In all seriousness, why is the game economy suffering from this extreme inflation in Hutch’s favor? Ladders used to retun 40% of the gold entry and enough keys, fusion points, and/or augments to make them worthwhile. Now it seems the gold return is a little over 10% of the entry and the everything else is quite minimal (unless someone needs fusion points, which I do not). The D Opens are the only ones that are okay, but that is not enough to keep players engaged. Lots and lots of events does not equal player happiness. Events that are challenging and rewarding are what we seek, but the game economy continues to dramatically decline.

To everyone got this from our good old friend who got muted, cuz Hutch member’s can’t handle the truth. This is what hutch is doing with us.
-Porsche Cup shootout h2h, and tier B shootout h2h: 10th place is breakeven, 20th place is a huge loss. Result: do not enter either unless confident you get 9th or better. You lose a lot of cash vs. easy money.
-Zonda, 720s ladder is breakeven at best, only worth entering if you have too much gold and need the fusion.
-Porsche Cup Ladder: net loss, do not enter.
-Every Resource Run so far is not worth entering.
-Both tier D Open ladders are net free, you lose cash, but they are worth entering.
-Tier D 1963 Mini ladder: net loss, do not enter.
-Tier S Super Shootout h2h: 10th place is a large net loss. Result: do not enter.
-Zonda 720s h2h: 10th place is breakeven, don’t enter unless you know you can get 9th or better.
-Tier D Trophy: net loss of cash vs, easy money is quite large. Only worth entering for chance at s6 if you don’t need cash for fusion.

The event appears to have been fixed. It may be worth it to those who need fusion credits. The fact that Hutch didn't make it even worse is unfortunately the surprising part.

These still are not “normal“ rewards. Only 39 gold instead of 200 (which is the formula that used to apply - 40% of the entry fee) awarded, and keys are less than they used to be. The rest of the rewards are in line wth the past and good. Thus, Hutch’s inflation is an additional 141 gold to get less keys and similar augments, resources, and fusion. That is a 54% price increase for this one event, and this is actually a better deal than almost all of the other events they have recently posted.

Pretty much matches my own choices: Porsche A shootout (entered because I’m hopeful of top 9), 720S ladder (entered only for McLaren FC, wouldn’t again/otherwise), Porsche Ladder (avoided because nothing there needed - tonnes of A augments from season), D open ladders (enter because small rewards but free), S Super shootout (undecided - need to feel confident of a high place because rewards so concentrated and 4am end time a problem), 720s (will probably enter as hopefully of top 9 and probably small pools as the cars are rare). 🤷‍♂️

Oh, you’re right. If it requires fusion, forget it. I wanted the S augment for my Chiron (which is fused) but my Veyron isn’t. As you said, it’s too expensive now to fuse the Veyron just for this.

IMO game was imbalanced from the start ~ f2p players could progress easily without spending a dime ... which should not have been the case ~ if it was balanced back then we would not be going through this today .... that's my personal assessment/observation.

For future i am pretty certain only way to have a reasonable progress in game would require spending ~ regardless f2p or p2p.

But they would not have achieved the user numbers/adoption rate without making it possible for F2P to enjoy the game. Hutch used these user numbers to boost their company’s valuation as part of their sale. I think your assessment is correct, but Hutch would not have achieved their growth numbers without unacceptable levels of churn. I would have deleted the game within a couple of weeks if the current game economy was in effect when I started two years ago. Thus, this transition to P2P looks like a bait and switch and calls into question Hutch’s integrity. It would be like the UK printing trillions of GBP and creating inflation that made your life miserable (oh, I guess that is happening). That is what Hutch is doing.

I think the next season is going to be a deal breaker for a lot of long-term players. If Hutch get it wrong, I think many will walk.

I am just getting annoyed that all the 'prize' cars are custom versions that you can rarely use anywhere other than the races in that season. Every competition seems to have gone up in price and down in rewards. Now we have 1000 gold competitions....

I rather have the performance of the boss cars balanced so they become similar to the ones in the same tier that are maxed but not fused

which means performancewise the Escort as maxed 1* Tier C car, the Mustang as maxed 2* Tier B car, the 22B as maxed 3* Tier A car, the 570S as maxed 4* Tier S car and the Chiron as maxed 5* Tier S car (which I think is already)

it would be worth the price and/or effort

you can have a quick progress without having to upgrade any car at the start

but you can't use it to rush through the boss races because of PP limitation

also it's extra bonus on points makes it useful

I am trying to confirm the top PP for the 2015 RUF 3800 S. I believe it may be 387 PP after Stage 4. Has anyone gotten a higher PP than that for Stage 4 for this car? I want to figure out if it's worth it to save gold to buy it. I have a BMW M2 Competition at 390 PP that I bought for cash. I originally thought the cars for gold were 'better' than the cars for cash but this apparently isn't the case.

I found out the hard way the 2015 Subaru WRX STI for gold has LESS PP than the 2016 Ford Focus for cash! both Tier C cars. I don't want to make the mistake of buying the RUF 3800 if the BMW M2 has more PP after stage 4. what is your stage 4 PP for your RUF?

PP does not always tell the story, that’s why it’s best to ask here. I can only tell you the max PP for the 3800s, it’s 415.

My M2 is only stage 3@405 so can’t compare but my RUF is faster than my 911Turbo on all tracks. Porsche has 18xA augs, 3800S only 6xA. Both PP415. M2 max is 413. Had one once but used it for fusion and bought another!!

But before the update my show cars were focused on an A-tier car that is being fused so now I cannot get passed the Ava announcement screen without paying 3K gold to speed up the fuse. Wow! RR has grown up! The long track races are great! If they ever let us race the other cars on these long multiple lap tracks I'll never play the little sprint races anymore!

I completed the task to beat Tamera and I'm half way thru the ladder so far...gotta take a break! I have never been actually tired racing before! Lol

Fixed. I installed RR on to another device to get past the modal screens. Then I could use my primary device again. Which reminds me.... I really wish car customisations were persisted on all devices. Just like scores, levels, resources, keys etc are.

FYI do not have a fusing car on your garage display floor before you update. You won’t be able to play at all until the fusing is completed. I figured out a workaround, so if someone gets stuck on a fusing car, send me a message and I can help you get out of the loop.

Any word on how to get fusion crystals for the new cars? I know we'll have to go thru those new fusion boxes but I have no idea how to get those funny colored keys! There are none available in any of the ladders currently available. I'm stuck on ladder rung 17 until I can fuse this little guy.

Yep, we are all in the same boat. We just have to wait until Hutch does a ladder with fusion, or events that give fusion keys. Usually new cars get their own ladder with fusion in it. I’m not sure why there isn’t one listed for the 1600.

You get 138 points for daily grind race on the new tracks for a 2 min race. You get 100 points using a tier s off road but it only takes you 30 seconds.
Which is better? Spending 2 mins for 138 points or 30 seconds for 100?
With regeneration time for races tickets being considered what's the best use of our time?

It terms of time and resources, easy money S or off road is far far better than the new T&L. It’s one quarter the time and double the chance at resources, that’s like 800% better lol. But obviously given the limited amount of gas the new tracks do give 38% more club points. Although that’s small compared to the huge number of points they are putting in some events.
