Which mic did you get? If you still have the box double check it, as it should have come with the wave:1 and wave:3. There's an adapter for the wave dx as well, it's a different style that screws in to the larger socket intead

Okay, yes. That's the adapter for the DX, different than the others - the screw that goes in there. That said the Wave DX doesn't have a u-frame? That's something on the Wave:3 and Wave:1. You were talking about the Wave:3 the other night - do you have both?

Ah, so you've got both mics, okay, that explains that.

It SHOULD have come in side the box with the Wave:3 - if it's missing and a recent purchase you can try reaching out to #official-tech-support or order a replacement. The official one is currently out of stock (at least in the US store) so you can also look for 5/8" to 1/4" adapters from amazon or a local music store.

(unless you have a EU or older style boom arm, then you may want 3/8" to 1/4")

That looks like it should work, yes.

If you run into more issues with the mic pop them into #wave-audio though - that covers the wave hardware as well as the software for community support.

Sounds good - once you get them, and the new uframe you should be set. Most of the Elgato stuff is 1/4", so that 5/8" adapter should get it working on just about any non-Elgato boom arm. For an Elgato one just mount the uframe to it directly. Likewise for the DX, to just remove the insert to use the non-Elgato arms. Good luck with it!

I use three dialstacks for all my Wave Link channels

clicking the dial to change channel, adjust with dial, touch the touchscreen to mute/unmute that channel ^^

and on my Streamingprofile I use 2 dialstacks for my monitoring and one dialstack for all audio heard on stream that I can adjust on the fly if a game is like superloud or something

100% agree. I refused to switch for just the WaveXLR and Wave Link but when Elgato released the Stream Deck + that is when I got rid of the GoXLR as well. Wave XLR plus SD+ is better then a GoXLR.

The single thing I occasionally miss is the built in voice changer.

Guys, I got myself a 4K Pro capture card and I ran into an issue where my GPU is blocking the PCI_E2 slot.

Is there any potential workarounds? I saw that I can potentially use a PCIe riser cable for my gpu and mount it vertically, but I’m not sure if my pc case has the space for that.

I don't know where to post this but for some reason the color picker plugin from the marketplace is broken; the type field is only choosing fixed so everytime I click my mouse it displays a new hex value; it used to show dynamic, fixed, or on key press and now it's not

@primal arrow if you're looking for a high quality arm, the WAVE MIC ARMs are phenomenal and worth the cost. I've used cheap $20 mic arms from Amazon and recently retired my $100 Rhode mic arm for the Elgato LP mic arm. For my XLR setup, the Elgato Low Profile is the best for me because of it's ability to keep my mic sturdy, hide my XLR cables inside the arm and stay in the perfect position when I do and don't need it.

That said, I tend to use much heavier microphones than the Wave 1 ( Which weighs about 1/2 lb compared to heavier mics that can weight 1-2 lbs). Considering the light weight nature of your Wave 1 Mic, you can go with any mic arm you see.

If you use something without cable management built in, consider getting some 1/2" velcro strips that you can use to keep your cables safely connected to the mic arm to keep them from being damaged. Just make sure you give it enough slack for when you move the arm around.

Until literally this month, I was using the OG Elgato Game Capture software. When I built my new system and tried to redownload it, the Elgato site pointed me to the 4K capture software instead. Am I crazy or does this software not have hot keys like the old one did? I have gone through the settings menus but I can't find them anywhere. I need to set up screenshot and recording hot keys.

Hey, i set up wavelink yesterday, but i reset my computer and it seems to have broken something. I have reinstalled and all my wavelink channels are working, however, even if i have my output device on Wavelink to Default. when i switch my output devices with my streamdeck it never works. In wave link it doesnt change to my headphones, vice versa, even though i am on the "default" output. I can manually change the output device but then im not getting full use of all my hardware. Hopefully someone can heko mwe out with this. Thanks ❤️

Heyy guys do you have any ideas how to fix that very annoying with the facecam? When it keeps disconnecting on its own even after changing the usb mode and updating the firmware of the facecam? I also tried moving it through all the usb 3.1 and 3.2 ports but still no fix, it works fine for a hour or so then it just randomly disconnects or whenever im streaming or just opening a slightly less optimized game like tarkov the facecam just disconnects or turns off

I was thinking the issue is related to my cpu or gpu being overloaded but that rarely ever happens since im running a 4070ti paired with a ryzen 7 5800x3d
