I think it mainly has to do with the ladders. Often, it would show a particular type of car needed to enter, but never inform you that, as soon as you beat the stage that gave you fusion points, you were required to have a fused car to continue. The number of stars were never mentioned. Now they are.

I think display issue might occur previously. Let's say there are 2 criteria after you get the first fusion credit: Lotus Evija and 4 stars or higher. Previously the display might show Lotus Evija unticked and 4* or higher ticked which was not right since you have the car but just not fused

Yes it is very normal - drop rate is 20% which you will achieve by doing some more races - sometimes you may get 3 resources in 5/10 races which balances it out.

Yes, we have tested it, the slightly below 20% drop rate is accurate, but only over time. I’ve done over 30 races and received zero, other times I get 4 in 10 races. A key part of this game is using a lot of fuel everyday. You will get a lot of cash and resources over time.

I didn’t get a car for beating her, and as far as I can see there’s only replaying Easy Money in S left for me to do on repeat & play the Free daily cup in D.

What am I meant to do now,,genuine question, as I can’t see how I’m now meant to progress any further in the game. I feel like there must be more and I’m missing out.

There’s NO WAY I’m paying £8.99 (or more) cash for a car, I’m not knocking those that do, that’s their choice, but I’ve got access to my PlayStation all day long and can buy 2nd hand racing games cheaper for that than I can for 1 car here.

You can still progress for free quite easily, it will simply take a lot longer. You can do the free daily, watch the 5 adverts, do the daily test drive, collect the free rewards ... all will give keys and gold in limited amounts. Easy money will build cash and resources.

With the gold you earn above you can then enter the gold entry events.

Consider this ... how do you think Hutch pays thier staff, how do you think they pay for the servers that run the games? I'm not debating on whether you feel it's good value or not but at some point ALL game creators need to make money from the game and like most games there is a free tier so that you can try the game, I think RR actually gives a reasonable amount for free.

Whales make the money for the games companies, and whales need krill (the F2P)

I’ve spent my fair share at Hutch games, my roster in puzzle heist is probably the best of any player there. I’d imagine it’s about a £6k account.

I just honestly couldn’t see where I was going with this game if I was F2P as it seems after a week I’ve gone as far as I can and am now in the realms of repeating the same D tier parts on a daily basis.

And I wouldn’t worry about their profits, they do alright

You just have to grind away a lot, hoard and save for the right thing ... don't blow gold or keys without careful consideration. You can eventually get to a point where cafeul choices keep it f2p. You won't be able to catch legacy players up without spending though. Work out the events that give best return (i.e. swapping gold for gold keys)

This is a seasonal game... you get new cars every 6 weeks or so ... you can get as many you like / afford - upgrade them race them and move on / get ready for next season .

For majority veteran players this is very easy game as we have build our inventories very well.

For new players like yourself, if you want to carry on - you will need to get atleast 1 seasonal car , Pro pass - join a top 10 /20 team -

You will get a free club prize car , rebel pass car and season car all these have free ladder / h2h events which return a decent amount of Gold & Gold Keys

With little money spent sensibly it's not hard to progress in this game. Again it depends what you want and how well you like to progress and ofc how quickly.

You seem to be one of the brighter people contemplating jumping into this game. Most don’t achieve the insights about what they might be getting into. If you are not going to spend 10 quid per month, then this game is not for you. I have been playing 3 years, and have and can manage an enjoyable experience on that budget. For a new player you will be the krill as you pointed out. You will need to gain satisfaction running a few repeated events while watching the rest of the world spend money and seemingly have a better experience. It is better to drop this game and move on rather than be fodder for others in my opinion.

But anyone skipping cars can take solace in the fact that new cars aren’t designed based on reality, their stats are just copied and pasted from another car in the game. So we have two different h2h matching algorithms running simultaneously right now. I don’t think that has ever happened before. Best I can figure is the club S is running an old algo, while the daily D is the new one but changed a bit. Based on that we could have a road h2h algo and a different T&L algo at the same time 🤷‍♂️.

@last pecan Have you checked in CUSTOMIZE / DECAL yet? As I recall you need to beat the Boss in a one-time race where you have the opportunity to also purchase a special nitrous as an option to increase your chances of winning.
To progress further in the Boss ladder or mini madness ladder you’ll need to win or buy the other cars. You definitely don’t get a better car just for completing the first Boss races - just the decal! Whereas you have a chance to get the 2018 Mini John Cooper Works car in a silver crate, you’ll need to purchase the 1963 Mini Cooper S (Custom) from the Shop cars, or on special offer, if you wish to finish the ladders.
Don’t worry about all the faff - a year down the line you’ll be wondering what all the fuss was about!😅

In all of the last boss races D, C, B ect, when you beat them you got a car that allowed you to progress to the next level. I beat all of those bosses, so thought I’d dip my toe into the mini races. Very unsatisfactory as I beat the boss there and now my 1963 Mini Cooper is just sitting there idle.

