Yeah. I plan on testing the current CPU with both cards, and then the new CPU with both cards to see what the changes are in all combinations =) I want better ray tracing performance in GTAV and Cyberpunk 2077, so it will be interesting for those two at leats :)

This happens on a dual PC setup while cloning the main display to the capture card. (4K pro) 1080p240Hz
When tabbing in and out the stream mix output becomes unavailable. It also happens when just starting games.

For iOS, I have a program on my PC that behaves like AirPlay, but it is gonna cost. Now that’s a cableless solution, but if you’re wanting to make sure you get raw data and you want to be connected to cables, then a capture card would be ideal.

TBH Rufus that is a good question, I was actually using a laptop from 2018 last year when I was getting ready to start streaming and it really was showing it's age, it could only do 15fps when I was recording

You should put questions like this in #capture-cards in the tech help category, so the right people can see it.
But from what little I know, are you looking at the preview? Or the passthrough?
If your card is capable of passthrough of hdr then it should work on your passthrough display. The capturing app needs to do tone mapping for the capture.

I switched to the Logitech G502X LightSpeed, it has 3 thumbbuttons, 2 macrobuttons to the left of the Index finger, aswell as the usual buttons and scrollwheel with both M3 and infinityscroll wheel.
I use the buttons next to the Leftclick for quickly changing my DPI (Sens) depending if I want speed or precision 🙂

I used to use mice in the G500/G502 series for years before receiving the Viper as a gift a while back. I definitely love the shape, but man the weight of the Viper has me spoiled. Does the Lightspeed bring its weight down at all?

Yeah I don’t know of something that will work as a mic arm, but also fold under the desk when not in use.
What about mounting an arm to the wall, so it can swing far enough out of the way? Also side benefit is it’s not physically attached to the desk so less mechanical vibrations from desk thumping.

There's unlikely to be a public date for when a product gets to other vendors and it may change depending on region, but usually it happens within a few months for NA. Truly trying to decide if i should order a stream deck, wave:3, lp mic arm, shock mount, and pop filter. I have a white wave:3 mic only couple months old. Thing is a power surge took out my entire pc setup. Both my usb extension cable and mic were smoking in the aftermath. Do i could chance my white wave:3 is okay, or i could get the new dreamscape pink petal. I had someone plug in mic and it is detectable, but they didn’t know how to tell if condenser was mesed up. What do u think fellow elgato users. Is it worth risking with existing mic or get the dreamscape color?

whoa, first of all you should contact your insurancecompany and then Elgato customerservice to get your Wave:3 replaced since it should go under warranty. The rest of the items your should totally order 😉

and perhaps invest in an UPS, Uninterrupted Power Supply that also protects against powersurges etc

and keeps your computer on so you can safely shut down incase of a longer power outage 🙂

Oh my insurance company reamed me. They gave me a total of $3000 to replace almost 12,000 in damage. I am not particularly thrilled about having to buy parts of the computer at a time and not being able to test and that’s for sure. I am building it in the way. I never thought I would have to, but with my income as limited as it is, I’m just hoping to have the computer up and running by December. I hadn’t thought about contacting Elgato about the microphone, that’s not a bad idea. And we plan to move to a place with better power protections in like April. And believe me, I wish I could find a UPS that I could afford that would give me like 15 minutes to shut down the stream safely if the power acts up. But my computer uses 1000 power supply and what I use for a monitor is a 75 inch television. So I need a pretty beefy UPS.

Your computer doesn't use 1000 watt even if you have a 1000 watt powersupply, it uses exactly how much it needs UP to a max of 1000 watts, realistic poweruse is about 45-100 watt on the cpu and up to 600 watt on a 5090 unless you're overclocking 🙂

a more normal gpu uses about 200 watts

Yes, that’s the thing though is it’s not just the main computer that it’s got power. It’s gotta be able to keep the display on long enough and power all the USB stuff like the microphone and everything so I can shut down the stream recording and everything. Yeah, splitting causes frameskips and tearing, but directing specific tasks to a different GPU would be incredible, such as how you could use another card purely for PhysX

Borderlands 2 with two GTX760 SLI was incredible ^^

I had a 950w corsair psu for —no kidding— over 14 years.

Just a couple months ago replaced it and only because it actually did have coil wine but only after my latest GPU upgrade did it get really loud.

#capture-cards is ideal. Make sure you’re connected to a USB 3.0 port, also make sure on your streaming PC that you disable USB suspend. And I would recommend Port hopping in a 3.0 ports until you find one that has no issues. Make sure that your bios and your drivers are updated for your motherboard, and also make sure that the cables are secure

i don't have the Neo capture but it should work just like the other external capture cards meaning they are all compatible with a tower PC if by that you mean a desktop (so not a laptop)

when I got my HD60X there was only the 4k Capture Utility but there's also Elgato Studio on the downloads page
so would say you need to have one of these installed but scan the QR code on your capture card's box and it should give you the user manual and tell you if you need to install any software etc

if you go there and in the 'select your product' rolldown menu you can select your Game Capture Neo and it will show you the software that's compatible with it
though again check the user manual and check if you missed a step

Different user, the one here didn't move over to lighting so I didn't see it til they were gone. I would have asked them to make sure their router wasn't set to WPA3 only, since the lights don't support it.
