its related to the Discord plugin for the streamdeck. theres a new button added to the plugin to "stream toggle" but all it does is pull up the menu to select screen and choose quality etc. I would love it if it was possible to start sharing my screen straight away on button press

the screen sharing only works if a game is detected by discord. I personally prefer sharing my screen entirely, rather than a specific game window so I can drag other windows overtop to show friends that aswell.

but I understand that this is a limitation set by discord and not you guys over at elgato. Would love if discord allowed instant sharing of a set monitor at some point in the future

OBS Studio should be a pre-installed plugin from the Marketplace, however sometimes the installer borks out, re-installing the Stream Deck Application should solve it.

For other version of OBS such as Streamlabs etc, there's dedicated plugins for those.

This is normal behavior for most soundboards, even dedicated physical ones - you can play different sounds in an overlap and if you want one of them to stop so they don't overlap, tap that one again to stop it. I wouldn't generally expect an update to change that. If you wanted a full stop from the board, use a multi action with the stop audio action first, then the soundboard sound you want to play.

Wave audio issues go over in #wave-audio . That said is it closing out from the system tray too? Wave Link and other Elgato apps tend to run in the system tray down near the clock primarily, they don't need to stay on the task bar. If it's closing from the system tray too though, it's likely crashing out and you'd want to either check with the coommunity help channel volunteers, contact #official-tech-support or maybe try the Wave Link 2.0 beta.

The rules are posted in the server guide section of the server, and in the spot you agree to when you join, if you need to check.

In any case Stream Deck is controlled by the app which is only available for Windows and macOS. There are some third party projects to get it working with linux but nothing official, or able to run the plugins from the marketplace. So unless you've go Windows running on that Pi, you'll have to look into third party projects for it.

4K Pro is the new model, it came out back in February. The 4K60 Pro Mk2 is the older version - it was a HDMI 2.0 card so 4K signal on it was limited to 60 Hz. The new one is HDMI 2.1 so they dropped 60 from the name.

You're looking at the original 4K60 Pro, that was replaced with the 4K60 Pro Mk2 which added HDR recording, multi-app recording, VRR and was cheaper. 4K Pro is baiscally the same as the 4K60 Pro Mk2 but adds HDMI 2.1 support.

So can run at highre refresh rates and resolution

If you were on a really old version of Wave Link (before 1.9) note that "Stream" in the output selection was redundant as Stream Output is always on. "No additional output" is the same thing, since Streaem is always on - you're just choosing an additional output since 1.9 added the ability to split the audio going out of the app to another output (useful for some cases like Dual PC setups)

The flow is supposed to be that Icon Packs through Marketplace are downloaded directly into the Stream Deck app not into a folder. Is it going into your downloads folder on your PC? Double check that you're on the latest Stream Deck version. Like 6.8 or later.

With the 6.8.1 installer you're getting the same error? Might have to reach out to #official-tech-support if that's the case so they can take a look.
That error can indicate an issue with the Windows Installer service too that you might have to look into. I'd check if you have issues installing any other MSIs

No, capturecard is mainly used to capture consoles and then streaming from the PC

you can just install OBS Studio, set it all up to stream and/or record and be good like that, aslong as your laptop is up to spec to handle being able to play and stream or record at the same time.

The multi action seems to be able to achieve this function indirectly. However, it appears that the multi action can't be called recursively. It can be seen that a certain multi action can't be embedded within another multi action.

Make sure you're on the latest version as lifetime was only added in veresion 2. It should be under the DLC for whichever version you have (android or iOS), if you're on the latest version.

Howdy. Was hoping somebody could help me finish off my setup

I’m basically all set up, I just don’t know the best way to go about audio. I’m going to be playing Xbox, and want to capture my voice + gameplay audio (including game chat). Ultimately, I’m wondering if there’s a way to be able to tie the audio I input into my Xbox mic (aka my voice) with the game chat (so that stream of audio would not hear my voice if my headset was turned off, but would hear game chat). Or am I stuck needing to use a second mic to constantly record the audio I put into game chat and would have to turn that off separately if I didn’t want my audio/voice recorded?

Is that what a mixer is for?

Or if anybody has any suggestions / recommendations - I’m all ears. Thanks!

hi guys new here im having trouble with my face cam mk2 downloaded all the software ect set it all up opened up my stream elements obs added it in fine worked done one stream went to do a second and its just freezing turning my controller off back to keyboard fans in my pc the RGB flasses and fans start to slow and stop then kick back in ect any help ?????????????

What ruined game for me was essentially when A: They made it so rep grind was essential for every zone no matter what for like 5 reps to make any kind of "content progression" and to earn flight again.

And B: Raid finder making it so casuals could get good gear
