It happens a lot when you restart the game, I usually wait 20 seconds or so after restarting then it works. Otherwise you can usually wait 5 or 10 seconds. But we all see that message many times a day lol.

I guess the adverts we see are a revenue stream for Hutch. Companies pay for those adverts to be seen, most likely by number of viewings. To stop these all being used up too quickly, there may be time delays built in and perhaps quotas per person? So during H2H there would be a lot of rematch Ad requests and maybe there are times when there are literally no adverts available to watch.

Quickest way to deal with that is going back to the garage and switch vision to another car, then try the ad again. It works 90% of the times for me.

We are supplied adverts by a third parties company and we show whatever advert is sent by them when a request is made. i've sent all the screenshots of errors and player ID's/videos etc to our team to work with the 3rd parties to get the errors resolved. There's no limit I know of, to how many ads can be seen.

As you see each language has different translations if you manage with more than 2.

The rule I follow and has worked so far. If you click Ad rematch and it says No Ads available, do not try for ads again. Either choose Gold rematch or exit and take the lower penalty. It seems that if one of the Ad streams appears to have no ads available, if you keep trying it locks up.

@raven spindle I just wanted to let you know that the function you put in place to allow Clubs to be hidden from search doesn’t do anything. Random players join constantly even with it enabled. The point of this function was specifically to keep random players from joining, but it doesn’t currently do that. Thanks.

It’s impossible to finish this ladder in the time given and do the H2H given the fusion times and requirements for 6 star fusion in the ladder. Not sure if it’s a bug but please extend the end time or remove 6 star fusion requirement. @lime ruin @raven spindle

If you are already fused once to 5 star, you have enough time but if, like me, you were not fused once before the ladder started yesterday, you don’t have enough time without paying loads of gold to skip fusion.

With the forward notice of the event and the fusion requirements, there should be enough time to upgrade + play in both events. The 4-6* Fusion time takes up 35 hours, while the Ladder is 120 hours, and at least a 24 hour notice for requirements.

Also, you can even start the first fusion until you reach rung 15 to get the fusion you need.

The ladder time is 120h from when you enter, so if you delay starting the ladder, you won't need to worry about fusion times during the H2H.

The idea of this whole thing is to start the ladder right away, use the fusion in it to fuse your car twice, then be able to compete effectively in the h2h. A double fused car is infinitely better in an h2h. The main problem here is Hutch gives the same time between ladder and h2h in a D tier and an S tier. That makes no sense. You made it mathematically impossible to fuse your car twice and enter the h2h with this 720S. Only two solutions to this error. You cannot join h2h if you want to complete the ladder.

120 hours - 36 - 48 = 36 hours only ( now to reach rung 15 you need another 10 hours and then few hours to reach rung 18 to claim next FC so in theory you only get 15 hours spare ) So no way you can do H2H and ladder both 🙂

any ladder should be minimum 7 days if tiers S or at least 6 days if tier A or below.

They have promised an improvement to rewarded ads with a future update, so I'm trying to figure out with our tools team how quickly we can get that into our game. In the meantime, do you think you could fill in a !bugbot report so that I can get your Hutch ID (the answer to question one of the !bugbot form)?

When you say that the ad plays to completion but doesn't drop the reward, what do you see when the ad window closes? Do you see the slightly darkened game screen with an animating spinner in the centre, or do you see the splash screen with the Porsche image, and then no race? It’s unfortunate you started late. The best thing to do when in doubt about the Pass is get as far as possible in the free one, then decide on the last day of the Pass if it’s worth paying the money. If you start it in the first day it’s no problem getting to 50, but starting late can make it rather difficult.

Everyone with the ad problem needs to have direct messages enabled then type an exclamation mark followed by bugbot in here. Then give them the specific info they ask, that will help them figure out what is going on.

I'm sorry that there are continued problems with ads in Rebel Racing, but disappointingly there hasn't been a single !bugbot form filled in so far.

I don't need to see anymore screenshots of the ad error messages. What I need is your answers to the !bugbot questions, so, the Hutch ID for those players effected, the device type being used (Android or iOS), etc.

