GTA has really weird audiorouting in general, some other games also don't adhere to routing, I "solve" that by making all my audio on my PC (Default Channel) be the Game Channel unless routes elsewhere like Voice Chat, Browser or Music

So even if I start a new game, it automatically happens on the Game Channel without specifying

I have recently bought a Elgato 4K capture pro card and I am using it with a dual PC setup.

I have the video recording portion of the card working, however I can't seem to get any audio from my main through to the recording.

Does anyone know how I can get ALL system audio from my PC recording with the video? Or is something like that just not possible and I will have record audio separately?

My HD60 Pro all of a sudden won't stream 60 fps anymore even though I've always had it set to do so. It looks like it went down to 30 fps. It also plays an intro every time I open the software before it streams the gameplay and it didn't do that while it streamed 60 fps. Googling the problem hasn't given me any helpful solutions.

cause whats cool about what I've seen in some production studios is they have this replay controller where they have a lever (for transition speed) and a dial that controls the speed of a replay (forwards/backwards... slow motion... fast motion... frame by frame... etc.)

Hey everyone! Happy Halloween. I've got a problem. I own an HD60. Here's the deal: OBS is set up completely and works fine. When I start up my PS5, I still get a signal, but as soon as I launch CoD/Valorant, etc., I get a black screen and I have to restart my PC to get a picture back in OBS. If I then start CoD again, I get a black screen again. What could be causing this? Everything ran smoothly before, but this problem started with XDefaint...

So I want to press/tap [button] and have it Long press Y for 3 seconds, in the game.

yeah.. i guess. I mean there is a Clock Icon next to the trash can, where you can adjust the time a button is pressed, as well as the delay after the press, but those only go from 01ms to 100ms. Seems a waste to not let that go further.

yeah, but the delay is a delay between actions. Lets say I am playing COD and I want to throw a grenade, I need to press G and hold for 3 seconds, before throwing. So I want to just tap the grenade icon on my streamdeck, and not have to have my finger on G on my keyboard, when I could be using it to move around.

Sure your setup gets a bit cleaner with less boxes on your deskpad with the XLR Dock for the Streamdeck+, but not to the extent I would pass up a like 160USD savings ^^

Hm... I was going through a gameplay video I was going to post and it was all good until 12 minutes in when there was suddenly an underlying crackling sound. Just enough to be heard and annoying. It's not in there in the raw footage.

I figured out the issue... Somehow the raw footage has 4 minutes of awful audio. Crackling, warped stuff. I somehow skipped over it when I was initially reviewing it (probably because it was like 3am). I'll just have to repay that section and splice it in 😭🤣

Wavelink prevents PC from sleeping, so I'm currently using this solution. Thanks for the suggestion btw. Does anyone know if this issue is being looked at? My PC idles at 120W at the wall, so I prefer it to sleep after renders or compiles are done at night.

I was wanting to use the elgato mounts for putting my base stations on for VR chat since I need them at weird angles. My plan was to have the bottom pieces beat the mastermount l and the top pieces be the flexible ones. But I wanted them to be able to stand on their own so that's why I was going to put them on the heavy plates since they are basically sitting on the floor.

Filian and other full VR Vtubers use 4 trackers on wallmounts in the corner of their rooms, I can only advise on what I know works, whatever you decide to do is up to you and your setup, find a heavy base used and try it out and if its to your liking get more ^^

Fillian and the rest of those are able to just stick them in corners of rooms and work with that because they're not doing what I'm doing. I'm trying to set up virtual reality drumming and I have to put the base stations in pretty unusual angles to be able to capture most of my upper body. The trackers that I'm working on with now are going to be behind me unless it's better for them to be in front. I plan on getting four trackers, and so that way I'll have four different places, but I only had to budget to get two for now.

I have the first version of Oculus Rift for my PC and I place the trackers as wide as I can on my desks because that way they don't miss anything, having everything from the same side makes anything behind you lose tracking, say like reloading in Half-Life: Alyx because you have to reach behind your shoulder

Cymbals will cover a bunch of both you and the sticktracking, also they're reflective unless you use purely vdrums which will cause issues

I only have one keylight so far, facing me, and a cheap floodlight facing the wall for diffusion, can't wait to get a 2nd keylight to have them at basically 45degrees

Yeah - I might also look if there's some sort of universal softbox that can go over the Key Light later. It's been a pain to sort out because of how bloody thick my glasses lenses are causing the shadows

i've had the wave:3 for a while now and using it with wave link, but I often run into the problem that sound is not coming out my headset. I usually have windows default output to speakers, which is what I use the most, but then sound is not coming out my headset, which is set as my monitor mix output. So i'm constantly changing windows default from speaker to headset which is annoying. I have the feeling that, that is not how it is suppose to work... can anyone clarify how i'm suppose to do the setup?

Ah, yeah. There's been a lot of fake mics in the last few years. I tend to only get mine from actual audio stores or the vendor now. If the capture card is showing up in the app fine I wouldn't worry about it. If you wanted to be sure the #official-tech-support has links for opening a ticket - they can probable check the serial to confirm.

Technically yes but not really.

