i think part of being a good player is being able to make those decisions. and they arent always going to be right but you gotta assess how the meta progresses by that point and make the judgement call. i will say i do think its good to be able to shift outside ones comfort picks and learn other styles in general. but on the other hand there is also something to be said about sticking with comfort and having that confidence and understanding of ur team that nobody else does and u can outplay any bad mu.
basically its trynna find wat works for u in that moment. because both have been proven successful before (making the meta call and also outplaying with comfort)

reg g taught me a lot about learning teams outside of your comfort zone, though once i settled on a restricted i didn’t change it until the very end when i was able to stop caring abt the format, i think psyspam will inevitably be the louisville call since its what im most confident in being able to refine in response to meta changes, i think if i lock in and make mu docs & lines into mus i don’t like i will be fine

Some mons I have seen are kommo-o, gholdengo, garchomp ect. Just some ideas cause idk about mausape there if there’s no current plans for a sand team