There seems to several different issues occurring:

1. The ad plays and closes but doesn't give a reward.
2. The ad plays and can't be exited without rebooting the app.
3. The ad plays and closes but a server error occurs (please let me know what error message you see).
4. The ad doesn't play at all. and shows a 509, 1022, or 1023 popup message.

Any information (especially videos of the issue, or the type of video being shown, which you can find out by clicking the (i) button on the ad video), will help us to narrow the cause down with the ads software developer.

Please do note, the issue with the unresponsive H2H rematch buttons will be fixed with the next update.

I've been able to reproduce one of the issues on my test devices (ad plays, ad closes, no reward given, error 1022 shown), so there's no need for anymore screenshots of the 1022 error, thanks! Looks like one of your devices is using the higher detail car model (hence the rivets) and the other is using a lower detail car model (hence no rivets). What device model is showing the lower detail car model?

The lower is a Galaxy J7 Metal and the high is an iPhone 6. But playing in the iPhone is impossible, its freezes a lot and game reboots all the time, this issues that people have with adds I had already in the iPhone before they talk about here, so I must play in the Galaxy, that isn't new and because this the definition is bad, but never freezes and I did stop to loose points, gas and tickets for forfeit.

COMPLAINT

I am so annoyed with hutch regarding the Pagini events this week.

Every time I spend money with hutch I regret it.

I bought the Pagini this week to enter the two events (ladder and h2h) and I can’t see how it is possible to do them both.

The ladder is only 5 days and two fusion is required to complete. It takes 3.5 days to do both fusions and 10 hours to do the first 15 rungs to get the first fusion points.

These are the timings and you either don’t enter the h2h OR don’t complete the ladder missing out on 75 gold keys and a stage 6 resource.

Logged with support who tell me it is possible but Don’t take into account time to complete ladder rungs and expect me to enter h2h 12 hours late at 4am!!!

At a rough guess, this bug has cost me well over $165k in cash, and roughly 2100 gold coins worth of gas because of the advert issues. Maybe more, not to mention countless matches lost because I couldn't re-race it after hitting an invisible wall or corner.

So buying the car for 4,000 gold and paying 1,000 gold to enter the events is not enough, hutch want another 1,400 gold to enter the events because of insanely poor planning …. I certainly won’t be a complete mug and pay gold for a car again, I should have learned my lesson last time.

All that needed to happen was the restriction of 6* on the last 3 rungs of ladder, which I suggested BEFORE the ladder was even listed.

Unfortunately there’s not much that can be done about that. The game can’t know if the game itself crashed, you lost internet, or the player exited the game mid race. So they have to assign a loss. But I do think you should only lose the points you would have lost from the race, not 20.

Basically I bought the Pagini last week to enter the ladder and h2h.

It’s impossible to do both without spending thousands of gold to skip fusion.

The ladder had a restriction that the last 3 levels (75 gold keys and a stg 6) had to be 6*

But fusing to 6* went past the last entry time for the h2h.

Keeping 5* for the h2h would be fine and then run the fusion 6* after the h2h but the ladder ended before that fusion was done.

So I paid 4,000 gold for the car to enter the events but it was not possible without spending thousands more gold to buy more ladder tickets and skip the fusion time.

There were two simple solutions… extend the ladder by 48hours or remove the restriction on the last 3 rungs.

Just know that until they fix the bug in your weekly tasks, the task stays there for the whole month. Lots of time to finish it. Plus you can skip a lot of weekly as long as you do all your daily.

@coarse bronze many players have complained about the cash reward from off road being so low compared to road. It’s in fact supposed to be a bit higher. But there is a bug in the programming. Hopefully you guys can fix the bug as soon as you get a chance.

Just go to S tier easy money then click on Novice, Pro, and Racer. You will see the following cash amounts at the bottom: $1600, $2000, $2400. This results in a total cash given for Racer at $2750.

