I received a Spyder out of 22 crates opened this season. I also have never received a K1 in almost 800 days of play and opening hundreds of gold crates - the only car I am missing (not counting Boss cars, which are a waste).

You know what might be nice? A reason to use that cool DeLorean I paid eight bucks for.

Racing it in D Easy Money is a loss, with close to $2000 less payout in game cash, and absolutely ZERO chance at resource drops, so that’s a no go. Free Daily Cup is basically a loss the moment you race, due to the prohibitive reward structure. Similarly, D Open and Trophy are a loss once you figure in the cash lost due to spending fuel on them.

How about a way to promote a car from one Tier to the next? Or letting cars into all Tiers? The S tier already consists of other tiers’ tracks anyway.

Get good at the daily and change your fortunes in this game. I win most of the time I play, I product about 90-100G a week! thru commercials, the Daily event and other extras.

Right! It was your comments that made me give it a try again the other day. I was having trouble justifying the loss of cash over Tier S Easy Money and what seemed to be a lower resource drop rate. And the fact that if you don’t hold place 1-3 your prize is cut in over half, from 11 gold to 5 gold. With top places having around 700 points, I wasn’t sure I wanted to spend about 30 races scrambling for something that might only be 5 gold. Do you buy the 1-gold ticket refills?

absolutely I buy the refills, otherwise I wouldn't win regularly, but I've gotten good at maximizing those tickets and keeping in the top 3. My 'net' daily may only be 9-10 gold but it beats the silver tier (5 gold) I've stopped buying anything with gold and I just save it for vehicles.

All we need is an example of actual start and end times for one city per server then we can work out what that means for us.

Times for each server are all set to start at the same time of day, so:

• Daily Cups: 12:00-19:00
• 1 Day Events: 08:00-20:00
• 2 Day Events: 08:00-20:00 (the following day)

If you are -9 hours ahead of the UK in SA, your events will be the times above. But if you're only -7 hours ahead of the UK, you will want to adjust the times by 2 hours.

The times are adjusted based on times for the biggest player bases. These times weren't ever going to suit everyone across SA and US as it is not possible to provide. But the majority of players will have a better race time, with preferred race times takes from the surveys.

Yep, that’s what I’ve been saying since Ian left and they changed the rewards. Getting 20th place is a huge loss, which means they designed a game that forces 81% of their customers to lose by simply playing. The h2h system is what killed this game. Players have been pointing it out since I started playing but it’s clear nothing will change.

Why get a car, why upgrade a car? To race it. If the h2h is broken the whole game is broken.

Principle #3: Make Sure You Have Balanced Gameplay Options

Principle #3— Violated. Once the original campaign is over, all Tiers below S Easy Money are practically useless, especially Tier D, which gives absolutely zero resource drops. What balanced reason is there ever to race there again? The novelty of racing different tracks doesn’t balance the loss in reward. And of course T&L is worse - a shame because the track design seems well thought out.

H2h are fundamentally imbalanced because each coiner ticket bundle is 10 chances to steal points from every other player. If you’re not spending, or spending as much, you’re on the imbalanced side. Tough luck. Go play S Easy Money.

Principle #4: Provide Regular Feedback and Rewards

Principle #4— Regular rewards would not have such a catastrophic dropoff at 20th place. That is definitely irregular rewards. Also, 2 resource keys as a ladder rung prize? Honestly, it’s insulting to see that card fly across that screen like it’s got a horn to toot. from the article: “Regular rewards give mini boosts of accomplishment in a long stretch of gameplay and allow the player to track their progress and reach for goals”

Principle #5: Give the Player a Meaningful Core Mission

For me this one is the biggest loss. I had some of the most gaming fun I’ve had climbing up through this game’s original campaign. For me, it had a meaningful core mission. This hodgepodge collection of events has a certain multiplayer novelty, but there’s no meaningful core mission.

The main thing we need to do, which I’ve suggested for almost a year, is to have two versions of all the gold h2h. One with ticket buying, one without. Let the coiners fight among themselves, they care about points not racing. Then the rest of us can actually race.

I don't think so. I think what really needed is a real random matching of opponents. If it is random, every one with similar completion time should have equal chance to be picked by the system but not the same person keep being challenged by others. The current system assigns designated opponents to a player until either side recorded a very different completion time. It is a really poor matching system but save computing resource.

Play for free through getting the S tier car, then decide if you want to keep going. It’s definitely a p2w, but you can get some stuff by just playing. If you are into a lot of car colors and decals then you won’t find it here. Most customizations are insanely expensive.

So that everyone is informed… it seems there is a mistake on the new Tier A Chatham acquisition. If you desire to fuse Rebel is asking for too much fusion credits and fusion fodder. Hutch should take a look at this and fix it… I would recommend until this is fixed before you fuse or you will be paying extra and Hutch will be very happy for it 👍🏼… not you 🤷🏻‍♂️

The fact that the Union Jack was represented as a more powerful version of the standard 620R is what made the Rebel Pass worth buying. Now if it is going to be the same as the other 620R, the Rebel Pass was a waste, and Hutch has again deceived their customers to expect something more than what they are actually going to receive.

With Resource Runs now worthless, H2H only worthwhile for mega-coiners, ladders worthless, Trophies and Opens not worth the fuel, and T&L dropping 1/8 the resources vs. time invested, what’s left to do in my favorite race game? S Easy Money over and over fishing for resources basically.

