What is the the use in heavily limiting chances to play.... 8 races per full fuel tanks... That means I check in once a day, if at all, and never buy anything because the devs are making it so obvious that they don't actually want anyone to play.

I know you think "it'll make them spend more!".... No, not really. The game has to be enjoyable and engaging. I find it hard to believe that you think a few 10 second races are going to keep anyone playing.

You can’t really move ahead in the game without using your gas all day. You need to be able to get to the game about once per hour. There is no grinding opportunity for f2p like there is in other games.

It’s 1.25% * 4 = 5% chance of an S tier. The Spyder crate was lower, 3% chance, because the cars were reduced to .75%.

Every time you open it has 1.25% chance of giving you S car ( which could be either of 4 )

Each car has its listed percentage. There is a 1.25% chance of getting a specific S car, a 5% chance of getting any S car.

You can add them up, it’s 100%. So for S it’s 5%, A is 44%, off-road 11%, B is 40%. Although I swear I get more B than A lol. My problem was not in missing out on a specific S tier, it was that I opened probably more than 60 that contain S tier, and never received any S tier. Obviously possible, but extremely unlikely.

Experience tends to suggest to me that the stated percentages are inaccurate but I would be interested to know the experiences of others. In particular, for stages 2, 3 and 4, the "left" part appears far more frequently than the "right" part.

I find the same thing. However, some of it is because some (lower tier) cars only need the “right side” resources to upgrade, so those get used up more.

The resource doesn’t make much sense to me either, the resources cost 290 gold if you were to buy them as you need them vs 300 gold to get random resources.

Unfortunately I’ve never seen a Resource Ladder than I could recommend. Ten random resources, some of which you won’t need, at almost the same price as just buying them simply doesn’t make sense. I assume a lot of non discord players who don’t know much about the game enter them, otherwise I have no idea why Hutch keeps doing them.

Some give out more than advertised, not sure if that’s a bug or intentional. I did one a few weeks ago that gave out 10 stage 2 pistons and 10 stage 2 gear knobs as well as the advertised prizes ... I neglected to report as a bug 😂

If the game puts the maximum settings on your Motorola, it can cause some crashes, so the graphic is not so high on your phone.

I was only able to see the game at its maximum quality when I bought the S9, before I had a Moto G5 and the graphics quality was very close to what is on your cell phone!

Currently active is less than 300. I think a lot of players are hesitant to get discord, they don’t know what it is. We had to talk many new players into joining discord from the in game chat on another game. There’s is a lot of suspicion with downloading an app they are not familiar with. Does anyone know the official drop rate for "resources" earned while grinding away at the easy money races?
This morning I played 24 easy money races (I played all tiers s thru d and a couple of off road races)
Only revieved 2 "resources" both T2 for my troubles.

I never really kept track of the payout on these before because they seemed to come at a decent rate and decent quality for what I was doing.

Just curious if this has changed recently or is this the expectation we have always played with.

When you go to your garage, there is a button, where you can see your stock of resources. Clicking on a specific item gives the chances of dropping in the different races.

A lot of people complain, that the drops are unbalanced and too low.

Easy money as has the best total % drop rate, it’s the same as double payout at 19.92%. If you want more of a specific level resource you can go through each drop rate and see which easy money is best. I tracked many hundreds of races and while I believe the rate is not as high as advertised, it’s not a lot lower. The problem comes in that I don’t think the various parts are evenly distributed. They say they are but that’s not my experience. Most of us are near max on one part and almost none of another. Resources are not evenly required either which makes the situation worse.

For what I've learned after I started keeping count of bonus resources is that 56 races is not enough to expect an accurate 20% drop rate. Even a 100 races is not enough. There can floods and droughts of 20 or 30 races at a time with 30-40% drop rate or 0-10%.

I would keep it. I would NOT fuse the 2017 Ford GT. It is a cash car and can’t be used as fusion fuel for other S tier cars. The RUF can be used in the future to fuse an S tier car you get from a gold key crate in the future.

With how this game was drastically restructured a few months ago you either need to commit long term and be VERY patient, or just play a little and get out quickly. Unfortunately you can’t field a competitive top tier car quickly in this game. We’re talking months (plural)

If you’re only going to play short term and mainly F2P I’d pass for now. If you’re going to play for a while I’d do it because the events come with 10 race tickets to start, so you’ll find yourself always short on gas with 8. But if you’re patient has gas refills every 12 minutes so it’s not a huge deal but I think you’ll find all the high performing players bought this option long ago

Only players who pay money into the game, and can’t use their gas every hour should buy that. The 1100 gold you could buy for the same price is better if you can use your gas all day. Right now using gas isn’t very helpful once you have played awhile. Experience and cash are useless after level 100.

In total, it’s relatively close given enough races. But I believe the individual parts are not given out at the right rates. We all seem to end up with more of certain parts than others. Hutch says that is not true, we say they have a bug, they don’t believe us. The problem is I would need unlimited gas to actually prove the individual parts rates are off.

How do I make my races hard instead of easy

The easy money races are there to help you build up cash to upgrade your car. Double points are a bit harder. It will become clearer when the Head2Heads start up again after next week. Then you race against other peoples ghosts, so no contact. You will choose between three other peoples times to win points. Others may then race against your time and if they beat you, you lose points. Wait and see. In the mean time just learn the tracks and find the best way for you to get the best time. At the moment you have to avoid the AI cars (not sure about the I in that!! They just follow a preset line and take you out if you get in their way)

How do I get into other harder races

Have you completed the ladder and beat the Boss yet. If so it will open up Tier C. You may need to think what you want out of this game. If you want to play for free, that is fine. If you want to collect all the cars, you may want to pay to win the Boss car. You dont get another chance. Otherwise be patient and wait for next week. In the meantime try to progress through tier C, B, A then S to get faster cars and more tracks. Check out discussions in the Tier chat and Car channels for advice on best cars etc.

Ah ok. Those cars are following a preset path. You need to work out which way they are going to go and avoid. Sometimes boosting before they turn gets you past, other times let them turn and then boost past. Also depends on what level your car is at. Look at the result and compare your Pp with the winner. If it is much higher than yours, you probably wont win anyway. Upgrade your car to maximum. Later you will get Fusion points from ladders which takes the car to the next stage, you have to sacrifice other cars to do this tho. Worry about that later tho. This is one of the challenges of the game.

My theory is that this will be an attempt to "balance" resources by requiring the same number of individual parts from the same parts group so our inventories aren't so lopsided... the catch is there are going to be more parts required overall... like for example instead of not needing any air filters and just 2 pistons for c cars u will now need 3 air filters 3 fuel filters, 3 pistons and 3 micro chips... and 3 of everything else... ☹️
