@hidden adder Are you guys getting anywhere regarding race times? I am on the UK/European server and all the races finish at 5am. I can't waste money on h2h competitions knowing that while I am asleep I am going to wake up in morning several places lower. Why is the end time always the same? I am getting very frustrated with the ever increasing costs to play this game and its not on an even playing field. Unless some changes are made soon I (and my wallet) will be leaving.

The S shootout rewards structure is the exact opposite of what we have been asking. The top 9 don’t need more, the 19th and 39th brackets do. But of course you took our suggestions and gave us the exact opposite. You are clearly trying to get players to quit. I agree with others here that this game has just become a sad joke and you just have to laugh at how bad it is.

As an end game player with most of my cars nearing max, I don't often enter H2H events to begin with. 😅 But if I was a new player and was pulling in 20-40 gold a week, it might be fun to enter a H2H that's not full of end game players looking to play just for the prizes.

Does the water hazards on the various tracks produce drag on the cars momentum like it would in real life?
In particular 5.7 River Run track. Is there any difference in speed driving right down the middle of the river as compared to going to the left hand side and only having very little water to drive through?

I think it does. Theres a clear speed/acceleration difference when you are in the river vs regular ground.

It does!! If you look at the track 5.6 Finish Line Splash, there's a small splash of water before the finish line. If your boost ends before the water ends, it can be the difference between a win and a loss in an H2H race!

There are sections of it you can exit the water and pick up a bit of speed, then there's the section that's outside of the water. Plenty of different spots you could use your boost, but finding out the right one is key.

The dragback from driving through water is less visible as you upgrade your trucks, though, so it may be harder to notice it at higher upgrades. 😅

And in River Run, you're driving with the river, not against it, right...? 🤔

In 5.4 White Water Rapids, there's a bit of water running around the 3rd corner (I think it was.) If you take the corner close and go in the water, it feels like there's a slight boost in speed. At least, that's what I've noticed.

Try 5.4 with the D-Tier Chevy. You'll feel the water/mud slow you down when you hit it!

If you hit a corner with the water flowing the same direction as your going (downstream as opposed to upsyream) you can get a pretty noticeable sling shot off that corner that I dont think I have been taking advantage of.

These long events aren't going to be the norm replacing Manufacturer and other types of events. They will be back as the new "Evergreen" events every week, from the new update.
Josie has set these up to run them all simultaneously this week and next for some interim content before the update.

In the new update we have new tech that will allow us to run a lot of "Evergreen" events and a number of Manufacturer and Other Event types. Where we have previously been restricted with what we can put on simultaneously before.

We hear u on the low cost low rewards ratio for conversion... but most are looking at this from a time perspective to volume/quantity ratio... 3.5 days... even 36hrs is long time to turn 20 gold into 1 gold key... most players aren't getting out of bed for less than 10 gk... it would be more worthwhile of time invested if entry was 100 and the reward was at least 5 gk...

The secondary issue is that regardless entry/reward ratio is that you still need to finsh top 19 to get the gk... so not exactly a straight conversion opportunity.... a lot of players find that cutoff too high to risk their time and entry fee investments for rewards that they're not confident they'll be able to attain.

@steep halo This is correct, its called Planning ahead and strategic thinking, key when you are playing a game which is based on resources, levels, etc. Something that its becoming more and more difficult if rules are being changed everyweek. This started months ago agter the first fusion changes, and it still hasnt stopped. Nobody can plan what to do with their cars, resources, parts, gold, cash, keys, etc beacuse we dont have a clear path going fwd, every week everything can change without notice. People will eventually get tired of the game inconsistencies.

Yeah this is really a shame. When I joined this discord I was surprised at the backlash against Hutch, but now I get it. Like, you need a feeling of achievement and satisfaction to enjoy a game. The original campaign did this well. It introduced you to some colorful characters and showed you a clear path to achieving a series of goals with increasing rewards, leading to a sense of satisfaction when you reached the top of a ladder or the end of a boss and got a large and special prize. Yes, I suspected you might be a new player. The original main campaign of this game is fantastic. Enjoy it! I did immensely. Once you finish, though, you’ll have all these nice cars you worked and sometimes paid for, and nothing to do with them but unsatisfying events where it’s too easy for some players to crush you to bits just by buying first through tenth place, and miserable rewards left for those who aren’t willing to pay up nearly as much. We are practically begging Hutch to balance THOSE economics, and while the shootout is a nice starting attempt, h2h is fundamentally economically unbalanced.

For instance, I’d love to race the Trans Am in a h2h, but economically I don’t stand a chance because it’s not the top PP car. To even think about entering any h2h, you’re gonna need the best-performing car in each tier, maxed out, with all the highest augments. And then you’ll always be at a disadvantage to players who have been playing longer and gotten all the resources and fusion credits. It’s so fundamentally unbalanced it’s ridiculous, but they are only concerning themselves with whether they should give out 25 gold or 13 gold.

That’s not what they need to balance.

A lot of us have been playing this game for over a year or close to it... a constant jerk back and forth with drastic monthly changes (many without any prewarning and silent nerfs) that dramatically alter the way u have to play the game making it impossible to plan and strategize for the long term.

I agree this is true... i have spent a grand total of 99 pennies in this game... but the grinding can get arduous... u have to be really dedicated and accept the lesser results... u cant get all the cars... max them out... or participate in all the events... and some events u will not be able to be competitive (meaning top 9) in ... this is disheartening to some... but i enjoy the challenge... but i also have to be choosey what i participate in and which cars to get and how far to upgrade... grind scrape skimp and save to get by... but to do this successfully u need a long term strategy... which is difficult with all the unannounced changes and "rebalacing"... each time i have a 2 or 3 month plan.... they change things to the point u have to scrap that idea and start over... have had to do that 5 times already in past 8 months 🤦‍♂️

Now also you need to understand , if hutch continue to let our teammates in the selection and no choice this become a nightmare. In a average of 50 racers or more you are facing always your team in season and in off season. Hutch algorithm should give you 6 selection , 2 for 10, 2 for 20, and 2 for 30 points .
In each you will have one of your team and one opponent. Then you decide to help your team or to race your opponent

What a scam of a game. Reached the first boss, the D tier one and the pink slip race is impossible without paying for super nos which he has. The game doesn’t say the race is impossible, it says the race is very difficult. I had a Silvia maxed out with no fusions which seemed like it would do fine. I now regret the €1 i spent on the starter pack.