Then look at S off road easy money. All three pp levels, Novice Pro Racer, all have the same amount at $1750. This is a bug. We just need to assign base values of $2150 to Pro and $2550 to Racer. They were intended to be slightly higher than road S because every player gets an S road car for free, while it’s quite difficult to get an S tier off road. Thanks.

So the Ads are doing it again! I keep getting the same company's ads and it seems to be them same issue that@broken juncoposted in his video. When I try to load another Ad if gives me the 1022 Error - can't load an Ad while another Ad is still running. Then I have to exit the game, restart it, and when I rerun the Ad (to get the gas) I get the same exact company each time - GUNS OF GLORY - 100% of the time these Ads fail for me. When I try to get another Ad to come up it reruns the GUNS OF GLORY Ad again and fails - this has been going on all day!
I finally got an Ad that wasn't Guns of Glory and it crashed the entire game. When I re-entered the game, I got an Ad that was NOT the Gun of Glory and it worked. For now. I will update this thread with any other details or Screenshots

First time I’ve had an Ad problem on iOS for a while. Screwed up the jump on 5.3 so Ad rematch. Locked up with 4 secs to go and game crashed. Didnt get forfeit, only the lose points. So thats not so bad, apart from very bad time!! Not reporting it as a bug, feedback only as could have been anything caused it.

BTW are there any Android users not experiencing Ad problems? Just asking as nobody reports such things, tempting fate??

Here's another thought @coarse bronze& @raven spindle. Why, after I have finished the ladder at a specific tier, and I have beaten the Boss, don't you remove those races from the map? They just clutter it up! At each Tier, where the ladder races and the Boss is beaten should have those races removed from the map. It's just good housekeeping. Unless there is a reason to keep them there?

@coarse bronze serious bug to report. When I finished rung 18 of the Nihon cup, that happened to satisfy a daily task which coincidentally put me up another level of the pass. Because of that the reward screen for the club points of the ladder never showed.p,it was superseded by the pass reward screen. Not only did I not get the club points from the ladder, the game reduced my club points by several thousand.

I don't see a !bugbot report in the bug-reports channel for you, so I don't have your HutchID to hand to take a look. Probably best if you message CS so they can adjust your club points accordingly.

All of the on road tiers have at least 6 in rotation. .. and the players unanimously would like see more variety while grinding away... particularly in and especially during focused seasons, like the one upcoming... 2 birds with 1 stone kinda thing

This wasn't so much of an issue during the mini beta season cuz those cars could be used on their respective tier on road track as well... not just stuck in italy

An alternative idea, that might be a quicker and easier fix... (and im sure most players would be intrigued by) what about untethering the offroad vehicles from offroad tracks only and let them run on ez$ tracks of their tiers... just like the minis? @coarse bronze

I assume you were able to watch an ad, but the race didn't start correctly afterwards? In order to look into the cause, we do need you to fill in a !bugbot report, and please make sure to assign your HutchID (found on the options screen, bottom left corner) to the answer to question one. Without your HutchID I can't see what sort of error your app generated and therefore it's much more difficult to diagnose the problem. Many thanks.

@loud river @raven spindle @muted hamlet @coarse bronze I really feel like you should get rid of unity ad service. They have affected almost all of your customer base for about a month now and still haven't fixed anything.

I may have found a work around when an Unity ad starts to play. This has only worked 1 time, so not sure if it will everytime or not. Here is what I did.

1. As the ad was playing in noticed the "unity hand" symbol (either in top left corner, it bottom middle) and clicked on it.

2. I then clicked on something like "Report ad" (can't remember exactly what it said) and then clicked on "other"

3. That ad closed and gave me option to watch another. This second ad wasn't from unity and worked just fine. Giving me a H2H ticket.

4. I have only tried this once, but wanted to post right away to have other try it.

Here is the unity hand symbol. Usually in top left corner or bottom middle. Sometimes shows at beginning of ad, sometimes at the end.

In the car shop when u click on the custom Camaro and then click on the Pontiac or the Mazda it shows that they are only available in events though they are crate cars. So Ads, again, this time in H2H races! So I tries to do the rematch thing with an Ad and it played the Ad entirely, however it did not allow me the rematch, not would the button for play to play work! So I was forced to leave the race, lose, and then run a couple of races to remake the places up that I had lost! After I restarted the game, it allowed me to race again, and the Ads worked.

