Low latency mode just turns off image enchancements for the most part - HD60 X doesn't do any of those so if you mean the card itself, it doesn't need a low latency mode. If you mean on passthough to the HDMI out, it can depend on the setup and you may have to set your display to a manual low latency mode instead (eg game mode). Eg it seems the PS5 ALLM doesn't like passing through any capture card before hitting the display, but if you turn on game mode on the TV/monitor it should accomplish the same thing.

Did you review the system requirements for the products before purchase? They'll clearly state you can use Windows or macOS for the products (or appropriate mobile platforms for things like Control Center for the lights). Most products, especially software, only work on specific platforms (since it costs time and money to develop and maintain apps on each platform) - would you expect to purchase MS Office and run it on Linux for example?

That said if you're interested in seeing the software ported to other setups in the future, consider sending a request through #feature-request

Also check the community projects online - most of the hardware is Linux compatible and there are some open source projects that will work with it, even though the official apps would not.

I doubt they're actively preventing it - but the apps have hardware requirements that don't emulate well. Currently there's no Windows ARM support either for similar reasons.

I mean, they just haven't written a version of the apps to run on the other paltforms. We're starting to see software with ARM now that Elgato Studio is in beta - could see linux in the future if enough people request it, who knows.
But yeah, these are not basic apps to emulate - the apps have hardware interfaces APIs like the Wave Audio Subsystem that can bypass things like Windows Audio for lower latency on monitor mix - these things don't emulate well, even with Windows own Prism emulation for ARM, let alone an something like WINE. It's not intentional - but they're also not going out of their way for Linux support.
The options are there though - submit a feature request if it's something you want to see - if they get enough inquires on something odds are they'll look at adding it. In the meantime you can try third party apps from the Linux community, or if you don't want windows move to a mac.

Out of which Ubuntu that is the most popular is still only like 0.8% of all PC's outside of workstations, the userbase of Elgato products of those or interested is abysmally low.
Personally I hope for atleast official Stream Deck software for Arch which is what SteamOS is based on, and will likely take up a few percent of the userbase once it reaches its full release.

For recording I would suggest OBS Studio.

So I have three streamdecks, MK2, Plus and XL but honestly finding my XL to be just over extending my needs. Was wondering if I should swap that out with another plus or MK2. Was thinking that another Plus would be solely for my audio mixing.

I use my smaller Stream Deck to basically just act as a Profile Switcher for my XL, and my Plus is dedicated to Audio unless I’m also live or using my camera and lighting, has profiles on the Plus for that too

I've been using the virtual channels for 4 months on my Rodecaster pro 2 with KRK Rokit 5 as my output but i recently have to unused my Rokit 5 for some reason and use a JBL quantum speaker (BT) and after transitioning in using the JBL blutooth as for my output the virtual channels doesn't work on my PC anymore 😦 I hope someone can help me! thank youuuu

Googling Arca Swiss Clamp seems to turn up a few that you can install, just look for one with 1/4"-20 thread (sometimes just called 1/4") since that's what Master Mount is using (fairly standard for photo and video)

I had iffy experience went attaching my Lumix G7 on to this arm. I was also using the flex arm attachments with it. Until I finally switched to a lp arm (I have for my wave from elgato but for my camera and prompter I have a non elgato brand) to handle the weight. It would give me too much anxiety on the solid arm+flex arm that I thought it was going to just fall each time I was recording.

Found out Wave Link has an aneurism when you swap users without logging out and log into a different user that isn't using all the Wave Link channels xD

My stream deck is connecting to an incorrect streamlabs account and when I try to remove the account then re add it, it just reconnects to the same one without giving me a promt to enter new credentials

This depends a lot on the setup you're working with. For example on most desktops, unless you have a GPU with a USB-C port on it, the standard DP-Alt Mode / passive adapters won't work. The DisplayLink kind that do work in that setup aren't usually the best for gaming on. If you're working with a laptop or other device that has a DP Alt mode on the port you're trying to use they're all pretty standard, just get the one that matches the port you're using.

Why are you looking for one though? Last I checked you were trying to hook up the capture card, not something with DisplayPort?

Back then, the plugin SDK that we have now didn't exist so part of that effort was me fighting with stuff to actually work
