Is there a word for taking all of the buttons on a page and making them one large picture? So here's what I'm trying to do;

I have a SDxl so its 4x8. One thing I use it for is gaming & I was hoping to take a portion of a page, maybe like the right 3 collumns of 4 & have one image for them, of a map. Then each button could be for recalling (fast traveling) around on the map. I'm fine with making the image custom on my own. I'd just like to figure out the best way to go about this.

Hello hello. I have a general question.
Have I been using WaveLink wrong this whole time?
In Windows, I have been setting my Default Sound Output as the 'System' channel, that way all of my apps will play through that channel until I filter it to a different channel as needed.
Following the threads relating to WaveLink3.0 has been leaving me confused. Maybe there's a better way that I didn't realize?

Hello, don't know if anyone from Elgato is in here.
But i can't help wondering if it's time to start looking for an alternativ to the Elgato line up. What use is it to have multiple Elgato products, with official plugins to controll the units from the stream deck, when the software is not compatible with other software from the same company.
I can't be the only one that is getting on my last nerves of the "fixes" that breaks more and more of the funktions that was the reason i got the product.

They can't really comment on any future products.

That said the Background Blur is a feature of Camera Hub (assuming you're not talking about bokeh caused by the wider aperture), not the specific camera (and requires an NVidia RTX 2060 or higher since it uses the Nvidia Broadcast Video Effects API). Said API does only work in 1080p mode iirc though so both cameras would drop to 1080p when using blur.
I'd also note that Facecam Pro does uncompressed to 1080p60. Facecam 4K does it to 2160p30 - 2160p60 mode still requires compression due to USB bandwidth.

A small request to Elgato - When you release a new product, please don't give out misinformation about it in the release streams. I asked on Prompter XL stream if the product ships right away, and the presenter from Elgato said "Yes, if you placed the order today, it should ship today or tomorrow".

It's been 11 days now and my order is still sitting at "ready to be shipped" status. This is just plain bad customer experience that lowers trust towards the brand. It's always better to deliver positive surprises by being quicker than promised, not vice versa.

They might just be in a situation where the demand for the new xl prompter exceeded their expectations and available stock supply. I imagine they are currently trying to backfill orders as fast as possible. (This is just my personal speculation as the website currently shows a "Notify me when available" button leading mw to think they are out of stock.)

If you haven't already, try reaching out to customer service and hopefully they can provide additional information for you on your order.

If you need an alternative noise gate and compressor due to issues with Marketplace (currently may be affected by ongoing AWS outage that's bought down a number of services), you can use the Reaper ones from https://www.reaper.fm/reaplugs/ - they used to be on the recommended list of VSTs for Elgato before they had their own, and are entirely free. ReaGate and ReaComp would be the closest match to those two, but there are a number of other ones.

It was discontinued in August 2024, so you might have to resort to a used one from eBay or the like. You can try searching for stock via the part number 10AAD9901 as well to see if that turns up anything.

Where's the right place to ask about wave link 3.0 beta? I tried logging in via Discord button, and it sent an authentication email, and then it opens a web page saying to return to the browser which I started logging in from and continuing. So I return to the wave link 3 built in browser and there's no continue button 😅

I was able to use a different method to log into my account, although I had to log in twice for the log in to take effect in the application. I think this is a known issue though 🙂

Trello's not exactly the best tool for that specific job. There's a type of software called issue trackers that are purpose made for it, though

I don't doubt that Elgato uses such a tracker internally for managing stuff, but making that public would require possibly a bunch of additional work to moderate and manage

I’m not sure why I’m having so much stream issues with. It’s either my bit rate or Wi-Fi. It’s hard to figure out, but I think it’s the bit rate since it keeps saying unstable and keeps going to red when I stream then making my streams all static and my audio sound like crap each time and lagging out on my OBS any idea of why it keeps happening?

I just recently changed the bit rate again since I thought I had it perfect before.

Could be a number of things, depending on how you encode etc. So check your settings and taskmanager for cpu and gpu usage while streaming/recording, aswell as your internet to wherever the broadcast server is 😛 Welcome to troubleshooting ^^

Oh, so is that the issue because I’ve been trying to get my ethernet cable to work on my PC I just don’t have an ethernet port or access to the Wi-Fi router since a different living situation.

If you have no other option, then you’ll just have to deal with the WiFi conditions.
But you can run the analyze logs command from an OBS session. It’s in the help menu, choose upload log and it will open a browser and read the log warnings for you.
You can also show the stats doc and it will show where frames dropped; compositor, encoder, network.

The OBS Studio Discord would be of better assistance. Their Discord hooks into their analyzer and the regular volunteers can anazlye crash log and offer advice.

You need to upload to the analyzer. I can’t decide the log.
But if you’re seeing red in OBS while streaming, show the stats dock and you’ll get more info even before the log

Are you using Chat Link? If you had the pro version make sure the Ground Loop Isolator is turned on, on the Chat Link. If you have the original one, get a 3.5mm ground loop isolator. It'll fix the buzz when the controller is charging

Your computer and console get power from the same place, so if you run an audio cable with a ground wire between them, it creates a circuit that results in electrical noise on the audio capture