Yes, you are completely correct. It’s why we lose players every month. We keep explaining it to Hutch but they are convinced that getting all the money from a couple hundred ticket buyers is all that matters. They don’t understand that when they reduce rewards a lot, it doesn’t make us spend more on the game. It in fact makes us play less so we actually end up spending less and watching less ads. It’s basic economics 101, the price elasticity curve. They effectively raised prices and lowered rewards so much that sales volume keeps dropping.

So how is everyone carrying along now that the game is unplayable? I still love my cars and the art package Ben, Sinead, and Graham created. I used to budget about $50 a month but at this point I’m spending nothing, fishing in EZ$ for resources to upgrade my Spyder. The following is a proposal only, we need feedback from players here to say if they want the changes or not.

Hutch has said they will consider a reorder of tracks in the game. There are no new tracks or removal of tracks, just a better order to make them easier to find for the Pass tasks. The proposal also allows you to practice all the tracks in the tier for most areas which we can’t do now. It also makes it much less repetitive when we are using our gas. We tried to avoid any track repeating right after itself or appearing in the same row.

Tier S road is unchanged. All other road tiers have been reordered. All tiers in Mini and off road have all available tracks. In T&L tracks couldn’t be added or moved, so the tiers have just been reordered to avoid duplicates. We have asked to have the missing 2.4 track added to C tier.

Your idea is reasonable, simple, and easy to do, if the top clubs asked for it I assume they would do it. However, getting a car for bronze keys would be a complete reversal of what Hutch has been doing so I don’t see why they would do it when they have rejected every idea making the game more playable. I would love to get cars for bronze and silver keys, but it seems unlikely given the fact they are completely ignoring hundreds of players boycotting or drastically reducing spending this month. We are asking for some reasonable changes to the game to make it playable, their answer has been “no, the game will get more expensive.”

I was never expecting Hutch to react mid season to the boycott. I think they will wait until it's over to see what overall affect (if any) it has had. Unfortunately, I think many who started with good intentions lost their will and caved. If it became a regular action - let's say every other season - they might start to get a little squirmy. Hitting their ad revenue is a big deal but, again, will take time to have an effect. The sponsors would have to see a significant decrease in viewings to pull them.

The algorithm for the drop rates is also very broken (possibly fraudulent) as I (and others) often hit the limit on some and never have enough of others. I have been doing mostly and some and easy money, depending on what gaps, about 40-50 a day (getting very dull). In the last 6-8 weeks I’ve had over 43 where the resource is full 🤷‍♂️🤦‍♂️

Boss cars are useless I’ve been going back and forth with Nico and Matt about that junk Ernestos Subaru that you have to race you win the car in a B tier race and Ernesto is using a A tier Subaru but if you get the Subaru it can’t be upgraded to the next level it can’t be sold it can’t be used to fuse with and it doesn’t have enough power to keep up with the slowest A tier cars and it can’t be used in a B tier race and customer support refuses to do anything about it other than to call you a stupid chump!!!!!

So at no time after that foolish move did I waste my money on any of the road cars now the boss K 5 can be upgraded and is worth it plus it stays in the tier that you won it in.

You can still use the WRX for the boss race... It's easy. But if you want a good C tier car, the Focus is what many use... '15 Subaru is also decent but it's available in crates... Overall the Subaru Custom is the best which we can only buy on some occasions...

Wrx is enough to beat the C tier boss... @craggy fractal but when you have enough cash/Keys/resources in the future... You can go for the best cars in respective tiers...

Every season when a new manufavturer is added, they give out Silver Booster crates which has augments for that manufacturer so people save Silver keys for them... And Gold Keys are one of the most valuable thing in the game... Never waste them.

Bronze Keys you can use if you want... They too sometimes give golds and good augs.

That is good information I wish I had the opportunity when I first started playing this game I would have never gotten rid of any of the cars that I upgraded that was my first big mistake in this game because you never know when there will be a ladder or h2h requiring that particular car and if you upgrade it and then use it for fusing then you will have to buy or use resources and that can get very pricey if you don’t have them never use a car for fusion food that you have upgraded and you will go far in this game and not be upset with yourself

None of the cars you get from beating bosses are very good, just upgrade them enough to beat the next boss until you get the S car. Don’t worry about beating the ladders, you can do that latter. You want to get the S car so you can use your gas there. After that worry about getting and upgrading better cars.

Recruiting happens all the time. If you are a top racer, teams are going to contact you to switch. Take it as a compliment. If the player is happy on their team, they will stay. I changed teams after the Beta season, but have been with the same team every season since even though all of the top teams have tried to recruit me to change teams.

Don’t pay gold for resources, just use as much gas as possible everyday in easy money and you will get the resources you need. You can try all the boss races and ladders for each area too, they drop resources also.

Don't worry about the ladders , you can always come back & finish them later when you have a better car in future

Gold keys are the most important ones: obtained from the shop, h2h events , ladder events and sometimes daily rewards give gold keys - its hard to collect gold keys so be careful before you use them

Silver & bronze keys are rather easy to obtain

these are not lot of keys, save Gold and Silver keys for special offers, you can use the bronze keys when ever you want. But for Gold keys I would suggest to build a stock of 800/1000 before you start using them. If you spend little and play smart you could be progressing rather quickly compared to other users...

well in theory no ; as of today they hold no significant value - you can keep building the stock for them too if you want. You hardly get anything nice from it anyways 🙂
