then I imagine your heroes aren't max level yet either. It's totally worth while always sending heroes to gather *never the leader for the little bit of hero exp. It all adds up. And maybe it increases the material drop rate, but no one's sure. Either way it can't hurt.

There's no way to auto count.
Make a spreadsheet with all the names of everyone in your guild, and every day as you collect gifts, scroll down the list and put a check mark for every kill and level number.

Be grateful IGG updated showing the names on gifts. It used to be they were all anonymous and everyone had to send screenshots every day is their kills. #tedious

If someone has anti, you will not get a walkback to give you a comp on a solo unless they've got basically no troops.
So you either rally it or test the frontline.

Standard procedure for testing:

• break the wall (send a siege march)
• send a small range march (no leader but send heroes and like 40k range). Pay attention to the might drop
• do the same but with cav.
• compare the might drop between the range test and the cav test.

Massive army. You'll only get a walkback if they don't have enough troops to kill all your troops.

The thing with testing a frontline on a Castle with anti:

• You have to take careful notes on the might drop (the type that drops the most might will indicate that the enemies frontline is the type that you countered)
• you will lose all the troops you used for testing. Cost of doing war. Just send T2
• if the opponent is online and changing their front, you won't get anywhere. But if they're online you're screwed anyway

There's a "dirty" method you can find out enemy formation; if they have any gathering tiles out or camps, you can attack the tile and see the formation from the report on that. But tile hitting is... Often ill advised and frowned upon. You might get repercussions

F2p isn't impossible. But you have to rely more on playing smart than just throwing money at it.

Last year I did a "speed run" to get watcher f2p on an alt... At 359 days unlocked T4, 480 days had gold watcher, pact 4, full marches of T4 enough to join war rallies (but I kept the comp hideable), and not terrible Mix gear. That account is able to kill dn5.

Last thing tho. so our guild leader wants to move to an older kingdom. his alt has actually been the guild leader but his main has been in the other kingdom for a while. i was scoping out the place and it seems like on average, everyone there is castle 25 and has at least 1 billion might. the lower ends are still like 400 million might. would u recommend i migrate to him (there will probably be many p2p players so i could probably grow faster there) or should i stay in my noob kingdom (seems a lot safer and at a more manageable pace)?

Find out the details of the guild you're going to actually be in.
Being in a sub guild to the overlord is even less protection.
But if they are gonna be pushing events, make sure you can actually fulfill the requirements. Like can you realistically do GF at whatever level they expect and keep up with hunting minimums?

If you won't be in the main guild, then no. Stay in ur protected kd, shield constantly, save your gems, make little purchases if possible.. like the welcome offer or the $1 packs to give yourself a little boost.. save up technolabes and you'll be good

Even if you have t4, you need large amount of them and t2. Good gear and jewels. Nice familiars and research. Even with that, you need to be online most times you're unshielded.

50m troops got zeroed yesterday in 817. He was offline.

Let's say I'm trying to hide all my troops . I port over to a forest and send all my troops as reinforcements to my guildmates very far away so I won't get to the castle . A rally is heading my way while my troops (reins to my mates) are still walking . When the rally hits and i burn will my troops get back to my castle and get attacked ? Or will they go back to my castle after it randoms me out or will they still keep walking ?

You can only random automatically after burning if...

1. You're on wonder area
2. The attacker used tidal Titan.
   But nobody uses tidal Titan on a castle they're attempting to zero

so I know i can generate points by either attacking and holding a fort down and by having troop in castle when caravan passes

someone told me that i can also get points by just keeping a troop inside a fort or whatever and it generates points as long as i'm there even if the caravan never touches it. but i haven't found that to be true. I guess i'm just wondering if it is true and somehow I've just been messing up??? cuz i'm pretty sure i did that when i first started playing dragon arena but then i stopped cuz i don't think it was giving me any points for it

So certain forts give different things so I found i get faster points not only tracking caravans and following them but taking and holding the Citadels Ancient remains give an attack boost so they nice to have as well. Good luck on dragon arena :)🥰

Yea on my kingdom 1.5 billion might castles are mostly shielded there is no magic number where you can just unshield without worry. Because when you have a huge target on your back more castles join in to zero you.

700k each T4 and 100k each T2.. enough to cap solos, and you can hide all troops in your guildmates castles

If you get rallied, port to corner and send your troops to your guildmate castles as garrisons and have them rein you one troop so it looks like you're gonna take the rally
