Serious question, does anyone think the new Smash event is worth the real money it costs? I know the old Smash events were a bad deal, just a waste of money. This one does seem slightly better but I’m wondering if the three or four dollars you have to spend are worth the few rewards?

It took me 5 goes to get 3 star . Can’t remember exact prizes but 15 Ford FC, 35 Subaru and 50 Chevy. An A Mini augment I was missing and some B augments. Also some gold (40 or 50 I think). I think I could probably do it in 4 goes with practice but you need to get 7 out of 8 45p boxes to get 3 star. I think so needs a few tries. 5 races is 500 gold so not cheap (overall rewards on a 500 gold ladder or H2H probably better) but good for top up fusion credits.

I don’t mind spending money, but I want it to be worth what I’m paying. So I will pay for the Pass, I buy gold sometimes, the off road crate is a nice addition. But the Smash seems expensive as it is now. Random small amounts of fusion can’t be used a lot of the time, so that’s not much help. If you have to pay say $10 over two or three smash events it seems that 14 bronze key crates would give you more rewards for the same price. But the free run is nice, no complaints about that.

rather than wait for your device to show the update, go into search on apps; find rebel racing and then click on it, it will say when the last update has been. Often it is ready to update but it's just that your phone system doesn't register it for some time.

Also the D road h2h in the game events tab says nothing about it being only for levels 1 to 10. That should be added to the game events tab so players aren’t wondering why it doesn’t appear in their game.

I thought they were going to label the tracks so we can actually do the challenges on purpose? How do know and find the track in order to complete the dailies and weeklies?
Are we just racing easy money races on all tiers and hoping that it somehow crosses off the task?

The starting number of the track tells you the tier, D is 1, C is 2, B is 3, A is 4. Off-road is 5 and mini 6. Now that you know the tier, go to easy money and click the 3 pp boxes to look for the name at the bottom. If it’s not there you have to waste a gas to run a race. Then recheck the thee pp boxes to see which three tracks are available until you find it. I will make a spreadsheet at some point since I have to do Hutch’s work for them lol, but it will take time.

Overall it’s definitely a good idea. Some bugs have been reported, but nothing too serious. The main issue I feel, and others have expressed, is the frustration with impossible tasks. A weekly that is impossible just sits there laughing at you for weeks. So, and I know I haven’t brought this up before, but re roll of weekly for next month would be great. Plus adding some way for us to pay for more frequent gas would be a big help.

I dig the pass... it's a fun addition... however many players including myself would love to see an ez$ arena... like the mini airport... a central location or menu where u could pick any and every ez$ track with whatever car u currently have selected... this would make it easier for all to find tracks and complete challenge races... without having to do 60 odd races at a lower tier that have no significance just to get that track u need to cycle back around... plus would keep players more engaged longer by being able to drive any of their cars on any track anytime they want.

Yes, there is a bug so to speak with the same or very similar tasks being offered. They should put something in so they don’t overlap.

I’m really digging the pass and I’m even ok with having to search/race through several tracks to get to the one I need. It’s part of it, part of “the hunt” and strategizing on how best to use my gas. I do think the Pass is giving us ample time to complete the tasks. I know that might be heresy to some, but I think Hutch has a real winner with this Rebel Pass and some fine tuning will make it even better!

Zod, I get your point but I’d point out that we had two ladders and the pass today and I got through all the daily tasks and also several of the weekly ones (and obviously I have six more days for the rest of the weekly). Granted H2H is much more gas intensive but also some of the tasks (some, not all) will be fulfilled in the course of the H2H races.

It’s a good addition and makes us race cars and tracks we had forgotten. A few suggestions:
(1) label the Tier of each Track in a task so it’s easier to find them (2) allow switching of weekly tasks for cash (more than daily) and (3) remove upgrading as a task (like you did with fusion) as it’s not testing driving skill and can be frustrating for those with mainly upgraded cars.

@chrome lynx - RE Rebel Pass -I haven't hit any problems yet with it & think it's good fun & can work for everyone (free or paid) so thumbs up. - Although quite a few people seem to dislike the upgrade/fuse requirement. Which can be a bit tricky for newer players without many cars or cash. - What would be good for the future is if you did bring back some sort of fuse value on cash cars. So if you do need to buy a car to upgrade and complete a task, it will have some use afterwards. Even if it only gave half the normal fusion points or something like that.

You need to complete 50 levels. Also you don't have to complete entire day or week for the individual tasks to count. For example I'm already at level 16 with completing two dailies and the weekly (22 tasks). So doing the math you should be fine over a month unless it requires a lot more tasks to knock off a level. At least that's my take. Someone can tell me if I'm wrong?

Really depends on the player. Many people on Discord have played awhile, have a good number of cars, and use a lot of gas. A much better representation would be how many players total started it vs. finished it. I’m guessing quite a few players find it much harder than players on Discord. But I’m ok if you make it slightly harder in exchange fir bringing back the last cash fusion setup we had with 51 fodder for an upgraded D 😀😁👍.

My club has mediocre participation probably because people don't care anymore. We are in the 60s and no way will compete with the big spenders. Yeah I've heard about the F2P team; apparently they have a really strict code of conduct that has to be adhered to without fail. I tried to get in touch but they are a bit mysterious, like the knights templar of rebel racing. Don't know who they are, but certainly the coolest team out there by a long way.

You get the points for each task as you complete it. I don't believe there is anything for completing the entire challenge. So 9 out 10 tasks is still a good thing.

@verbal knoll I’d suggest putting something in tips or faq explaining that you don’t have to do every daily or every weekly challenge. Only thing that matters is total points. Technically you can get to 50 with zero weekly, but I think some players are just assuming there is some actual need to finish every task that comes up.

Ian said here that you can get to 50 from just daily, but yes you have to do almost all hard tasks. It’s just simple math, get to 225k any way you want. 225k/28 days is 8035 points per day, you can get as many as 9k if you do all hard tasks in daily. But I agree the Pass should have an info button to state that it’s just total points, you can skip a decent number of tasks and still make it.
