I've had the HD60 S+ for a while, but after watching Epos Vox's review of the 4K X, I knew an upgrade was inbound for my streaming setup.

It's insane that a USB capture card is not only faster, but better, than my current PCIe solution. Look at that latency chart!

Hello, would this card (new 4k pro) make it possible to no longer have image tearing in dual PC with the game PC at 144hz and stream at 60hz? This is what I get on all my games now every time I move the camera with the 4k mk2. Thanks

I play on a pc with a 144hz screen I have no screen tearing but on the stream pc with the 4k 60 mk2 capture card either on obs or on the elgato application I do (I have a 60hz screen on the stream pc).

That's why I wanted to know if with the new 4k pro card I wouldn't have any more, since it has the passtrough and vrr (even though I don't have a vrr screen).

The DX mic is a standard XLR mic - it's dependant on your XLR interface (like a GoXLR) to connecto to the PCs, so if it'll work with two at once is dependant on that.

With the first two, I can access a bunch of useful automation routines set up in SoundFlow and KeyboardMaestro which control features of my hardware, OS, and apps which do not have dedicated plugins.

With the third, I get to sweetly connect my SD+ into my system through those SF and KM tools.

Any USB 3.0 (5Gbps) or faster cable will do. I've used ones from SyncWire and Anker. Just double check the speed as a lot are "charging" cables that trade speed for higher wattage.

There is also ways you can take a complete windows-install, with your apps and settings and have it as a USB installer, like a Ghost-disk, if something messes up you get back to the Ghost-image

It's early in the morning for most of NA, where a lot of the volunteers are. It's not uncommon for the CTH channels to take a while to get a response when the volunteers aren't around. Have replied to you over there though.

I've seen reports of the new one passing through retail channels labelled as the original. The only real changes were the addition of 5Ghz support and support for the light remote, as far as I'm aware, so it's possible retail channels aren't treating it as a distinct product. Even the packaging doesn't designate is as a Mk2 upfront. If you see one in a brown box at the store, it's the mk2.

Finally have majority of my main home set up. Also have a few folders as well for my SD. Also added a Restart button which is a huge help when plugins like BarRaider's Spotify plugin needs a app restart to reconnect

If anyone wants to know how to do the restart, look at Nutty's channel, that's how I found it and it's a lifesaver, no more task manager for me

Depends on the console. XBox you can copy party chat to the HDMI (though not in game chats). PS5 and Switch not so much. Some headsets and mixers also offer different ways to split the audio.

yeah that's why I pondered if you could add the hold macro in a multiaction together with the regular soundboard and then release macro for the key

I just use Wave Link SFX into MicrophoneFX instead for my soundboard, and I use Push To Mute instead 😛

The shelf can handle about 55 pounds without issue. I haven’t pushed but it can definitely handle more than the weight of my current setup

But I haven’t see the regular handles on Amazon, but I have seen shock mounts

So if you’re in a big rush. Shock mount next day, if you’re not in a rush buy the other mount

Ductape does wonders
