Asking with real curiosity: from a tarot practicer, what would be the motivation to use a pendulum? My understanding is that cards can give much more nuanced answers, so despite finding the pendulum really cool I don't see a real reason for me to get it.

A pendulum is a quick way to get yes/no questions answered and if you're talking to a deity or spirit you can use it to help them pick things, like making a circle of crystals and having them via pendulum select an offering

some questions to ask yourself if you plan to use it as one and need to iron out the info:

• are you using letters?
• if so what do they stand for?
• what do the matches mean when they sit a specific way? (would suggest filtering out many ways and sticking to them)
• why?
  with a bunch more options

but i wouldnt suggest making one if your trying to find answers rn

I think it's a really interesting take! in my opinion, it's less about not getting a new job but more about not taking a risky one. the whole reading seems to be focused on you making good financial decisions for yourself based off of long term rather than quick,short term stuff!

how id interpret:

The four of pentacles doesn't really give you a strict answer but it is saying that you shouldn't be making any risky decisions when it comes to your career at the moment. if you're putting all of your eggs in the starbucks basket, it's probably not for the best and you should make sure that you have alternative options if possible

The lovers is a card of choices. meaning that you may get multiple responses in terms of your application and you have to decide which one is going to be best for you, long term.

I tend to follow the order the cards come for interpreting (left to right) and also before interpreting each i like to catch the general vibe, for example there is two cups cards which tend to be emotional and one swords which tends to be adversity so Im entering this interpretation with a hunch of what the vibe will be: an adversity and the emotions you will face

the three of swords tends to represent situations/emotions of a heartbreak, the two of cups is a very positive card that focuses on good relationships, relationships with harmony and trust, and that stuff, and the reversed queen of cups tends to be related to bad emotions, that with the first thing I said about reading in order makes my interpretation that: something will upset you, on the heartbreak tone its probably a turn of events that you didnt expect + you dont like (3 of swords), but because of the two of cups Im inclined to believe it will also open the door to something positive, however you are still going to have to go through the heartbreak (queen of cups reversed)

because you basically asked the full moon for just something else you should know maybe this is kind of a heads up for something thats coming

I normally for example would see where the cats are looking, what colors are around, etc

I totally encourage you to do a deep dive like that, thats the fun in reading for me

I also, because of my beliefs, do think my decks have their own vibes and ways of telling me things and I tend to keep that in mind when interpreting what they have to say!

See how well it aligns and what your interpretation of the cards were. Supposed to help with intuition and learning tarot. I got one day that was pretty close, but the rest not so much.

Lately I have been practicing more with a game on guessing where a character will show on the map.

I'm sure there are other ways to practice intuition, these are just the ones I have used recently.