Due to another software error, players who obtained Veteran Pass at the beginning of this season - received 200K points instead of 20K points. After numerous support tickets Hutch fixed this error by preventing it from happening again, however incorrect rewards were not deducted from anyone! If you can not adjust the points - you should just end this season now and start it from scratch!

It’s not possible to have 200k points in the first several hours of the club season. Hutch should be able to look if anyone did, and correct it. Personally I think the Pass was easy to finish last time and they made it even easier this time, so I’m not sure why players are getting the Veteran.

Players who purchased Veteran pass on level 9 got 200K club points instead of 20K! Hutch only fixed the error by preventing it from happening again but incorrect rewards were not deducted from anyone, just like they did not deduct incorrect rewards from Season 2! Therefore the current ranking of ALL clubs who have anything to do with Veteran Pass is incorrect! This is how this season started!

With about 0 race tickets left for the h2h, and about 30 seconds to go on a ticket refill I clicked "show ad" to get the ad ticket. After watching the ad completely and closing the ad, the timer is back to about 59 minutes but my ticket count was only at 1. Either the timer ticket was not issued or the ad ticket was not issued... Not the first time this had happened to me either.
Not sure if this bug had already been reported but thought I'd share.

I've watched adverts twice with no reward. I watch an advert. Doesn't do anything, so I watch it again, then get the 1022 code of advert is already playing. I've pretty much given up on adverts during an H2H. It just freezes the game.

If you can see it, when it happens, try to include what company's Ad was running. They need people to fill in actual !bugbot report to document what all the issues are!

@raven spindle & @coarse bronze Now I am getting a series of Ads that Run but don't give credit for the "Free Cash" or the watch an Ad for gas. The Ads play through and just don't give any credit. When I try to launch them again, I get the 1022 Error, which is can't play an Ad when an Ad is already running error message. Then I have to exit the game, restart and try again. I got a chain of 10 Evony Ads in a row that did this and then a Bazooka Boy Ad, and then Evony again. Now I am stuck on Bazooka Boy Ads. None, not one worked. I am only getting the two Ads at the moment and I don't know why. I have now been trying for a hour to get my "Free Cash" and I got the cash just not the final Box and it will not give me a working Ad! It took over 90 minutes to get the final box finished!

Does anyone know on an Android Phone how I might clear either the game cache, or the Ad cache, or both?!? If I see another freaking Bazooka Boy Ad or Evony Ad I will snap...I have had nothing but those 2 malfunctioning Ads for over the last hour!

Don’t know about anyone else but my game is running slow right now, like Hutch’s sever is running on backup battery power or something. Everything takes way longer to do, get the spinning circle for every action. It’s not my device or internet, I checked, just this game. First time it’s happened to me like this 🤷‍♂️.

Correct. The last 10 minutes of the H2H rounds were overwhelmed by the user activity at one time. That obviously slowed down Hutch’s servers. A fairly serious flaw that probably impacted some last minute racers.

I don't recall where the conversation about decals, vehicle color and other customizations was, but after the Re-Ignite the Blazer: Round 2 H2H Race, I only got the 3 colors for the place I was in. The way I had read the patch notes was that I would get those 3 plus all the ones from the levels below me. I did not get those ones at all. I finished 7th in the event and was expecting the customizations from all the lower finishes as well. !bugbot report filed!

Yep, I had really bad lag in the last 30 minutes or so of the h2h, then after they ended, the game was back to normal. But we have had 5 h2h at the same time before without this really bad lag. I’m not sure what slowed Hutch’s server tonight.

I don’t know either, but they should look into it. They will have logs and system reporting to evidence the occurance. It did go back to normal right after the end of the H2H.

Well, it took about 30 minutes to process the 4 races that finished tonight as well. It took a long time compared to other events. I also noticed anything where the server side needed to do something it took much longer (on the order of 5 times as long or more) to do whatever the task was from the server. As you said, anything that involved the spinning circle was slow for me too, but it seemed to go on for a bit after the actual races finished.