I'm mixing midi and the trackers together to stream in vrchat. And right now I only have a hip and feet trackers because I was rushing around to get everything set up. Really I would prefer the trackers to be on my knees, but you have to have them on your feet to complete the full body.

My drum set will react to MIDI of my real kit, my real kit at the virtual kit has been aligned, and so when I can see the virtual snare drum in front of me, it's in the perfect spot to be where my real snare drum is

I have two tripods, one might be the perfect height to do what I needed to do but the other one is neck high and I don't think it'll work because they're supposed to be taller than me while standing so I was going to use the master mount to make them taller

what could be the reason that the elgato stream deck software no longer recognizes programs that are set for volume control? i have set firefox, for example, but it is not (or no longer) recognized by the elgato software. the icon is grey on the display of the stream deck+. i have this error very often, not only with firefox, that was just one example.

restarting the stream deck software didn't help either.

it can be really annoying. you spend days customizing the stream deck to your needs, and after a few days it feels like half of it no longer works.

hey guys!

I have 2 key light minis, I got one around a year or 2 ago and it will stay on and not lose battery power and it will always stay connected to the control hub app and my stream deck but the one i got last week will disconnect when not light up and i will have to press the button to reactivate it to the wifi and control panel app, does anyone know how i can keep it connected to both the app and wifi and stay powered with out having to be light up?

Most standard USB-C cables will also work if you know what device and spec you're looking for a cable for, so if spare parts isn't available in your region you can still find a repalcement.

Huh, so it isn't. Not sure if that's a stock issur or it's just not listed yet.
Any standard 10 Gbps USB 3.2 Gen 2 cable should work. As will Thunderbolt 3/4/5 cables. Or even 3.1 Gen 2, since that was renamed to 3.2 Gen 2.

Hi. I recently bought 2 Elgato items from two different stores in EU (atomic purple stream deck and low profile arm pro). I bought them separately, however both did have boxes opened before (stickers not valid). Nothing was missing, everything seems to be looking new. So who would like to help me design a setup for teaching a class. Here is what i do, I teach a course to 12 year old and up on how to operate on the ramp at an airport. My current setup is a nightmare and gives me nothing but trouble while teaching. Im planning on getting the OBSBot Tiny 2 camera and stream deck. I do need to watch overall cost.

The parts of my current setup i have now that i am still using is 150" portable screen, 4K Laser Projector, 2 USB C Wireless mics, 2 3.5mm Wireless Mics, External PC speakers. I also use a Samsung TV. For me to teach/broadcast my class I use my laptop to control everything. From my Laptop out my power point slides go out to my projector and samsung tv through my USB C to HDMI splitter. FYI I teach in-person and online at the same time. The screen only shows the slides while the tv only show my students from Teams, also while my students on the tv they also see the Power Point.

Please @ me for a reply and/or go on a voice channel. I can clearify this better over voice. I am teaching class on 1/12/2025 so i do have a dead line.

Yes, that is correct. I wear one mic all the time. Another wearable Mike gets passed around between other instructors and then the two handheld microphones like the karaoke microphones. Get past around the classroom for everyone online to hear.

Ok that’s good to know that’s gonna be the new addition to my set up and a stream deck as well as I’m trying to simplify everything because realistically I am having three screens in total my computer being the main and then split off to the projector and the TV and the other issue I’ve been having is for my slides to show up correctly in the right areas with a little sound issues that I’ve been having.

Overall of my whole set up is do you have it controlled easier so that’s why I was thinking about the stream deck M2K which I think is fine. I’ll rephrase that a bit oval Control ability with PowerPoint and teams to work better and have better controls. Better audio control.

Once again, I apologize if I’m not making it as clear as possible, but I’ve always had some issue every single time the last time I had a sound card issue I am looking into replacing my current computer and have a dedicated computer for it teaching that’s gonna be in the near future

Really I think three screens is the best way to do it: slides on the projector, online class on the TV, and then you can largely ignore the laptop during the class.

I would suggest the stream deck+, that will unlock the wave link software which will give you more control over your audio. The device also has dials in addition to the buttons so you can quickly adjust volume for people who happen to be louder/quieter (the dials have many other uses too). It also gives you a quick way to mute microphones that are not in use. There are PowerPoint and MS Teams plugins for the stream deck, so you would be able to control all of that.

For microphones I don't really have suggestions. Personally I would go with all USB C microphones and then a USB C hub (powered would be best). That way the sound card doesn't matter and you have uniformity in your technology.

Not sure about the slides showing up in the right areas, from what I remember of PowerPoint you should be able to start the presentation and then share that window to Teams as your screen. There are some software ways to do do it but they add a lot of (in my opinion) unnecessary complexity.

ok well that is helpful. I do know the wave link do read all microphones when elgato mic is connected, This shouldn't matter if i use the Stream deck + then. I would like to extend my offer to you for a mock up test if you have any time on 12/15/2024? Please let me know what time works best for you. I think your on to something with the info you told me and i believe if i show you a full mock up my purshase list will get fine tuned.

Like i mentioned the Stream deck and OBSBot Tiny 2 will be the add on and help redefine my setup for class
