I think raccoons are less about washing it and more about getting a better sense of what they’re holding, really. We just misinterpret it as washing.

See, what I read was that it wasn’t about washing the food at all, or getting debris off of it. Animals will eat just about anything and not care about debris. But the way a raccoon’s paws are, they’ll pick up more sensory information about the food when it’s wet. Raccoons figure out their food primarily through touch and not sight, and the water improves that sense for them.

There are wolf-dog hybrids... depending on how much wolf is in them kind of... gives you a gauge on how volatile their behavior can be. But there are wolf sanctuaries where you can go in and be with the pack and stuff. It's a dream of mine.

Pooring rice on a paper and doing a rough outline can work but wont often result in a rough coastline

Personally i just try to stay conscious of not making lines too curved or straight, if a curve goes on too long I'll make a jagged shape however my brain feels like it

They'll always look super weird until they coke together more and you get used to it, at least in my experience, i domt really have any other tips i can share though, you could try aking on a subreddit dedicated to map making as well if there is one (no idea if there is)

Iconography (and iconology, those are two different things) changes with population and cultural change. One easy example is the fedora. Older peeps would say it's a respectable fashion choice. i am trying to give constructive advice for someone to start a fundraiser/kickstarter, and if i think about a successful one, i think of Coral Island

what i gathered so far is that milestones in the fundraiser/kickstarter makes people hype more, compared to having no clue how much money has been donated and whether they're close to reaching the goal at all

and that giving extra things to achieve (milestones) makes people interested in trying to achieve those as well

and that a groupchat like discord can make people hype even more :P

I think your data should and needs to extend far beyond just coral island, and look at many others, what makes good and not good crowdfunding, things to avoid, how to work on one, transparency with your backers things like this. It’s not just about hype though it’s about who you are backing, track records, if the product is interesting enough to invest in, what is being sold so it’s more of a marketing thing, so I’d tell them look at marketing strategies and delivering the product in its finalization period and some other key things.

Yeah i see it a lot in the streaming server I run. basically it hacks your account spamming every server you are in - in all of their channels and then those servers ban you. So you lose all of your servers and the hacker gets access to info of course.

i'm really late here but in my mind i see there being 3 months for each season. dec, jan + feb are winter, march, april + may are spring, june, jul + aug are summer and sept, oct + nov are fall, even though it doesn't always quite line up that way weather-wise since I'm in southern ontario and our winter is a bit longer and fall + spring are more like a few weeks than 3 months. but the 3 month = 1 season thing is what makes the most sense to me. sept 8 would be fall 8 in my mind