You have to improve the way you race (following new race line, change the moment when you boost, ...or fuse your car). People should be able to beat all the bosses without any fusion though. Only the in-game ladder requires fusing, but there's no rush for that. You can always get back later. Only beating bosses matters so you can progress in the game

The new algorithm hasn't effected me in the Daily h2h. I run my max Custom Camaro. The 1st 5 races I don't use nitro and the rest I go all out. It really depends on who is in the h2h on whether you get 30 point races or not. Even when I'm in top 3 I'll get matches down to people in 10th or 11th and get higher point races.

I have to admit s4 are way too hard to get in this game. You can get s6, s5, s3, and s2 guaranteed from a booster or resource crate. There is nowhere in the game to get guaranteed s4 unlike every other resource level.

You just have a small chance to get s4 from 100 resource keys. But after spending 2500 resource keys today and only getting a few s4, I can say that’s pretty terrible.

Each crate car has a maximum number of keys you will need to guarantee to get it. So to get an S tier crate car you might need a max of 10 crate openings which is 1000 gold keys. Tier S cars are max 1000 keys, tier GT are max 1200 gold keys, tier A are 800 max. It’s just luck, you might get the car you are trying for in the 1st crate, or 2nd crate, or it might take the maximum.

We suggest waiting until you have at least the max number of keys, otherwise you might just waste them. This is a very long term, pay to play game. You won’t be able to get a new season crate car for a long time unless you want to spend money.

That’s the problem with the game now, you really can’t progress much without paying. If you can afford and want to spend money then the Pro Pass is the best deal in the game, you get a free car, 200 gold keys, and if you play everyday it qualifies you to be on a top 20 club which gives you another free car.

So basically it’s play casually for years to get a few cars, or pay $10 every month to actually progress.

You have to be little patient with this game - it can take some time else you can just buy it for gold. For S4 parts try doing tier A easy money races.

This game is a million times easier, especially as free to play, if you use all your fuel everyday. If you can get to the game once per hour during the day you can do about 100 easy money. Do that every day and you will get a lot of resources and cash. You can’t really end up with too much cash because you can use it for cash car fusion.

The more fuel you use the easier the game is. But if you just want to play casually and for free, don’t worry about it.

My spreadsheet is in tips and tricks, you buy a bunch of D tier Silvia for cash, then do the number of upgrades shown. In the end you are using 100% cash and nothing else to get enough fodder to fuse. But you also need enough fusion credits for the car you want to fuse. Usually we get enough fusion credits from doing a ladder when the car first comes out.

In the D Free Daily Cup

You are given 3 players to chose who to race against, you have raced the track multiple times in the very car you’ve used, but it doesn’t show you your best track time so you can compare that to the 3 options.
Also, it doesn’t display the cars PP when making the selection, so you may well end up choosing to race a car you have ZERO chance of beating, but then low and behold, once you’ve raced the car it’s very proud to display the winning car cars PP so you can see full well you never stood a chance.

Why would you do that ?

H2h do not show your time in the first 5 races because you haven’t done them yet. As others have said, just remember or write down your times for the daily D. They are the same tracks every day. The colors at the bottom also give you a hint of you really don’t know your time, don’t race an opponent in red.

As I posted, you need to show the time listed in the three opponents screen, that’s what matters. There are plenty of bugs in the game, Hutch bots might be part of that. But if the time shown in the three opponents screen matches the time in the screenshot at the end of the race, then there’s no big problem here I don’t think.

You are currently the only player mentioning this issue, so unfortunately, you will have to prove a problem exists before Hutch will look into it. But I would send those two different Hutch bot screenshots to Nico in game support so he can see them.

Turns out you can’t race her with that car even though it’s alongside the cars you can race her with.
Anyway, that opened up tracks and laps for me, turns out it’s not worth it.
I got my gold back by contacting support.
For how much that car costs an the couple of extra tracks you get to repetitively go around it’s a very poor experience.
If you get it, you might well regret it, like I did

The main thing that's changing is that from early 2023 we won't be having any off weeks for club seasons, they'll just go straight from one into the next. Club seasons with club points from early 2023 will always be 4 weeks in length.

Sorry, I’m not sure that can even be theoretically possible. I get having all 4 week seasons, but they need time to design, create, code, and do some sort of testing before submitting the build to the app stores for approval.

I suppose they can try to do that during the season, but a single mistake anywhere in the process makes the entire year’s schedule off since there is zero leeway.

I guess it’s ok though if you want most to give up. Might as well have a new crate car literally every week. You have to use keys to get it, cash to upgrade and fuse it, plus lots of resources. However with no collectors events or time off there is not a single day to recoup or save.

So is this correct?

1. Every season is 4 weeks (besides the upcoming one which is only 3).
2. No seasons will have any collectors events of any kind.
3. There will no longer be any break of any kind between seasons. The new season will literally start the day after the the prior season ends.

You have to be selective. It’s only worth spending gold to get gold keys, not silver keys. The 2nd h2h for all new cars has gold keys everywhere, so as long as you get 69th or better you are doing well by entering.

But the h2h with no gold keys for 20th are tough to enter.

The point of the game is lots of easy money everyday to get cash and resources, earn gold from multiple ways playing, then turn that gold into gold keys via events. But you really need to be on a top 20 club to make it work.
