I have not seen any in-game messages from hutch about the changes. Even we would have been unaware if someone didn't question Ian about cash cars. That's when he revealed he is planning to make them useless.

I remember when they did the last major update for the crates they sent in-game message to player to prepare the garage. This time nothing. Even we didn't know cash car will worth little when they did the first club update.

The game literally has millions of download. They should have sent a message about all the changes just like when they told us about the Bugati moving to gold crates and other crate changes.

Yes, that colour is called "Shadow" and there is a Shadow body paint to match it - if you scroll through the body colours, you'll see it in the same order at the end