Hi im having issues in rebel racer... Im trying to do the weekly challenge. It tells me do go to c class and do 5.6 and 6.3 however ihave raced c class so many times and those tracks are not there nor the races numbers are like 2.1 up... Not 5. Or 6. Anything. Pleasehelp

This issue needs to be fixed, and according to Unity, it is a Rebel Racing issue. Here is their response to my imquiry:

This MAJOR issue has been going on for way to long. Do a minor update to the game and get rid of Unity or fix the issue. No more responses that Unity is looking into and they made it a priority. No more the update in a month will fix it. FIX IT NOW!

Hi, I'm afraid the issue is still being investigated, so we don't have a solution at the moment. I never actually said that Unity were looking into it, so I think we've got crossed wires there. We use a third party ads solution that combines a lot of different ad providers together, one of which is Unity Ads. This is an issue that doesn't effect everyone, which is why we haven't removed Unity Ads from the selection progress. As soon as I get any updates, I will post them here. Thanks

I found the post and you mentioned the ad service. I assumed this meant Unity, thanks for clarifying its the 3rd party service.

I assume that not everyone who plays is on Discord and those that are may not even know how to report an issue. Based on my club members input it seems to be an Android issue on the US servers. I know it doesn't affect everyone, but still affects a large number of players.

Game strategy relies heavily on ads (H2H rematch, H2H tickets, cash, gas, and ladder tickets). If no ads were working that is one thing, but not to know if I am going to get an add from Unity or not makes it a complete guess if I should watch one or not. If I do get an Unity ad, I won't get rewarded, but I am sure that Hutch gets credit for me watching it.

Not to make a high priority for the huge number of players affected, but Hutch still gets the ad revenue, is not good customer service.

Why can't the Unity Ads be pulled until the issue is resolved? It not effecting everyone shouldn't be a reason to keep them up. This has been an issue FAR too long.

@restive cypress It should be a priority of Hutch to keep bothering the software company to fix it then. Other games that I play have Unity ads that work. You are blowing off a lot of players that give you money every month. You then said it doesn't affect everyone, so basically it's not a priority to Hutch to fix.

Not sure if you speak for everyone at Hutch or just yourself, so I tagged everyone at Hutch. Hopefully someone with some power sees this and realizes it does affect a lot of players and makes it a priority.

@coarse bronzeIt's clear - we get it, but that doesn't mean it still doesn't bother us a lot!
Think of it this way - even losing one race in a H2H can cost 10-30 gold and if you are a free player that can add up quickly. Then the need to spend gold for extra gas comes into play (because the ads are not providing it, for example) and it just gets even more frustrating. Then add that you have to buy Tickets to race (because the Ads don't add those either), and it's just time to snap! See how that might make a player a little more then a little irate? We get it's going as fast as it can but I think people are more then a little frustrated after about a month of this! That's how long I have been playing and that's about how long the Ads have been an issue (not that the 2 are related - I am just saying since I joined this has been an issue).

It has nothing to do with android itself. It's the providers fault.

In the beginning it was rare and then it was 50/50 and then it stopped working completely.

Just a minor update on ads.

If you're playing on Android, we would really appreciate it if you could force close the game, clear the game cache, and then monitor whether you receive a reward after watching an ad over the next 24hrs.

The ad team have made a change to their server backend which they hope will improve the issue of ads not giving a reward, whilst they continue to look for the problematic piece of code.

Please do note, this is specifically for the issue where a reward is not given after watching an ad, and the ad system then shows a 1022 error.

In other news, we've also been able to recreate and fix the issue where the game would get stuck on the splash screen (with the animated spinner showing on the bottom right corner), after successfully watching a H2H rematch ad.

Can someone test this. I have cleared cache before and it did not work but I have found a diffrent solution and disabled unity ads altogether. Haven't seen one for a week now. I will enable it when it's fully fixed.

Another add issue, button to close it is half cover and must be press several times to work.
